  1. Nismo Plenum Group Buy #2 Following Sinista32’s successful Nismo plenum GB last year, I’ve decided I would start another for those that missed out. Time frame: Group buy run’s from now until the 14th April. This end date is subject to change Price: TBC closer to the closing date due to fluctuations in the exchange rate – estimated to be ~$1650 delivered. A quick Google will tell you this is a very good price. Supplier: TBC shortly No of people: 5 is the magic number Details of the Plenum: ~ Nismo plenum as discussed on SAU. If you have a comment or technical question, put it in that thread please. - Group buy #1 – info from the first GB plus results - Nismo information – from this link. (It's the sales speak) FEATURES: To find the most suitable shape for tuning engines (400ps to 600ps), the diameter and the length of the intake pipe, and the cross section shape of the intake collector was redesigned. The distribution of air to each tube was improved to provide more equal airflow volume, improving torque in the mid-speed range. Improved air intake volume between the pipes of the front and rear sides reduces the difference in air intake temperature on both sides of the turbine, optimizing the air-fuel ratio and ignition timing and providing increased output and fuel consumption. Simple bolt-on installation means that no additional work is required (however, the throttle linkage and throttle sensor must be adjusted). SPECIFICATIONS: - Collector volume: 4.1 liter (genuine = 3.4 liter) - Intake pipe length: 73.8mm (genuine = 48.5mm) - Intake pipe diameter: tapered from ø 43 to ø 45 (genuine = ø 45) - Material, production method: cast aluminum PRODUCT NOTES: - Intake temperature difference at the entrance of turbo chargers is improved averaging 18% in 2,400 to 7,600 rpm range. - At 4,800 to 7,600 rpm, power output is increased by an average of 1.8%, while fuel economy is improved averaging 0.4%. - This product cannot be installed with the engine mounted. - Installation of this product will change the characteristics of the engine, necessitating adjustment of the engine control unit. Failure to do so very likely will result in damage to the engine. - The engine improvement figures shown above are based on internal company testing. The actual level of improvement will depend on the engine specifications, conditions of air-fuel mixture and ignition timing, weather and the precision of measurement. - This product cannot be used with single, large-diameter throttle chambers. So who's keen? Cheers, Joel
  2. Hi all, I have recently purchased this brake adaptor kit for my R34 GTT, and after learning of my involvement on Skylines Australia, Alpha Omega Racing has offered a discount saving to all SAU members. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Product: Evo 350mm Brembo Brake Adaptor Kit. The adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. There is also a 'Stealth Edition' kit available, where the adaptors are anodised black. Purpose: The kit allows you to fit Brembo calipers from an Evo 5-9 (all the same) with Evo X rotors (350mm, much larger than the 320mm used on previous Evo's) to your R32/R33/R34/S13 (5 stud)/S14/S15/Z32/Z33. The reason for not using the Evo X caliper is because they have larger 'legs' which would require the adaptor to be smaller/weaker. The Brembo calipers on the Evo's have a slightly larger pad area than the GTR Brembo's, as well as larger pistons, and can often be bought significantly cheaper too. What's included: - Pair of CNC machined 7075 billet alloy caliper adaptors - High tensile bolts and washers - Installation instructions (with pictures) What you need to get - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clips/banjo bolts) - Mitsubishi Evo X front rotors (350x32mm) - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above, but you are also able to purchase the parts elsewhere if you wish. I personally sourced the parts elsewhere as I decided to go for 2 piece Attkd rotors and had a local business make my brake lines as I use them regularly for other custom lines. Some people may find it more convenient to purchase all parts for the conversion from Alpha Omega Racing and the listed prices are as follows; - Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo front calipers (used) - $850 - RDA Evo X 350x32mm slotted rotors - $290 - Goodridge custom brake lines - $240 Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Price: The RRP for the adaptor kit is $370 plus postage, or $385 for the 'Stealth Edition' adaptor kit plus postage. The group buy discount that is being offered is; - <5 people = no discount - 5-11 people = Normal kit for $340ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $355ea, (save $30) plus postage - 12-19 people = Normal kit for $310ea, or 'Stealth Edition' kit for $325ea, (save $60) plus postage - 20+ people = As above, with free postage - including tracking number/signature on delivery/insurance (total saving of approximately $90-110) Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run