  1. Hello guys, I have no ideas left with this problem, every time I switch the ignition to (On) my car start buzzing from the rear end, for about 10 seconds, the it does the same for about 5 seconds when it starts. After that every time I touch the gas pedal in neutral or in gear the buzzing starts till I let go of the gas pedal. I have no ideas left, if someone could let me know what this buzzing is. Sounds like it's coming from the diferencial or hicas system. The sound started out of nowhere. PS. I'll leave a video with the sound. Thanks in advance. 20240322_174850.mp4
  2. Hi Gents, I recently purchased an R32 gts-t Mspec coupe for a reasonable price (I think). The reason it was cheap is because it isn't road legal and requires some chassis repairs before it can be certified and road legal here in NZ. The previous owner had owned it for 20years and imported it over from AU to NZ 8 years ago (2015) with intentions of eventually getting it certified here in NZ. He finally started this process a few months ago to find that it has un-repaired A-pillar damage, in additon to a poor repair to the front chassis rail (both damages on the drivers side) and he doesnt have the resources or time to repair it. Apart from this, the car has been extreamly well kept, garaged it's whole life and is in presitine condition for it's age. My question for you legends is this; Do you think the damage to the pillar and/or chassis rail is repairable without having to completely chop/replace the damaged area? Or even worse, a full front end cut to replace? I'm really hoping this can be repaired with hydraulic pulls and extensive panel beating instead. Also keen to know how major you would score this damage; From 1 being "minor - crack on with it" and 10 being "don't even bother mate - she's cooked" Cheers fellas

Hi guys a recently purchased R33 Gtst automatic is driving normally some days then it'll just completely lose responsiveness but once stopped the key will start the car as if nothing had just happened. if anyone has experience with this issue that would be extremely helpful. The mechanic we brought it to said they "fixed it" but no it definitely was not fixed. Please if anyone has experience anything would help, Thank you!

  6. Original, Never boosted and accident free M-Spec, with import papers. Have Original Keys + 2 spare keys i made. M-spec front grill which was an optional upgrade. Serviced every single 5,000kms. Tha paint is in excellent condition for a car of its age, has been polished and buffed to resurface that brilliant shine, however stone chips on the front bar and bonnet lead me to re-spray both the front bar and bonnet. (The factory black colour is a one tone black, this makes it possible to achieve an identical colour match to the rest of the paint. - trust me, i made a big deal about this before any painting happened).   10. selling my 1992 r32 skyline, need the cash to travel and moving to a island when i get back so no real point keeping it, although it will be missed. its had a bit of work done to it nothing internal all bolt ons but still goes alright with a super clean look to it. Just finished putting in a imported engine, still rb20 but only done 110,000 on the engine itself the car has (will put up tomorrow) but haven't had anything major happen to it other than the alternator which is now a rb25. bit of damage on drivers door from a hit and run was so devastated when i found what had happened. i'll cut it sort to what mods it has and cons. rego: KKR 430 turbo turbosmart eboost2 blitz ecu chip simens injectors billet twin feed fuel rail saed fuel reg.   11. I have for sale in Melbourne (inner East) a very clean example of an R32 GTST, 1993 model. This car is sensibly modified, still 100% legal (I believe), drives really well and very straight, the doors line up perfectly, no history or sign of accident damage or rust. I purchased the car late last year for enjoyable drives, but circumstances have changed and it has to make way for something more family oriented. When I purchased it, I was told that the following maintenance/mods had been done: New head gasket kit, valve springs, head polished, new timing belt kit, everything was cleaned inside the block and head. Brand new brake pads and rotors were just installed. Custom built turbo came out of an r34 and was rebuilt using ceramic washers, it’s a bit bigger than a stock r32 turbo so it comes on a bit later. Blitz FMIC with full proper piping. GGreddy dual solenoid boost controller Greddy dual stage turbo timer Upgraded fuel pump A lot of bushes were replaced including steering tie end rods GT-R Aluminium Hood Cusco bars front and back Since then I’ve continued to improve it to become a really nice, all round machine. Changes / additions have been: Added a 3” Fujitsubo exhaust with a stainless steel rear muffler – great sound but still legal (although still have the std system as well). AVS model 17 inch wheels, 8” at rear, 7” at front which fill out the guards perfectly. Brand new Bilsteins all round with King springs, all to Sydneykid group buy specs. Professionally installed and set-up to just the right height for maximum handling – absolutely fantastic ride/handling result. Brand new Whiteline front & rear anti-roll bars to suit this set-up, but not currently installed. Brand new Splitfire coil packs Brand new oxygen