R33 Silicon Hose Kits Suck! It seems to me most Skylines have an aftermarket hose kit fitted. I have purchased a cheap kit from eBay and found two hoses don't fit anywhere and about 6 hoses haven't been supplied. When I look around at other kits they all seem to have the same pieces. What's going on? Does anyone make a complete hose kit? My RB25DET is stock with carbon canister fitted. I want to replace all air/water hoses except the biggest induction hoses. Any help appreciated.

Hi all, deleted the bov recirc and oil breather - the two pipes the connect to the turbo intake pipe. I have blocked them with bungs. Now wondering where do I put the hose that goes to the boost controller/solenoid. As the nipple it used to connect to was on of the pipes that I removed. Where’s the best place to put it? T it with something else or drill a hole in the intake and put it there? Thanks

I have had coolant poor down from behind the engine somewhere and passing down onto the ground generally when the car gets to temperature. . Rather than replace heater hoses which i think is the issue. I want to delete the heater all together. Is it a big job?

Hi all, Does anyone know what the thread and pitch size is for the Heater hose (return I think?) fitting/attachment that threads into the block. I assume all RBs have the same thread on these? I've uploaded a pic of it (block is upside down). It sits on the intake side near the top rear of the block. I'm doing up a RB30/25. As we all know, you have to swap out the RB30 one and put the 25 one in there because the 25 has only 1 barbed outlet for the heater hose. I had to grind the old one out of the RB30 with a dremel because it was rusted on there so badly, and thinking the RB25 one will be the same, I just want to get a brand new one. If anyone could tell me the thread and pitch size of this fitting (or even better, the Nissan part number!) that would be much appreciated for me and everyone els looking for this in the future, because I've tried googling, and googling and nothing. Hey guys, hope you’re all good. I have an obnoxious sounding vacuum leak somewhere under my throttle body. It’s very bad and throws out the car terribly, so it’s off the road and I’m addressing ASAP. There is no issue around the TB itself and I don’t see any kind of issue around the fuel rail or injector seats, so I’m assuming it may actually be either the upper plenum gasket, the lower inlet manifold gasket, or perhaps an idle control hose underneath the manifold somewhere. To the point of my thread - if I can not locate any obvious leak, I will be pulling off the intake to replace the gaskets. Should I get so far as to pulling off the lower intake, I was just wondering if anyone had tips or advice to share? Specifically regarding how and what to disconnect in regards to coolant hoses, vacuum hoses, etc, and if there are any tricks to any of the bolts? Ive searched extensively on this topic but most threads only cover the upper plenum and I’m looking for any general helpful tips to removing the whole thing. So far my plan is to remove the TB, the fuel rail, then upper plenum - raise the front of the car up and just see what I can attack from the bottom. Assume that’s the best method? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if correct place admin please move if needed. Half way through a RB25DET neo into R32 swap and needing to replace the heater and other hoses. from what i can gather the RB25DET Neo heater hoses are what i need but please correct me if i am wrong. apart from OEM what options are out there. i have found Misc eBay ones mainly listing RB26 or R33 25 and JJR do not list a Neo kit.

So... Does anyone have advice on how to best attack replacing this hose? I guess I just start pulling things off until I can get to it

I just found out the reason that previous owner modified the A/C high pressure hose from the A/C pump is because the steering pump higher pressure hose interferes with my Greddy aftermarket radiator. The A/C high pressure hose has been leaking forever due to poor welding, now I just want to replace with a new OEM piece. How do you guys deal with the interference between steering pump hose and radiator? Note: I already have twin SPAL electric fans, I think I can play around the position and get away.

See pic. I re-routed my catch can hose as below. The hose i'm using is standard heater hose rated to 125 degrees. Yes i know it's not the correct hose i should be using. Question is, is it safe in the location I've routed it (circled in yellow). There are what i think are power steering/fuel lines in that location and i'm not sure how hot they get or if i'm putting myself in danger. Please advise before i end up with a car on fire....... For sale an R34 GTT coupe steering rack with around 80,000kms on it, off a 1998 car. – $90 3. For sale used leaky Driftworks braided oil cooler hoses with crimped AN10 fittings, for spares – $50 4. These coil packs are not new or perfect, but run ok. I reckon these would suit a low boost car fine (I'm running 20psi+). Reason for sale is changing over to Splitfires. Full disclosure: I've always had a niggly misfire in the car - hiccups on idle - and looks like it's still there with the new Splitfires too, maybe a touch better, go figure.. The resistance values are 1.53, 1.54, 1.51, 1.57, 1.54 and 1.57 so it's a very even set. Asking $150 ono – a new set is of Yellow Jackets $400 shipped. Melbourne inner north, pickup preferred. All dust boots are in good nic and there's very little play in the rack ends so should be good for spares, too. I bought this off another forum member but it wouldn't bolt up in my R34 GTT 4door, so there must be a difference between the coupe and the sedan? The fittings need a good clean. Caveat emptor: These hoses leak at the straight end, so you'll need to replace those two crimped hose end fittings. Standard Speedflow etc. AN10 fittings won't do because this hose OD is larger than the Speedflow AN10 hose. Not worth much so let's try $50? Pick up only, Melbourne inner north.
