  3. Modified Ford Falcon BA Ute MKII 6spd XR6 turbo It's a long shot on a skyline forum, but you never know. Up for sale is my 2004 MKII BA 6 speed, turbo ute. I am the third owner. Clean car, low kilometres (118,000km) and well looked after. I have a folder full of invoices and two sets of keys. The car, when new was purchased with a genuine Ford hard lid, Ford tray liner and tow bar package. The windows have been tinted, but aren't too dark. I purchased the car stock and have made the following upgrades (below). All work completed by performance shops and not myself. I drive the car every day from the Gold Coast to Brisbane for work, it is reliable and makes safe, street-able horse power. The exhaust has a deep note, but isn't obnoxious. Upgrades: 4 inch dump pipe with split waste gate pipe (vented in and legal) 100 cell race cat with 4 inch mid pipe Dual rear system into XFORCE rear muffler Plazmaman heavy duty valve springs Heavy duty clutch and light weight fly wheel + replacement spigot bearing PWR intercooler Bosch 1000cc injectors Walbro GSS340 fuel pump K&N panel filter (inside factory air box) Custom ECU tune (lap top based) SAAS dash pod SAAS boost and oil pressure gauge Earls turbo oil line filter I have recently replaced the following: New federal 595's all round (235/45/17) New gear box oil, diff oil and engine oil New harmonic balancer New tie rods and rack ends New throttle body gasket New centre bearing New disks and pads all round approx 6 months ago Queensland rego until 02/12/16. $13,900.   4. 1990 Ford F150 XLT Hi Guys, Selling this beastly truck for my missus. I dont have all the details, but can find them out easy enough. Here is what I know of the top of my head: 1990 F150 XLT RWD Injected 351 Windsor crate motor with around 2000kms on it, still only on run in tune for 98RON. Mild cam Microtech ECU 5 speed towie box (not sure which model) Alloy radiator Lowering kit from the states, dropped 3" front, 5" rear Custom exhaust Paint, panel and interior not the best, but good for a rat truck. Goes very well. Will go better with a proper tune. Is still registered as LPG, but was removed when the motor was swapped out. Does have aircon setup which is 95% complete, just a few little bits and pieces needed to get it running (I'm not sure what exactly, possible receiver dryer and some wiring) Im sure there are alot of things I have missed, but ask away and I will answer as best as I can. Perfect for a tow vehicle, if you want a mad work truck, or just because SOLD!!!

  7. 1 owner since new, an elderly women for the last 15years. It has always been serviced on time without any major problems. Never hooned in, driven over the limit or been in a crash. Selling due to the car only being driven on Sundays to church and isn't really needed anymore. All the electronic and air-con are in great working order, the interior doesn't have a knick or tear anywhere to be seen. Stereo controls on the steering wheel, Electric front windows and suspension that is still as soft as the day it was purchased Only a couple small scratches on the paint which can be expected of a 15year old car.   9. Firstly the interior. The seat position was good, i felt like I could get myself into any comfortable position, either up against the wheel for track use or further back and lower for cruising. The seats were quite supportive and felt nice. The steering wheel was a good size and the paddles were well positioned. The screen in the middle looked nice and had quite a high resolution. The 4 rocker switches underneath were funny, they were for drive type (Normal, Sport+, Track, Wet/Snow), Steering type (Normal, Sport, Comfort), Traction Control Off and Hazard Lights.... I thought it was amusing that Hazard Lights were in with the drive/handling types, ie turn off TCS and you'll need the Hazards. The switches only rocked upwards and not downwards which irritated me. The cup holders in the centre had light up red rings in them. They were a bit off, not quite what you'd expect in there. I felt sorry for anybody that has to sit in the back of one of these when somebody my size is driving. The plastic that made up the door cards was ghastly! It was very much the kind of plastic you'd expect to find in a 1998 Camry. Absolutely horrible. In my opinion this plastic brought the whole interior down. On the way in or out of the car, you step of the 'Mustang' door sill that is illuminated red. Outside the car, the puddle light is a Mustang logo. Looks great but I fear it is probably lacking in the useful department and would love to see people trying