  1. Hi ther! First off, i wil apolegise for my english wiritng skills so if you have problems with ppl that can't spell for shit, stop reading now! Ok so now to my problems, I own a Stagea c34 RS4 1997 mod rb25det Automatik (not sure if car is s1 or s2 but know the engien is s2) Im trying to figure out what shoks and springs i can use on my car, i know ther is a post for this but it was not spesefied if it was a 2wd or 4wd or if it was auto or not. I have goten som "info" wher it have been "i think its this" but dosent realy cut it for me. What im looking for is 40mm 40mm lowering springs and dampers (not coilovers) And brakes that fits the car, not upgraded brakes but original, need to know witch car i can get parts from (Stagea dos not exisit in any database wher i live) Sorry if i have written this a bit backwords or realy comfusing! Hope somone is abel to help!
  2. hey guys was looking into lowering my R34 when i ran into a few problems. Im running 10.5" rear tyres and 9.5" fronts. Now, because the front tyre has ben stretched to fit the rim (rim pokes slighty out of the tyre) the front wishbone rubs on the INSIDE of the rim at full lock (refer to picture). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how i can lower the car and avoid any further contact with the wishbone? ideally spacers is an option but dont want the wheels to look ridiculous sticking too far out of the gaurds. ive attatched a few photos you can refer to if im not quite making sense, cheers guys
  3. Hi,have just bought a M35 2002 300 RX. Looking to fill the wheel arches and lay it down. Had a look for a wheel section but to no avail. New to forums altogether sorry. Thinking 18x9.5 or 10 if possible. And super lows etc. Any advice from the members would be much appreciated. Cheers
  4. Hi I need the help of someone who has removed a GTR box before. I have gotten to the stage of removing the box, however when I got to rotate the box, to lower the starter motor bump I can only rotate 20-30 degrees. Then the box starts to bind up in the tunnel with the box starting to hit on the left side and the metal where the gear selector hole is on the right. The guides indicate to rotate from anywhere from 45 to upside down. Do I need to lower the box/engine more? If so how far, do you just let it drop until it stops wanting to drop? Also do you undo engine mounts or is only undoing the intercooler pipes required? Thank you for anyone that can assist. Peter
  5. hi all, was just wondering if anyone could recommend and coilovers for a year 2000 nissan skyline R34 N/a. Ive been told from numerous sources that the suspension set up for an N/a is different from a GTT R34 so using coilovers that fit in a GTT wont fit in my N/a. Can anybody confirm this?
  6. Springs/Suspension Shop Stuff Around Hello experts, So in short, I've vowed to take the lowering spring/shock combo over the coilovers option and have weighed this up and researched it for ages. So that's that out of the way before anyone recommends coilovers for my daily driver. I'd had my car booked in to fit 50mm lowering springs (Kings) and some work done to custom fit a Venom 5"cat," for two weeks now, only to get a call the night before to say they don't make springs to drop 50mm and would have to get 30mm's and compress them, taking weeks and more $$$ and generally frustrating me. Im now thinking about sourcing my own springs (Tein S Techs) but the drop rate is very vague - 15 to 50mm. I'd also stumbled across these in my research and was wondering if anyone had any experience between the two: http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/performance/coilover-suspension-kits/car/nissan/skyline-r34-gt-t/tein-street-advance-coilover-suspension-kit-lowers-front-35-55mm-and-lowers-rear-25-45mm Ideally, I've chosen my lowering path and honestly didn't think it was going to be this hard to just lower my car up to 50mm. What are my options in your opinion, sticking with a springs/shock option. Source my own springs and supply? Different brand of springs supply by them? FYI the quote I got: $210 per set for springs, up to $330 in labour to fit because they have to go through the back seats and up to $150 to custom fit my 5" venom cat (welding required, flanges don't match) - up to $900 total.
  7. Lowering GTT Coupe / Coils & Springs Alright gents, I need some genuine advice on something that must've been covered 1,000 times and I'm still hearing two arguments after doing some reading for the past two hours. Objective: lower my stock R34 GT-T to maximum legal limit (legit, it's like a patrol at the moment) Budget: $800-$1000 including install Want: lowered look with comfort but not wanting race-quality stuff. Car is a daily and I do a lot of highway driving Conflict: springs are cheap and will lower to what I want but will kill my shocks. Coilovers are great but don't necessarily want to spend 2k on suspension just for a daily Really really unsure which way to go here, but I see a ton of lowered 33's around my town and they all go springs/shocks and have no complaints. I'm smart enough to know that the poor man pays twice so I need some suggestions with the above information. Is there an in the middle option between spending bugger all on lowered springs to achieve what I want then getting smashed around and paying later for it, and entry level coilovers that'll probably do things I don't necessaryily need them to do? Thoughts?
