My current project car is a '92 Supercharged MX5, I've been building it over the past 5 years but sadly its time to move on. Like most, my dream car is an R34, a GTR will always be out of my price range but I would certainly be happy with a GTT. I'd decided the MX5 would be stripped and sold in September when the insurance expires and then start the search for a clean R34. I wouldnt be a true car enthusiast if i wasn't already looking for cars on the interweb with this decision in mind. My fingers were starting to hurt after refreshing various selling and auction sites here and Japan too often. One car I kept being drawn back to was a white Series 2. It ticked all the boxes for what i was looking for, except it was the facelift front bumper that was preventing me from looking deeper into the details. So i messaged the seller and asked for a few more details and photos, very quick responses and the amount of photos asked on request was overwhelming. Was it worth the 7hr round trip to go look at it, to potentially not like it? If it was as clean as it was in the photos, something major must have had been up with it if i was to walk away. Luckily this wasn't the case, infact the car was even better in person. After a test drive and a good poke around i really couldnt fault the car except for a knock on the driver side rear. So with an offer made he accepted and I drove away extremely happy! The 170ish mile drive home was faultless and i look forward to digging in and putting my own stamp on it. hey all. I already have a thread for this in the WTB section but thought I'd put it in the NSW section too since that might make it easier if anyone here has pieces. Mods if this belongs ONLY in the WTB section then feel free to delete the thread. Basically, got my car, have a few bits and pieces - mainly cosmetics that I want to fix up. Here's the list. Located in Sydney, NSW around Hornsby area so am willing to drive a bit to pick up (would have to be weekends) but otherwise am also willing to pay postage - depends how much it costs. Have had some offers but still waiting on pics etc. Armrest centre console lid - my hinge is half snapped Need a new rear driver-side speaker mesh cover in the back, the ones that are on the parcel shelf at the back - Haven't checked if this is removable by itself, so if not, may need an entirely new parcel shelf Driver side rain shield - the clear red colour piece of plastic that sits above the door so you can open some window when it's raining...? If anybody has an aftermarket centre dash console - from the 3 gauges downwards to the stereo area then welcome to show me some pics and make me an offer, I don't quite like the material of the stock console. If anybody has nismo indicators at all, let me know too. if you have any headlights sets/bulbs that you want to sell off, also make me an offer. Rear seat covers - make me an offer OR if you have a set of rear seats for sale also let me know. URGENT SALE: Moving overseas very soon and need the car gone. R34 GTT turbo manual. Have owned the car for almost 2 years, before I purchased it, I had a RACV test on it at 96,650km's where it received a GO rating. I still have the paperwork. As soon as I bought it, had the 100k service done (timing belt, water pump etc) and have had it serviced regularly at performance workshops. I have all the receipts/invoices for everything on it while i have owned it. It hasn't missed a beat. Was serviced last at Chasers on 31st of January 2013 at 108,019km's with fresh motul 8100 oil. (It currently has 108,041km's) I have not abused the car while owning it, never revving it above 3500rpm until the oil has warmed up. I am 28, and drive it maturely. It has the the following bits on it including; -Front mount Intercooler -K&N panel filter -Full exhaust with stainless steel catback -2 way factory electric sunroof I also have a set of 17 inch standard alloys with tyres, along with the 19 inch wheels pictured, all will be included in the sale. I am sure there is alot more I'm forgetting, If you have any questions, please dont hesitate to call me with them. Just please no silly low ball offers without even seeing the car. The price is $12,000 as is, with no registration, as selling a registered car in Vic without a roadworthy is illegal. If you want the car with a RWC and reg the price is $14,900. Regretfully selling my beloved r34, 120,000kms. Lightly and tastefully modded, this car is a perfect starter for anyone looking to buy a well looked after and reliable skyline. Hi Guys/gals, Well I need to sell my car due to the mortgage and I thought I'd post it on here it's always been looked after and well serviced it's completely stock standard bar the hks exhaust and it's never missed a beat and if any serious work was required it was done at justjap in kirrawee. I've had the car since mid 2009 and it had about 60,000km's on the clock and it's just ticked over 112,300km's it's a good clean car which i've kept stock standard as to not get attention from the constabulary. I am the first Australian Owner of this car. Subsequently I have made sure to keep the condition and specifications exactly the same to keep the car 100% JDM. This car has been my absolute child, saying that I have taken care of her religiously feeding her the best fuel (Shell VPower) and the finest oils. Feeling the need to maintain her, I took the liberty to add Four Brand new tyres which still have around 90% tread. FOR SALE: 1999 R34 GTT 5 Speed manual Coupe. Rego till Nov 2014, has 90XXXkm on odometer. Pearl black GV1 + 3M DINOC Carbon fibre pattern wrapped bonnet. I am the second owner since it was imported into Australia in 2010. I purchased this late 2012, and so have had it for 1.5 years. Absolutely love it to bits, and if you see the little details on this car you’ll understand. Always bought best parts possible. Interior is in great condition, there is some scratching on the arm rest console, but the centre console and dash is in great condition – so is trim on the doors etc. All electronics work perfectly fine. Still have original Nissan keys. No log books though. I have receipts of work done and parts bought for the car. A lot of stuff sourced from Japan directly. Never been hassled by police. Tyres are Nitto INVO, had them on since early 2013 and have driven less than 5000km since Altia body kit from factory SAU Sticker on rear quarter window (hahaha) Nismo smoked side indicators Things that may need attention: Paint is fading on the top, seems to be various rainspots of fading too – I think from acid rain in Japan, because also when I had the car there was buildup on all windows which I removed with a product (still have it, forgot name now). Couple of dings on the sides from people opening doors (WHY ARE PEOPLE SO STUPID). Previous owner bumped the rear left, so there’s a chip and bit of panel gap. Gearbox chatter accelerating in 4th gear at 60-65km/h, gone after that – have a written report from JLM that it’s consistent with age of gearbox. Doesn’t affect driving at all. There are a 3 cigarette burns in the seat, either from previous owner or owner in Japan, not me as I don’t smoke (and you can tell if you sit inside the car) ------------------------------------------------ No finance on it. Always serviced on time, have changed spark plugs, oil, gearbox, diff oil, recently. Is a great car to drive, comfortable, stock power but is plenty for street driving really. Plenty of boot space. Can fit 5 people inside (has 3 seatbelts in the back). I’m looking to move onto motorbikes so am making the decision to let this go. Still has flare from Japan!!!! Note: does not come with all the trinkets/accessories in the car - and as you can see I have added a few woodgrain accessories, will remove and/or replace with stock parts upon sale. Asking price is $16500 or Swaps + cash my way for a motorbike (must be LAMS approved), DON’T OFFER ANOTHER CAR Small mods can be parted out (depending on item) just ask me in the thread.
