I got my exhaust manifold resurfaced so I thought I'd make a video of the removal process. Let me know if it's good or sh#t. I'm no mechanic or expert in RB's (or any motors), I just use google and use my mechanical mind... Tutorial was done on my 1998 R34 GTT RB25Det Neo (Hypergear Highflow turbo with stock exhaust manifold). -
Hello! Nothing is wrong with my car, all gauges read correctly, the car fees responsive, and it overall is functional and great. However, with the cold temperatures, I noticed there is smoke coming out of my hood (the hood is vented) but I thought it must’ve been my valve cover filters that are venting to the atmosphere. I checked and to my surprise I found a whole substance on the exhaust manifold and turbo flange. I’m guessing it might be a leak? What do you guys think? -
hello guy, i bought Hypergear turbo and Tomei turbo elbow for stock turbo position. now, i don't want to spend more on changing the setup. So, i m wondering if there's any good low mount exhaust brand. Enlighten me with ur knowledge fellows. i want the best out of it. ty guys -
Ok, just a safety-check before I wreck something... Please draw on the attached image where you mean to avoid misstakes. I'm about to fit alignment pins (2mm) to align my knock-off manifolds with the head and the gaskets, 2 per manifold will do the job. Will need to drill approximately 5mm in to the head, where will it be thick enough so I don't hit an oil or water alley?