to avoid puddles with it. I think the car looks awesome! I am not a staunch Mustang guy, I haven't liked almost all of the new models, they have looked underdone and plastic. This looks a smidge European but while retaining its muscle roots. The red is nicely aggressive also. The bonnet is seriously long and is constantly in your face when driving the car. I didn't get an opportunity to really open it up but I did give it a few healthy squirts around the city. The sound of this car is intoxicating. I wanted to keep accelerating hard so I could hear it again. I'm not usually a V8 kinda guy, but this is really a nice soundtrack. What I find is a pity is the choices of driving type. I spent time in mainly Normal/Comfort and Sport+, the issue is that in Normal, the car is sluggish and unresponsive and I had to mash my foot through the firewall to get it to do anything, while in Sport+ it was horrible on edge and would lurch all over the place if you just moved your foot past the happy peddle. The lack of a middle ground between these was super frustrating and made it really hard to drive around the city. In Sport+ when you mashed your foot, the rear would squat and it would take off really nicely with what I'd expect to be a smooth, gradual power curve. Brakes are nice and pulled the car up easily but as I said I didn't get the car out of the city to give it a good run, same goes for the suspension, it was definitely not too hard and firm but I was far from pushing this car hard enough to try them out. I think, for what it is its a great car and if we were in the US market and could get one for $30 - $40k it'd be a helluva option. But this car in Australia is $85,000 (as tested, $~63k in stock form)! Over $20k more than the GT350R available in the States (for $62k ish). This car has to compete with a lot of nice cars at that price and I just don't think it is worth it. Even a Commodore SS Redline is only $58k. I don't see how the Mustang would compete even at that price. For more pics, check out the gallery.
  10. XR6 Turbo - 2004 Hi all, I am selling my XR6 Turbo in the coming weeks. I am putting it up here first, but please be assured it will be placed onto carsales as soon as I can. The details of the car: 2004 Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo. 122 000 kms. $8000 (possibly lower if you want to perform your own roadworthy). No modifications at all. Has not been re-flashed, has not been boosted and no valve springs either. Absolutely stock standard. I am the second owner of the car, previously owned by a Nurse, who didn't like it as much as her small 4wd so she just left it in her garage. Car comes with the following standard features: Cruise Control Automatic (4 Speed) 17" Alloys CD Stacker (In-Dash) It also comes with the following dealer options: Sunroof (just replaced under warranty because of glue expiration). Hayman Reese Tow Bar (not sure if this was dealer or aftermarket). The car is in excellent condition. It has a few marks on the front bumper (speed bump grinds) and also has some on the side-skirts where i think the previous owner had plants down their driveway that used to scrape the car. The LCD screen for the CD/Air Con is also quite dull. The first owner also smoked in the car, i have had the interior steamed cleaned and have invested considerable dollars (almost $80) into air fresheners to remove the smell. Otherwise, this car is in perfect condition. I purchased the car approximately 18 months ago with 109 000 kms on it. It has since been serviced twice and has recently had the front brakes changed. This just isn't the car for me, there's nothing wrong with it and I have genuine reason for sale, best to come and check it out for yourself if you are interested. Currently I drive it up and down the freeway (I live in the city, work in the outer suburbs), so it has done mostly (almost exclusively) freeway kilometers since I have owned it. The car will come with a roadworthy as a part of the sale and the remainder of the registration, it expires 26th March 2018. I only have old images of the car, i will be taking new ones this week for the carsales advertisement (and this one).The registration is 1IH7EI just so people can run rego checks.   14. Ok I’ve got a 2003 ford econovan 2.5 WL diesel and need to know what type of glow plug relay I need to get. I can’t read anything from the one I have and I’m sure it stays on after starting and was burning out the glow plugs. I’ve installed a cut off switch which is doing the trick but would like to put it back to original. would appreciate any help.
