  2. Hi all,Selling my 350GT V36 Skyline. It's quite a treat to drive, 315HP 3.5L V6 (VQ35HR). Large footed luxury sports sedan packed with features.Features such as Bluetooth, 3.5mm AUX, Tiptronic Paddles, Heated seats, Dual Climate air-conditioning, Integrated storage for music (Rips CD's automatically to an internal HDD), Large touchscreen driving the car's many computerised features and sound system, 4 Wheel Active Steering, Active Front Lighting System, VDC, Dual Xenon Headlights, 8 way power seats with driver memory, Rear and Side Cameras & much more.My particular model comes with the less common beige leather interior. Has been serviced at all recommended intervals and I've replaced the fluids & filters at a more regular 5,000Km interval. Recently had new tyres, alignment and balance performed - detailed in & out regularly.Completely stock, all genuine Nissan parts (aside from filters). Feel free to contact me for more photos. Asking for $13,000.Cons:- Scuffed on the underside of the passenger front bumper, as seen in image 5.
  3. Not my first time posting the results of my fun times down the strip, and certainly not going to be my last. Please see my video below documenting my adventures. After setting a PB of 14.2 @ 159kph back in October 2017, I decided to take my 2003 V35 back to the Perth Motorplex back in may before they closed up for the winter. The car should have been in great form- freshly serviced, a set of splitfire coilpacks (installed after the car threw a code) and some stainless steel test pipes (shedding 16kg of weight alone). I was gunning for a 14 flat, maybe even a high 13, but alas it was not meant to be. Despite a higher top speed (160+), I lost 2/100ths of a second and kept running 14.4's all night. It appears the car has picked up in the top end, but the 60ft times suffered. Where I was redlining 3rd previously, I still had an extra 500rpm up my sleeve. The only things to do now would be a tune, and maybe a 3:65 manual diff, so with bonus time coming up at work, that's what I'm planning for. But at least I know there is room for improvement! Mods as current: Apexi single 3" exhaust Stainless straight pipes Plenum spacer Injen short ram intake Grounding wire kit Splitfire coilpacks Tein coilovers Godspeed front/rear swaybars Factory Rays 19x8/19x8.5 forged rims with Achilles ATR Sport 2 tyres Please have a watch of the video and feel free to leave your thoughts below.
  4. Hey guys. I just bought a gt350 from Sydney, I love it. But unfortunately one of the previous owners HD scratches both front bumpers and rims on gutters. I was informed of the site carID, I know it's an American based warehouse, I have found a body kit that I like on this site. I'm just concerned about the price of customs into our borders and the price of shipping from America. Has anyone else used carID or can anyone suggest an Australian shop which I can get a body kit for my car? Thanks
  5. 350gt-8 Manual conversion I'm in the slow process of manual converting my 350gt-8 sedan i have a gearbox clutch fly wheel and driveshaft . The only thing i'm stuck on is a CLUTCH PEDAL ass for it does anyone know if a 350z on is the same? or can recommend on that will work. Any info/link would be awesome
  6. Hey guys, thinking about buying this car- https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-view-details.html?adId=1161205104 I need your thoughts on it, I have been surfing this forum and most of the v35 threads are 7 years old. So looking at the 2003 Nissan Skyline v35 do you think it is worth buying this vehicle. If so why? I need to know what is the petrol tank capacity, what octane fuel to put in and how long will the car last with urban driving on a single tank. Also I need to know if the car is expensive too maintain seeing that it is 14 years old. What i mean by this is that is it expensive to service, fix broken parts etc etc. I also need to know if it is worth selling my 2010 Subaru Impreza RS Hatch 5sp manual to buy this car?!?!?? PLEASE HELP ME!!!
