  1. Hey guys, I have a strange issue with my RB25DET. It seems to have a weird fluttering/wooshing sound when coming on boost, a lot louder than normal. It seems to build and hold boost ok, maybe a little laggier than usual. I'm thinking maybe a boost leak, but here's the spanner in the works: the weird wooshing sound disappears during medium-hard left turns?? How weird is that? Does anyone know what could cause this issue and why it disappears during left turns only??? Any help appreciated. Thanks.
  2. I know this is a really controversial topic but being new to owning a turbo car that turbo flutter sounds cool and makes an impression to me and my friends. I've lots of mixed replies when I've asked people how to get a flutter. One friend told me ''Buy an aftermarket BOV and make sure its plumb back!'' But then another friend told me "You can't buy plumb back BOV's and to take it to a workshop and ask them to put a line on it back to the air filters/AFM." Can you guys help me out?! I know some people will say '' Have fun rebuilding your engine in a few years. '' But it's a personal choice and i would really appreciate the help!

  4. Just got my 1j swapped cressy over the weekend and I'm super happy about it, I reckon the factory "wooshh" sound from the turbo is kinda weird. I wanted to make I flutter and tried blocking off the bov but it still sounds the same, can I get any pointers? It's a bone stock non vvti aside from the dose pipe and pod. please don't roast me hahahaha