sensor, AFM, K&N filter (in std airbox), auxiliary air control valve, NGK iridium spark plugs. Good second hand rear subframe installed. New JVC double din head unit – all the functionality and great sound, even over the pathetic speakers current in the car. Other stuff that comes with the car includes a Nismo 260 kph cluster, spare boot lids, one with std GTST spoiler, std springs and shocks, very stiff coilovers for rear, GTR side skirts, a broken GTR style fibreglass front bar. As per the photos, the car looks great. The interior is also good with no tears or problems other than some dash bubbles. The paint job shows its age close up but is still very passable except for the front bar & the boot lid where the spoiler used to bolt on. The car runs really well except that I have still not been able to get the idle quite perfect. It varies a bit between 800 and 1100 revs depending on its mood. Seems perfect as soon as you move off idle, is quite responsive at a bit over 2,000 revs, more so in the 3,000 rev range and then fantastic from around 4,000 revs. Someone tried to steal it recently, so I’ve had to replace the ignition lock. All now fine but I haven’t had time to get the keys matched up, so now there is one key for the doors and a separate one for ignition. Car is registered in Victoria until March 2014. Selling without RWC as I have time difficulties at the moment, but believe there are no significant rwc issues. Would like to get $7,500 for it but will listen to reasonable offers.   16. Hi Guys, Up for sale is my 1992 R32gts-t. I've had this car for a little over 3 years, straight off my P's, but i'm looking to move it along now that i've upgraded cars. On the exterior, the car is in good all round nick, with a few minor dents/scratches, and the interior is also good, no cracked dash etc, and the motor is tuned by EFI on the Gold Coast and is making about 175rwkw's without skipping a beat and getting 10L/100km to a tank. It has 97856km's on the clock, and the water pump and timing belt seem to have been replaced recently before I purchased the vehicle, but i'm unsure of the exact dates. Modification wise, i've gone about it to improve the cars performance performance while maintaining a stock look, a few minor changes would need to be made to the engine bay and it would be completely as per stock. The car is incredibly punchy and nimble given the smaller turbo and low weight, combined with the suspension and braking work it makes the car a joy to drive on twisting roads.   19. Hi All I believe the time has come to part with my car. I don't really want to, but opportunities lie ahead so I have to let it go. S1 R33 GTST. Driveline: LS2, removed from 2006 VE HSV, Engine has been left un modified. ( I can supply nitrous cam and nitrous kit for additional.) Custom made one off headers, 4 into 1 1 7/8 primary stepped to 2 inch finishing in a 3 and half inch collector. The rest of the system is a dual 3 inch, stainless high flow cats, dual hot dogs in the center and finishing through a Varex muffler. Trans is a fresh built 4L65e Casings have been machined to suit larger bearings New band ( almost twice the size of standard ) New servos New zpak clutches , 13 clutches for each gear New sun gear New plenatrys New oil pump New valve body's Converter will be standered for now. 1 piece custom tail shaft, tail shaft loop Nissan lock diff solid mounted rear cradle solid mounted engine mounts trans cooler, pwr steering cooler engine oil cooler, ( not connected at present) B&M pro rachet shifter launch control D2 suspension Adjustable caster rods programmable trans computer power sterring, ( rach has not been moved from factory location. New tyres. Interior: Mostly stock with the addition of the shifter, Haltech Dash, 6 point bolt in cage. ( Car currently has one aftermarket seat and harness, but these will be replaced with stock seat belts and seats. The Air con has not been hooked back up, a;though the addition of custom air con lines will allow this to work. All electrics work. The drive-line was built with drag racing in mind, however the suspension has been set up for drifting, the currently wheel alignment is tuned for street use. It is currently un-registered but can supply additional rego at buyers cost. The car was mostly built with legality in mind. You can legally put a 7 liter in this car. Engineering of this wont be hard, Remove front cage bars, and insert rubber between engine mount and cross member, and your 99% there. Body: Chameleon on color, ( Kabril Fantasy) by Glaseruit Front bar is the only let down with chips etc. I do have a new front bar for it, its not painted, however for additional I can paint this bar and fit. Or I can give you the opportunity to purchase spare color of me to paint the bar. ( this color been Glaseruit allows you to pain edge to edge). The car has NOT been cut to do this conversion. Transmission: - r34 gtt 5 speed gearbox - braided clutch line - exedy heavy duty clutch Has run a 13.4 as an auto and a 12.9 as a manual in the quarter mile. Is definitely capable of a mid 12! Serviced every 5000 km with only quality products used. Will come with a few extra bits like a turbo smart boost gauge and some track wheels. This is a beautiful one of a kind car. Drives great as a daily and has plenty of power but not over the top. please no time wasters or joy riders.   