  7. 2003 V35 Skyline 350GT - MODIFIED 2003 V35 Skyline 350GT - ACT - $23,500 Well the time has come for me to make the decision to on-sell my V35. I am a ‘50s something guy’ who purchased this car in July 2013 after searching high and low for about 4 years to find a V35 that was in as good as condition as this one was to satisfy my mid-life-crisis. I am the 3rd Australian owner of this vehicle and purchased the car off a guy on this forum in Vic, who purchased the car off the 1st owner (an older guy who was fastidious about the car) who imported the car back in 2006. I have all receipts for all servicing done to the car while I have owned it, as well as all import and compliance papers, including the de-registration papers from Japan to prove genuine km’s plus a stack of receipts for all mods done to the car by the previous 2 owners. The previous owner spent over 10k on the car. Condition: Excellent. 124,XXX genuine km’s. Accident free. Rust free. Engine pulls like a train. Regularly serviced every 5,000km to 8000km. Car has just been detailed inside and out and under the bonnet for this sale and is spotless. Standard Features: Leather & Suede black/grey interior. Factory Navigation tuner (converted to English) Folding mirrors Auto headlights Dual Climate control Electric seats Factory alarm Factory Privacy glass 5AT (auto) Transmission MODIFICATIONS Interior: Works Bell carbon paddle shifters ($500) Momo Leather shifter ($200) All interior piece professionally painted gloss black in 2-pac paint ($250) New ‘350GT’ embroided floor mats ($150) LEDs throughout Cruise Control (aftermarket - makes this car a dream to drive on those long freeway journeys) Stereo: Pioneer AVH-8450BT 7” DIN HU ($700) Wiring harness for steering wheel controls Pioneer Reverse camera ($175) Alpine PDX-V9 5Ch amp ($500) Image Dynamics 10” sub ($400 imported from the US by previous owner) Custom fibreglass sub box JL Audio RCAs ($100) 0 gauge wiring front to back Dynamat soundproofing throughout Computer cooling fan to keep amp cool Bose speakers Suspension BC BR Coilovers ($1300) Whiteline sway bars Front & Rear SPC rear camber arms SPC rear toe bolts Brakes Brembo calipers F&R (not standard on autos, fitted in 2009 and painted in VHT Tiffany Blue with Brembo decals, and Brembo bleed nipples) Safebrake performance s/steel braided & teflon lined brake lines QFM HPX pads ($240) RDA Slotted rotors front Wheels & Tyres SSR SP3 20x9 (+6) 20x10 (+16). The price is at the upper end of the scale, I am aware, but I honestly don’t believe you could find a better condition V35 or one with this level of modification (it took me 4 years to find this one). This car has been such a joy to own, having had no issues whatsoever and is just a beautiful car and a pleasure to drive. A real head turner – literally! It is without doubt one of the prettiest looking 2 door coupes Nissan has ever produced and that is what turns heads (most people don’t know what brand of car it is and I always get comments on the look and exhaust note of the car). Plenty of power with a 0-100 time in the sub 6 secs and can hold it with the best through the turns. There is nothing left to do on this car except maybe a TransGo shift kit. Willing to sell minus wheels (subtract $2500). Car can be viewed in Canberra on weekends – only a reasonable 3 to 3 ½ hr drive from Sydney and it loves that trip back up the highway. 9. LHD G35 Battery Cover Install [M35] 1. Remove the rubber that runs along brake cyl compartment 2. You'll need to trim off a strip of about 5mm from the top of the brake cyl compartment. I forgot to take a photo but we also sanded the edge after cutting, so there was no sharp bits. 3. Cut this little chode off from under the wiper too 4. You'll need to make at least one bracket to support the cover, as only one of the holes line up with the car to support it. Make more along the back if you're keen 5. Mock up the cover and mark out where the bracket will fit, then drill it out. 6. Test fit everything 7. Add a touch of paint to make sure the metal you've cut on the body doesn't rust. We just used touch up paint in a can that we sprayed into the lid and dabbed on with a paint brush. 8. Dun

  13. G35 front calipers onto R34 25gt Essentially the title says it all, have people done this conversion on a skyline before? I've mainly seen it done on Silvias to great success since they either swap in gtst or brembos from skylines anyways. I would assume the swap onto an N/A r34 would be identical to gtt swap just needing the uprights drilled to14mm. Would be a decent upgrade from the 280x26mm rotor to a 320x28 from the g35. Biggest reason behind this route is that I'm located in Canada and sources parts for skylines is quite difficult quickly so I decided to try and swap it to a domestic vehicle with plenty of stock for less headaches. Thanks for any one with more info on this setup!