for a two (2) week period, finishing at close of business on 4th June 2015. Anybody interested in purchasing the kit as part of the group buy should notify my by the cut off date and I will add them to the 'buyer list'. At the conclusion of the group buy period I will tally the number of buyers and contact Alpha Omega with the total numbers. A discount coupon will be provided to each buyer allowing them to get the appropriate discount. Prior to the cut off date all communication will be with me either via this thread or via PM. At the conclusion of the group buy, once you have been provided with the discount code, all communication will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega. All shipping and payment details will be between the buyer and Alpha Omega only. Any warranty on the product(s) will be provided by Alpha Omega. 3. Hey all. I have been speaking to Pete from Hypertune about having a plenum made to suit my car. Also thinking about back to back testing it vs the plazmaman that I currently have on my RB25. Then thought if all goes well a few more of you guys would probably be interested in one. Hes willing to offer a group buy also, and actually making a production run on Hypertune RB25 plenums. I've told Pete that I'll let this run for a week or so and see the interest it generates and get back to him and it will be decided from there. This is where we are at so far. I also added pictures he sent to me. Hi Matt, Thanks for the call yesterday. Some pics attached of what we currently make for the RB25. We are thinking of making a more "production" version and this might be a good opportunity to do it. It will still look very similar to the one pictured. It will look quite similar to the one pictured but rather than use part of the standard manifold we would machine a billet head flange. I've come up with 4 different manifold options: 1. Inlet manifold to suit standard TB (or existing TB) and standard fuel rail 2. Inlet manifold to suit standard TB (or existing TB) + billet fuel rail to suit top feed injectors 3. Inlet manifold + Hypertune 90mm TB + to suit standard fuel rail 4. Inlet manifold + Hypertune 90mm TB + billet fuel rail to suit top-feed injectors I'd like to sell 10 units - a combination of any of the 4 options would be fine. Since we'd be selling 10, I'll price them at 25-30% below retail price also. I haven't quite worked out what retail price would be but with the manufactugin techniques I have in mind I'm hoping they will come out considerably cheaper than our current line of intakes without compromising performance. We will still use the same plenum as the one pictured. Let me know what you think so far. Regards, Pete Lewin | Hypertune
  4. Hi guys and girls Seeing as the thread in the for sale section is getting everyone excited about the rain guards i thought this would be relevant NOTE: I am not an importer, I just want to see what kind of items would be group buy-able If you could include the following at the beginning of your post it will make everyone's lives easier: Car Model: Item:

  6. Alpha Omega Racing Evo 350mm Big Brake Kit Group Buy Round 3 (WTAC rear kit available) Hey all, Alpha Omega Racing are running a group buy again just in time for World Time Attack Challenge. You may already be aware, Alpha Omega Racing have been developing adaptor kits to fit front and rear Evo Brembo’s to S/R/Z chassis for some time now. This is now the third group buy run for the brake adaptor kits, and will this time include the front adaptor kit (Version 3), rear adaptor kit, and the new WTAC edition rear adaptor kit which has been developed to meet WTAC Clubsprint rules. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Products: Evo 350mm Brembo Front Brake Adaptor Kit and/or Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adaptor Kit. These adaptors are 100% CNC machined billet alloy, grade 7075, which is super lightweight and high strength. What's included (front kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Various high tensile 12.9 bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Front fitment with 17x9 +15 What's included (rear kit): - Left and right adapters made out of one piece of 7075-T6 billet aerospace alloy - Hub spacers (standard rear kit only) - Various high tensile bolts and high tensile washers - Full installation instructions with pictures Rear fitment with 18x10 +35 What you need to get (front kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers(including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10 front 350x32mm rotors - Custom brake lines Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts, but you also have the options of sourcing them yourself. I personally sourced parts for my front kit elsewhere as I had my own lines made and picked up a cheap set of calipers. