Hi all, Skippy got me the other day so I'm in need of a few parts if anyone has something gathering dust in a shed and can help out. The list includes - Front Reo - Front Bumper - Drivers Side Headlight(with bracket) - Drivers Side Combination Light - Windscreen Washer Bottle The car is Silver but I'm not racist so any colour bumper will do and my other headlight more resembles a yellowing fog light so the condition of that doesn't matter either. I'm in Adelaide but am more than willing to pay for postage, no need to send a bumper first class tho, 'reasonable' is the key word for today! I'm after a cheap LHS headlight assembly from a V35. Don't need ballast and it doesn't matter if it has condensation/yellowing etc. PM me if you have something, Brisbane proffered.

Hi, I have a S1 260RS Stagea and have Xenons in the car. They are Xenons/HID for both highbeam and normal beams. Im not sure if they are a genuine Nissan item or after market. How do i tell? The issue is; i turn my headlights on and while im driving even over bumps and railway tracks etc the headlights stay on and solid even though i have lowered suspension. However when i hit the brakes and the front end dips the drivers side head light starts to flicker and sometimes turns off. The harder i brake the greater the chance the light turns off. Also, it seems that once the headlights have been on for some time the light seems to resist the braking action more. So i have to brake harder to get the light to turn off but it still flickers under light braking. When the lights are cold even the slightest braking action manages to turn it off. Any ideas on what is causing this? it drives me nuts

Hi all, Has anyone seen this issue: headlights cut out as you indicate. Only happens sometimes, and when it does, I can indicate real slow and get the headlights to go out and stay out until I either turn the indicator on fully or let go of the stalk What I've tried I have tried 3 x indicator stalk assemblies, and the problem has occurred with halogen and HID headlights (had both). It's a strange one... hopefully someone has an idea! cheers DaveB

M35 Headlight standard/E-code question So because I'm a sucker for punishment, I want to bring a car into Canada that was never brought to my continent and has an engine that never left Japan. As a daily while I work on a build. Specifically, a 250t RS FOUR V. Because we have some interesting import laws here, I'm wondering if any of you can let me know if the M35 headlights have an E-Code marking anywhere on the housing? Specifically the E in a circle as shown in the pictures attached. I'm almost certain they don't, but it's worth a shot. If not, does anyone know of any headlight assemblies from other models of cars that may/will fit without serious fab work, and ideally won't look terrible? Thanks all. ----- EDIT It looks like the Xenon headlights are marked as DOT compliant on the ballasts, so I may be able to get those passed and get new internal assemblies or reverse the internals for the cutoffs. I'm still curious as to if the assemblies (especially the halogens) are marked with E-codes though.

Ok, I searched on here, didn't see much at all tbh. I just changed over the sealed beam headlight I had on my bike to an LED unit [had to buy a new lens as well, but nothing wrong with my old lens] and the difference was very impressive..so thought I might do the same for the Skyline. I also had a look on ebay and there were so many LED headlight 'globes' it was overwhelming. Most promise a gazillion watts/lumens/K but all look pretty much the same - admittedly some have little fans, others have heatsinks on the arse end, some have rats tail H4 connections, others the spade H4 straight off the back...………..but I have no idea if these changes are better or worse. And it looks like you can get a pair of LED's for around $30 [and certainly under $50] delivered, so cheap really. I am still using normal halogen bulbs, with the yellowish, not so bright light and so thought I'd try an 'upgrade'. I know others have used 'white light' globes from the likes of Phillips etc that cost more than they are worth and I'm not that keen to go down that path anyway. I also bought a HID kit years ago...and then never ever fitted it, its still brand new in the box [probably need to sell I guess]. BTW on the operating temp, there was a great test done by a guy on a motorcycle forum where he tested a normal globe, a Halogen globe, and an LED [with little fan] setup using an infrared temp gun and the LED came out way cooler all round. That has to be a good thing. And finally { I have no idea on this] is it legal?? I can't see why not if they are a direct replacement, offer the same or better light, and operate much cooler than halogens anyway. So does anyone have any experience at LEDs on a vehicle? What did you end up with? And was it a better light?

Hey guys Got a brand new set of Aftermarket headlights for Nissan Skyline V35 350GT Coupe with Halo rings and DRL in Black housing. Bought them from japan and not Ebay so they are 100% legal for RHD vehicles (boxes have instructions to install in japanese) Asking for $690 ono Pics for illustration only, i have not even opened the actual boxes. hey ive been looking for ages im wanting to know what sorta globes are used in my headlights its a r32 gts4 but has gtr projector headlights just wanna know what globe type the low beam is so i get the right set ive taken the globe out but nothing is said about what sort of globe it actually is any help would be great... R33 Headlights questions Hello all. After a few minutes of search on the forum, I don't find some informations thath I need (or I don't used right keywords). My questions are: 1: What are differences between R33 headlights spec1, spec2 and spec3? what differences? they are all compatible on all r33? or the mounts change? 2: For the Xenon and Hid Headlight, the headlight level is automatic or manual electronic? (if you have high load on the trunk, it corrects the level automatically?) 3: For the Xenon, someone has the dimensions? HELP: I would like a Step by Step on how to remove/install V35 Coupe Headlights Hey gurus! '05-6 V35 350GT Coupe I am in need of some help. I've got myself some new Headlights (full assembly) and cannot for the life of me find realiable Step by Step instructions on how to change them. All I find is Infinity G35 ones and someone said that they are different. Any help as soon as possible would be awesome! Cheers!

Objective to open r32 headlight to respray headlight cover black. The oven trick worked perfectly, for best result make sure oven is preheated for 10-15min on 200degrees Step 2: turn off oven and place headlight in oven for 10-15min Step 3: use screw driver at one corner and work your way around removing the housing Step 4: when glass is removed, un screw the cover step 5: "IN PROGRESS" Use sand blaster to remove chrome or sand paper Then respray. Before: clear After: black

My car is fitted with Series 3 xenon headlights, which the vehicle inspectors dont like for some stupid reason other than being a dick. So i need a pair of stock Series 2 R33 GTR headlights, I've had a bit of a look around and can only find lights for around the $1, 300 mark, i only want the stock lights to get the damn defect sticker off so im not looking to pay anywhere near that amount for em, any suggestions?

G'day guys, Just throwing it out there if anyone would light customized headlights? I can split, clean the lenses inside and out. Polished and paint the surrounds any colour you want, install LED's etc. And can supply most suspension bushes and/or fit for wa guys as well (: compression bushes, control/camber arm bushes. (: lemme know if there's any interest. Have done a couple with/ for friends so though I'd see if its something people would want. cheers guys kohbz

are the grill mounts detachable for the n1 headlamps? or are they moulded to the housing? iv seen some n1 types that have the mounts and some doesnt have it..
