  1. hey guys very new to this forum, i have a question and thought i would asked someone with proper knowledge. but, i was wondering if it would be legal to put an rb30 into a hr31 import (rb20det). would it be easily allowed by the registry office. thankyou for your help... James Richards
  2. EOI on the 240km cluster I have in my coupe currently. These things are hard to come by and I searched high and low for a long time to find one that I could get my hands one one before someone else did. Only thinking of selling because I am developing some OCD with my coupe and keeping parts original to the shell. In great condition for its age few marks on the plastic cover but nothing bad. Coupe of globes that are out witch I didn't check before installing it, the boost gauge doesn't work (been originally non turbo) I had volts not boost, the spedo doesn't work but I have a broken spedo cable from the conversion, and the only iffy one is the oil pressure witch its been funny on both clusters. Also note i didn't have the car running long before taking the pic, so the water temp gauge works too. The cluster has to come out If fix it or sell it onto someone that has been looking for one so I have decided to throw the factory one back in when the time comes. Still currently in the car and I wont be attempting to pull it out until someone buys it or she runs out of rego in the second week of June. Located SA happy to post at buyers expense. I will wrap it with an inch of its life but if you choose not to get insurance/damage protection I wont be held accountable if something happens. $450 pretty firm on price too.   4. Have two rb25 engines in pieces. Was going to rebuild into one good one but lost motivation. Parts are Ono. Good rb25 head. Complete with cams, covers, cam gears (random adjustable intake gear) Bolt onto a 30 bottom end and away you go. $200 Average rb25 head. Gunky needs a clean and check. Comes with cams, no covers or gears $100 Rb25 block x 2. $50 each Rb25 crank x 2. $50 each S1 standard coilpacks with loom and brackets. $100 Rb25 sump x 2. $30 each rb25 oil pump. $40 Rb20/25 exhaust manifold x 2. $50 each rb25 inlet manifold. Complete minus injectors. $50 S2 rb25 arm. Worked great, upgraded to z32. $80 Rb20/5 cross over pipe with bob. $50 each Turbosmart boost T $30 HKS SSQ bob. $30 Gktech s13 extended lower control arms. 9 mm longer over standard s13 arms complete and less than 500km use. Great for a track cars to get the extra track. $250 Gktech 4-5 stud 15mm conversion spacers. $80 Rb25 short shifter. $50 Hr31 weather shields. Awesome condition for their age. One slight crack in the plastic, clips still intact. $400 firm Can get picks on request. Can post smaller items at buyers expense. Located in SA in the Adelaide hills. Pie me for more info. Legend Jim Richards talks about racing the HR 31 GTS-R back in the day, and then gives his impressions after driving it again at Calder Park...   13. Hi there, I have a hr31 and I'm looking to replace the igniter and coil pack loom. When I search the part number from the igniter in my car it comes up with a 300zx zr32. I read that the zr32 and red top igniter are the same. Is this true? And if so will that work on a silver top engine or should I buy a different one? Any help would be great i just want to make sure I'm buying the correct thing. (I'm not sure what loom is in the car but I'm assuming if the igniter is for a red top then its the original one also has the red top ecu)

  15. Have had this car for nearly 10 years and when we bought it is was standard. Engine / engine bay Approx 15,000kms after reco 10 years ago. Mahle forged pistons Cometic head gasket Oil pump mod ASR baffle/doored sump Oil cooler Power steer cooler PWR radiator and spal fan Motec M84 cost $3000 M & W CID ignition cost $1100 Garrett 30/76 with .92 rear housing Modified factory intake with Ford falcon throttle body 840cc sard injectors. Intank walbro pump which feeds surge tank with 2 fuel filters and a Bosch Motorsport 044 pump for main fuel supply Insight Motorsport Custom Cam’s and adjustable cam gears. Titanium retainers and double valve springs. Rebuild rb25 gearbox Makes 330rwkw (440hp) @ 17psi on 98 fuel We picked up 70kw on th same boost with the cam upgrade. I haven’t run more than 17psi as with the tyres size on the race track it’s hard enough to get the power down. The engine, turbo, pistons and cooling system would definitely handle more power especially with the good ECU and Ignition system it has. Suspension/Brakes/chassis S13 front suspension conversion Fabricated brackets for adjustable caster rods Ksport coilovers all round Ksport brakes Fronts 8 pistion 365mm rotors Rears 6 piston 330mm rotors Solid rear subframes bushes Hicas deleted and vanes removed from pump Hyundai tie rod ends to allow more thread in tie rod. Rebuilt r200 diff with extra clutch plates. Works great! Wheel alignment specs Front 3.5 degree neg 7 degree caster 3mm total toe out Rear 2 degree neg 0mm toe Body and interior R31 house front bar and lip Forget the name of the side skirts and rear skirt Has good paint however over the years of close racing it has stone chips on the front end. But still present very well. six point cage. All tig welded. Back seats don’t fit but have been stuffed back in to looks like it’s factory. 2 bride seats. Has engineers report however I don’t know where it is anymore and it didn’t include the cage and brakes. I never planned on selling this car and was working towards making it a race car only. It’s still has full rego and plates are included. please call or text 0415292220.