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo frontcalipers (used) - $850 - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA T3 rotors (new) - $470; or - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 10front350x32mm DBA5000 2pc (new) - $1200 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $130 What you need to get (rear kit) - B.Y.O. or supplied by Alpha Omega Racing: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (including pads/pins/shims/clip) - Nissan 370Z rear 350x20mm rotors - Custom brake lines Again, Alpha Omega Racing can supply all of the above parts if desired. I personally sourced all parts from Alpha Omega Racing for convenience with the rear kit. Alpha Omega Racing has these parts listed at: - Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5/6/7/8/9 Brembo rear calipers (used) - $450 - Nissan 370Z rear 350x32mm DBA T2 rotors (new) - $450 - HEL custom braided brake lines (new) - $110 Silvia (180SX/S13/S14/S15) drivers who want a functioning handbrake will need to use the R32/R33/R34/Z32 rear drum setup, a very common upgrade. It is also worth noting that the standard rear kit requires a 6mm hub spacer to be installed for caliper clearance, this will also push your wheel/tyre out a further 6mm so may affect guard clearances. Alpha Omega Racing can also offer services to rebuild your used calipers, powder coat them, or even install the whole kit. Using both the front and rear big brake kits developed by Alpha Omega will result in a 69:31 brake bias. Wheel clearance: Minimum of 17" race style wheels with good clearance are required. Brake Master Cylinder: You are able to retain your factory brake master cylinder, however it is recommended to upgrade to a brake master cylinder with a piston size of 17/16" (such as a BM57). Genuine OEM BM57 BMC’s are available from Alpha Omega Racing at a price of $500 (new), or you could also try to source from your usual Japanese parts suppliers or Nissan dealership if you desired. Price: Pricing for this group buy will be calculated per number of kits sold, not per buyer. For example, if 3 people buy a front and rear kit each, this will be calculated as 6 kits sold. Prices will be as below: 1-4 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $370ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear adapter kit for $450ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $390ea (no savings yet, group buy not activated) 5-10 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $345ea (save $25) - Rear adapter kit for $400ea (save $50!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $340ea (save $50!) 11-15 kits sold - Front adapter kit for $320ea (save $50!) - Rear adapter kit for $350ea (save $100!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $290ea (save $100!!) 16+ kits sold - Front adapter kit for $295ea (save $75!!) - Rear adapter kit for $300ea (save $150!!!) - Rear “World Time Attach Edition” adapter kit for $240ea (save $150!!!) Braided brake lines, rotors, calipers, bleeders, rebuilding, etc are not part of this group buy but you are welcome to order them altogether. Group Buy Condition: The group buy will run until close of business on Sunday 28th September 2016. Anybody interested in purchasing either of the kits as part of the group buy should notify me by the cut-off date and I will add them to the 'buyer list'. At the conclusion of the group buy (29th September 2016), I will tally the number of buyers and advise Alpha Omega with the total numbers. A discount ‘coupon code’ will be provided to each buyer on the 30th September 2016 allowing them to get the appropriate discount in the shopping cart on the Alpha Omega Racing website. It is expected that most orders will be placed between 3rd – 7th October 2016. Alpha Omega Racing will be closed during World Time Attack Challenge dates (10th – 14th October 2016). Upon returning to business, they will begin processing/shipping as soon as they return from their closure period for WTAC on the 17th October 2016. Prior to the cut-off date all communication will be with me either via this thread or via PM. If you have any questions, regarding the kit or the pricing, please don't hesitate to ask either by posting in this thread or sending me a PM. Cheers, Tim
  7. Hi all, You may already be aware, Alpha Omega Racing have been developing adaptor kits to fit front Evo Brembo’s to S/R/Z chassis for some time now. As some of you are aware, they have recently finished development and testing of their rear kits, creating a cost effective way to get some bigger brakes on the rears of our cars. Alpha Omega Racing recently ran a group buy for the front kits and is now offering a group buy on the new rear kits, as well as a second round group buy on the front kits (now Version 3). The new version for the front kit means that now both front and rear are completely bolt-on (except for the dust shields being trimmed). The front kit previously required you to cut a tab off the hub. They are also stronger with the new design. Company: Alpha Omega Racing www.alphaomegaracing.com Products: Evo 350mm Brembo Front Brake Adaptor Kit and/or Evo 350mm Brembo Rear Brake Adaptor Kit.