21. The Facts; 1997 Nissan Skyline S2 GTS-t 40th Anniversary Model Manual 150,xxx kms ACT Rego until August 2013. Car located in Phillip, ACT. Price: $10k Number: 0405 332 987 Call after 6pm or text during the day please This car is in excellent condition for its year. Goes and sounds great! I purchased the car last november in NSW and I'm only selling it as I fancy a change - I don't usually even keep a car this long. It has been professionally lowered (by previous owner - passed inspection in ACT no problem). It has 18" mags as shown in the pics with 225 tyres in the front and 265 on the rear - which were brand new when I bought it last year. It also has an after market dumpvalve but, apart from that and some Nismo(fake) seatcovers, this car is completly standard. The interior is immaculate, and kept that way with the seatcovers and regularly cleaned. The body of the car has some very minor blemishes - all of which happened before I bought the car. A carpark rash on the rear driver wing and some minor marks above the exhausts are the most noteworthy, but again, very minor. I can have these fixed no problem if a deposit is given on the car. I had great plans to have them fixed but just didn't get around to it - yet. The car flew through the roadworthy, only had to change some bulbs and wiper washer bottle! Goes to show how clean and reliable this car is. I'm in absolutely no rush to sell the car so no low-ballers need apply! Also, as i don't fancy some young gun flinging the back end in to a wall, so I'll be doing the piloting on any test drive. Price is slightly negotiable for a genuine buyer. Just fancy a change so I'm also open to part/ex for something nice - no Holdens or Fords though - Euro or Jap only. Car is manual, done 135000km's and has rego till Sept. Car has a few minor mods: - Bosch 040 fuel pump - Trust power extreme 2 turbo back exhaust - R34 side mount intercooler - Apexi pod filter - Alarm/immobiliser - 17" Yokohama AVS VS6 I've always serviced the car every 5000kms with fully synthetic oil, it's never been boosted or been on track/skid pan days etc.., just used as a daily driver. There is a scratch on the drivers side rear quarter panel. Looking for $9.5k w/o RWC, car is located in VIC, please only genuine buyers, price is negotiable.   24. I am looking to sell my 1992 Nissan Skyline GTS-T. I bought the car early this year after owning an MX5 and am only selling as I regret getting rid of the MX5. The car is in a very clean state, especially when comparing to other R32’s. I have receipts for it dating all the way back to 2010 and I have kept every receipt for it since I purchased it. 159,000km Manual RB20DET Coupe 2 door Rego runs out next month but I will purchase another 6 months for buyer P-plate friendly (with exemption, and I can show you how to get one) $9,000 The car has the following modifications done to it: - Power FC - RB25 Turbo with 360 degree thrust bearing - Splitfire Coilpacks - 550cc Deatschwerks Injectors - Stainless Braided Oil Water and Break Lines with Speed Flow fittings - Front mount Intercooler - HKS Turbo Timer - Auto Meter Boost Gauge - Cusco Strut Braces front and rear - AVS Model 6 wheels (17x8+35) - HSD Coilovers all round - ARP Headstuds - Cometic Headgasket - Head crack tested, resurfaced and professionally cleaned, - New Nissan genuine parts purchased while putting on the head gasket: Timing belt, all engine gaskets, ALL Heater hoses (Including top and bottom radiator hose), 100,000km Service kit, - HICAS Elimination kit installed by Option1Garage - Front and Rear Camber arms installed by Option1Garage - Castor arms Installed by Option1Garage - Mongoose Alarm/Immobiliser (Insurance friendly) - Pioneer Headunit with AUX - Nismo Thermostat and New housing As you can see quite a lot of money spent on the car. The car is currently my daily and has a very safe tune for waste-gate pressure (8psi) but all the mods are there to easily make more power safely and reliably. The downsides of the car is that the C-pillar linings are missing (were taken out to do work but one was lost and the other broken) and needs new rear window tint (bubbled up due to age), both these issues are roadworthy items and therefore will not come with a roadworthy. Also the gearbox makes a whining noise which I had checked out by a mechanic and he said it is not detrimental to the life of the box, so far it has done this for 10,000km and still works and feels good. I always only put in 98 Octane fuel, the car has dash NO bubbles, Vents aren't broken like in every other R32, Mostly garaged, A/C blows cold air Apart from those issues the car has been absolutely fine and have enjoyed driving it every bit. I am Negotiable on the price but please be sensible. it is truly one of the cleanest R32's I’ve seen and that was the only reason I purchased the vehicle in the first place and I would not even think of selling it if I didn't miss my MX5 so much. I will consider swaps for NB MX5 with cash adjustment either way depending on condition.
  25. Hi, As topic states, I'm in need of a used front mount intercooler kit to suit rb20 / rb25. can be a cheap china hybrid style one. I don't care, as long as it doesn't leak or is too badly damaged. I'll also accept just the pipe kit as I have a core sitting around. It's going on my r32 gtst drifter, so the cheaper the better!
