  3. Hi, I am looking to sell my baby due to relocating overseas. I have had this car since it was imported to Aus about 15 years back. Located in Sydney. Sale price $12,000 but am happy to negotiate - No swaps. This is a 1996 white Skyline r33 series 2 with 170,xxx showing on the odo (though the engine was rebuilt at 12x,xxx - will double check as I have receipts). Rego expires in April. Lots has been modified (the same amount as purchasing the car has been spent in mods [~$20k]), however it is 100% street legal and aimed to be a "sleeper" style. It has been dyno tuned to produce 260kw @ 14.7 psi (1 bar boost) . The car drives well and has usable road power - responsive and still has a nice kick. It is ready for more power by dropping in a larger turbo - the engine is bullet proof, as it has been rebuilt with forged internals, increased injectors, fuel pump, etc. All mods are quality branded products and have been installed professionally (mainly from IS Motor Racing, Rockdale) and I have receipts for all mods - mods include: (I will update the brands and details when I get some time to look through the receipts and other paperwork) - engine rebuild with forged pistons and lots of other goodies - by IS Motor Racing - splitfire coil packs - xxx oil pump - xxx fuel pump - xxx cc injectors - z32 AFM - r34 hi flow bb turbo (cant remember which company did it) - xxx heavy duty clutch - 4ws disabled - xxx front mount intercooler (sprayed black - sleeper style) - Apexi pod filter (with box - street legal) - xxx 3'' turbo-back exhaust - Apexi power FC with hand controller - Apexi AVCR boost controller - xxx turbo timer - Trust front mount oil cooler - Whiteline sway bars - xxx camber and toe arms - r33 rear strut brace - GReddy front strut brace - HPI engine damper - r32 gtr forged rims - GReddy oil temp and boost gauges - nismo gear knob - tinted windows - genuine series 2 floor mats - front and back - Sony deck - new front and rear speakers (can't remember what brand - I think Pioneer) - quiktrak immobiliser/alarm - Air con/heater and everything in the car works There are probably many more which I just don't remember but I will update the list once I get time to look through receipts.   4. Hey everyone, Nearing the end of my 32 GTR overhaul and just chasing up a few last parts. In order of desperation (haha) Oil Cooler kit (greddy, hks, blitz) to suit R32 GTR. Preferably a kit with brackets and vents SPECIFIC to a BNR32 but happy to take a kit that someone has made themselves if you can provide photos of the installed cooler. Greddy Intake Suction Kit to suit RB26 with Z32 AFM's Greddy part number - 12020902 Not essential but I would really like a Tomei Ti Catback exhaust to suit a 32 GTR. It's no where near as important as the other items but it would be nice. If you have any of these available please PM or text me (0419170619) I'm located in Sydney but am happy to pay for postage. I am interested in swaps - will look at other imports, VIP's, rotors.....etc Im sure there is more on this car than what i have listed, basically all parts have been installed within the last 16 months. the car was Dyno tuned by Gavin Wood where it made a healthy and safe 310HP at the rears on 1 bar with loads of torque, will make more HP with a bigger rear housing. SERVICING: I service this car every 5,000kms or 4-6 months, in the last two years of ownership i have put 6,000kms on the car but serviced it 4-5 times as i like to keep it fresh and well looked after. fuel filter, vacuum lines, belts, timing belt, water pump, radiator, radiator hoses etc, everything has been replaced within the last 5,000 kms.