  18. Hey guys, As the title states.... my 2003 V35 350gt alarm sometimes decides it wants to be active when I lock it, then sometimes isn't active when I lock it. Easiest way to explain it is when I lock the car, come back later then tried to open doors and alarm went off (great!) However when I decide to try it again and come back later to open door the alarm doesn't sound or go off? I have been told the V35s come with factory Nissan security however mine came with what I think is an after market alarm or immobilizer with a key fob? Have uploaded some photos as attachments with what currently is the go.. key, key fob, and a little switch and press button thing which I assume the fob connects to? Unless I am doing it wrong I just lock the car as usual with lock button. Don't really know what the use / how to use the other key fob and switch so any help would be greatly appreciated!

  22. Ok so I have contacted quite a few different companies and decided I like the kuruma z front bumper available from conceptzperformance for $350 without the mesh grills or $450 with them. Shipping is $750 to Brisbane and if I add a second grill it will add less than $100 to the shipping total apparently. So that would mean split between two people it would be $400 shipping each plus the bumpers. Or CARiD for $398.75 Shipping is $400 and I am awaiting reply on whether I can add another bumper and reduce shipping even further. I will update as I find out more but is anyone after one of these bumpers? I think they look sick and we would both save money. Joel.
  23. Hey guys so I've been looking into shipping bodykits and I ran into the problem of ridiculous shipping costs. I started looking at expressaerokits.com and asked them for quotes and they've gotten back to me with $949.84 plus dropship fee (does not include and duties taxes or fees) Door to airport Pilot Air Freight 1-2 weeks Brisbane or $420.26 plus dropship fee (does not include and duties taxes or fees) Door to port Pilot Ocean Freight 4-6 weeks Brisbane for the front bumper I was looking at which is significantly better than the $1500 bodykits.com gave me provided you can wait 4-6 weeks. I have emailed back asking if they price will go up if I add to the order so I'm not yet sure about adding on but I thought at the very least this might be helpful to some of you. Joel.
  24. I have decided it may be time for a change so I have put my V35 up for sale. I would prefer to sell but I MAY be interested in a decent swap. If you are interested and think you have something I may be interested in then let me know. I'm not in any hurry to sell or move the car on - still love it, very happy with it and could easily hold onto it, just testing the waters I am the first owner in Australia, I bought it direct import and have had it for about 2 years now. When I received the car it was completely stock and I still have all the original parts too. This car is a pleasure to drive, it handles amazingly, has good fuel economy, response and looks great with the simple styling it has. Excellent condition inside and out! Auction grade rating: 4.5 A. If you don't know about auction grades, this is excellent! I like to look after my cars so it's been regularly washed, serviced and well maintained. Just had a full service done on 07/01/15 including oil filter, Motul oil, all other fluids checked, all belts replaced and complete safety check carried out, with no issues found. This car is in great condition and will not disappoint! * Silver body. * Premium spec model with black leather interior and BOSE sound system. * Darkest legal tint on door windows. * Privacy glass on rear window and rear 1/4 windows. * Excellent air conditioning and heater. * Automatic transmission with clutchless manual option to switch to. * Adjustable coilover suspension front and rear (standard suspension can also be included). * 19x9.5 and 19x11 wheels and tyres with good tread. (standard wheels can also be included, with good tyres also) * Roughly 115xxx kms. * HID headlights. * Aftermarket ADR approved Alarm system. * Z-tube induction pipe which gives increased flow and a nice note on acceloration (standard V35 intake pipe included as well). * I have also had the slide up screen converted to english and all functions work perfectly! * iPod lead installed which will play music and video through the sound system and video on the pop-up screen, as well as charge your iPhone/iPod while it's connected. * Hidden reversing camera installed just above number plate. * Genuine Nissan add-on front bar lip. * Carbon fiber roof lip. * Carbon fiber boot lip. * Carbon wrapped rear diffuser. * Gloss black wrapped roof. * Blacked out front grille. * All interior lighting converted to bright LEDs. Asking price: $16,500 ono. If you are interested please contact me to arrange to inspect the car and I'm sure you will agree that this is a very clean example of V35 Skyline. I have looked at the other examples for sale when considering my asking price and feel it is fair given the condition, spec, parts and features of mine however I am slightly negotiable within reason.