  9. Hi everyone. Been searching a fair bit and cannot find them advertised anywhere, but in some of the installs of a greddy, Pavel made an adapter plate to make the standard r34 aacv fit the r33 slot. I have messaged Pavel, but he hasn't been online for a while now. Is there anyone who can make one as it would probably be a lot less stuffing around than sourcing and modifying an r33 unit? I would have thought the adapter plate would have been a common selling item with most people wanting to tidy up their bay with a cheap freddy. Cheers.
  10. I have a Greddy/Grex thermostatic oil block adapter hooked up to a Mishimoto 19 row oil cooler in my R33 GTS-T. The oil cooler is located in the drivers wheel well with ventilation cut into the splash guard to pull air through it. The issue I'm finding is that my oil temps are very low. On track they sit at 85-90C (previously 120-130C), and on the road in winter they are sitting anywhere between 20-40C (previously 80-90C) with ambient air temps of 8-10C. I paid extra for a thermostatic adapter so I wouldn't have these issues, but have a feeling it could be stuck open. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get my oil temps higher or test the adapter? I don't want to make covers for the cooler as the adapter should be doing this job.
  11. Grex sandwichplate flow direction? Hi! I'm in the progress of installing an oil cooler in my R33. It's a Grex/Greddy oil cooler kit which includes everything you need for Installing, all good. The question is I'm not sure which port on the thermostat that is inlet an which is outlet? (look at picture) BTW will the Grex thermostat allow any oil through the oil cooler when the Engine is still cold? or do I have to wait until it opens to be able to top up the oil level? Okay so ive got an issue with putting these injector inserts into my freddy plenum and need help with what to do, basically the rubber seal is too big to fit (i did use bosch rubber grease to try and get them in)but the actual inserts themselves fit perfectly! What other options would i have to seal the inserts, i was thinking of using rvt gasket maker but am unsure if this will be okay?
  13. Cams - what to get ???? ok guys, now b4 anyone starts and i know there are many posts about cams and so forth on here. But i want other peoples opinion on what to get for my motor not what other people have. i have looked into cams and so forth but havnt really got a definitive answer yet, so i would like other peoples opinion on the matter so i can make a educative descision on what to buy. pref something that drops straight in and i dont have to change anything. ok so my specs are as follow ecr33 - series 2 rb25det hks bottom end work standard cams and so forth on top ff plenum hks gt-rs turbo - not sure on trim currently running 15psi - want to run 18 -20 psi turbosmart wg40 wastgate - currently spring set 11 psi greddy oled - boost controller power fc still has vct aswell, dont realy want to get rid of that unless its an easy job. currently changing fuel injectors to 1000cc from standard boost comes on around 3200rpm onwards - responsiveness from idol to boost is very good want to try and retain that so the question is what cams should i be getting to work between the 3000rpm range to 7000 rpm, but i also want it to sound a little lumpy if u know what i mean. i will be eventualy changing over to the haltec ecu with rotational idol, but for now the power fc is good. so anyone have any qood information so i can choose the right cams - and please no abuse or telling me to sell my car as i have seen on other posts ???????
  14. So I've had my R33 for a few months now and I've recently been having boost control issues. I have Greddy profec B Spec II and its acting very strangely. It drives fine and holds boost until it hits peak boost (14psi) then it will no longer make any boost. The display says it's making around 1psi. But then after leaving it for a while it will work fine again, rinse and repeat. Is it the solenoid sticking open? Any help would be great. Cheers
  15. I tried installing the core today. Annoyingly, the BOV return pipe gets in the way. It's a 13 row core, one too many sadly. Anyone managed to fit the 13 row oil cooler with the standard BOV return pipe? I don't want to attack the pipe with a hammer...
  16. Hi i am about to take out the standard plenum to update some old heater hoses under it. In doing so I thought it might be a good idea in replacing it. Will going to a greddy plenum improve my engine at all?

  19. Hi, was looking for some advice/opinions. Ive researched and had a read up on oil coolers and LSD for my car. Car is R33 GTS-t S2 soon to be around 300rwkw. Driven maybe twice a month and a few track days per year. Oil cooler - I see a few guys had done their own and cost $3-400.   20. hi guys, i just got my boost controller. i have a k&n drop in filter and 3''turbo back exhaust. i want to tune it for 12-13 psi for the high boost. i have come past the article on evo forum about how to tune it. but i was just wondering if any one is who has the same set of mods and is running this boost controller as well give me their settings it would be easier. thanks for the help.

I have a universal 80mm Throttle Body that is going on a Greddy style Front Facing Plenum on my 25det. I am having trouble installing the TPS on to the Throttle body, does anyone know how to get the stock 25det TPS onto the Throttle body? Thanks!
  22. hello! if any of you have an r33 gtr and have an oil relocation kit installed, i would be grateful if you shared with me what you used as a mount point. i don't have the oil cooler, i think i will be purchasing an HKS (15004-AN004) kit down the road, but for now i have a greddy relocation kit. this thing doesn't exactly come with any kind of real instruction, just theoretical on how it should work. is there an existing bracket that i should be leveraging, or did you need to drill new holes in the engine bay to get the position correct? is there anything i should know before taking this on? i figured i'd put the adapter plate on the block and then bolt the relocation kit in an easy to access spot on the driver's side, cut the AN hosing to correct lengths and then make the connections. thanks in advance for the recommendations and help!
  23. Hi guys! Installed a GReddy RB26 Aluminum I/C Pipes last week, now I notice there is a turbo wistle/whine during spools. I haven’t noticed them before, I dunno if it’s connected. Was thinking maybe it’s because the thick insulated rubber pipe (after the “Twin Turbo” pipe ) was replaced with a metal one that’s why the wistle is more audible now? That was our theory because that rubber pipe was insulated. Anyone had similar experience?
