  1. Hey everyone, Just posting this ad for a friend of mine, i've just copied and pasted what's written on his add. FS or SWAP: 2000 HSV VX Clubsport 6sp Manual Gen 3 LS1 5.7L V8 BUILD No. 007 K's: 141*** (genuine k's, low for a car of it's age) Colour: RARE Storm Grey Comments: Third owner from new, all original paperwork and documents including full service history, books and original purchase documents from HSV. Only modification on the car is a 2.5" X-Force exhaust from cat-back (not too loud and has a nice deep note). Car has been previously dynoed with just under 200rwkw and 500nm torque. Car has always been looked after during current ownership being washed weekly as well as being serviced regularly. It will pass a RWC/Regency inspections as tyres, rotors and pads are all under 8000km's old. Also has an aftermarket Fusion head unit and DVD player with flip down screen (roof down installed by previous owner) as well as high quality Kicker KS60 rear coaxials and 6.5" Clarion front component speakers with tweeters (professionally installed during current ownership). Since purchasing the car I have replaced all oils and fluids and have replaced the water pump with a genuine GM part (a common replacement for LS1 engines). REGO QOW693 till June 2014 (VIC rego).   4. Hi Thanks to anyone who has taken the time to think about my cars issue. Below are the mods done to my car in a little more detail but firstly im asking if anyone has experienced a similar issue to me and what you have done to resolve it. Secondly if anyone has any suggestions on the next step in the process then im also interested to hear it! My car has developed a misfire, actually its more like a hard cut rev limiter at about 5200rpm if under load. At idle or lighter load it can rev higher. The wideband indicates the AFR is not changing when the problem starts. The plugs all look fine. Fuel pressure is available (checked while under load on dyno). Symptoms are the same no matter what gear its in. Already Tried: Checking Plugs, replaced, and gapped them progressively tighter until getting as low as 0.3. Replaced with Iridium plugs at .8, then refit new copper at .6 - No change. New Coil Packs - No Change New Leads - No change New injectors - No Change New Crank Angle Sensor (checked with timing light to top dead) - No change Disconected turbo compressor from intake to test with no boost. - no change Some more details about the car. built motor, T04Z Turbo - no maf sensors Haltech Platinum 2000 Ls1 Coilpacks huge fuel system Im sure ive left out some key info however ill come back and add anything the moment i remember it.
  5. Hey guys, I have for sale an LS1 swap kit for an R34 Skyline. I originally bought it for my 25GT as an alternative to buying a turbo model but unfortunately the kit outlived the car and I've since moved on to a Silvia so have no need for this stuff any more. The kit is top-notch quality made by Fueled Racing in Phoenix, Arizona, guys did an absolutely amazing job putting this thing together. Comes with everything you'd reasonably need to fit an LS1, including headers, engine mounts, custom oil pan, transmission mounts and a single-piece drive shaft, as well as a few other odds and ends. The kit makes use of an S-chassis k-frame for better oil pan clearance and is backed by a 4L60E automatic transmission. Have a tonne of emails from the guys at Fueled detailing the ins and outs of the kit that can be provided if you need but the kit is mostly self-explanatory,what you see is what you get. Unsure as to whether the kit can be utilised in other vehicles, might fit an R33 or Stagea if you're lucky but buy at your own risk. Headers should in theory bolt up to most LS models but can't confirm this. I'm located in Melbourne, Victoria, local pick-up is preferred but can probably organise shipping at buyer's expense. Chasing $3800 but am open to negotiation, would rather not split up the kit if I can help it but hit me up and we can work something out.
  6. Set of brand new Ls1 Haltech coil packs, with custom MSD leads to suit RB. Intended to put on my GTR but wasn't required. Comes with stainless bracket to mount on the injector plate. Package is $550, can arrange postage if needed. Pm if interested, Cheers,
  7. When i first purchased my r33 in November of 2010 it was in a somewhat sad state of affairs, faded (and in parts peeling) gunmetal paint covered the majority of its vulnerable body. The car itself was a 93 E-Ecr33 (that's right folks she's a type S ) and like all type S cars was powered by the non turbo variant of the rb25 and backed by the odd 5 speed auto jatco box. So in short it wasn't exactly a speed demon. It looked something like this when i picked it up (don't let the polish fool you the paint was bad): It wasn't long before i got sick of looking at the horrible flaking off paint and tool the car down to Steve at wrapture stylings and got him to wrap the top half of the car in black (god those rims are bad) After getting sick of being teased left right and centre by practically everyone for the dinner plate chromies (18x7 +43 ) I sourced a set of rims off boost cruising and a week later they were on the car (they look like Veilside Andrews, but are probley fake, I have no idea). Somewhere along the line I picked up a series 2 boot as well. A few months past and after over 220k and multiple trips past that 7k mark on the tacho the poor little rb screamed no more and decided to spin one of the big end bearings, the car remained stationary for over six months while trying to source an engine and after eventually finding one was transplanted into the car over a couple weekends (with more beer consumed then I'd like to think health and safety would approve of). *note nismo sticker for more killerwasps Using the forces of sheer luck the motor started and ran like a dream, this was followed shortly after with another trip down to Wrapture for a full body wrap in chilli red vinyl: Which brings us to September 2012, when after a trip home from power cruise resulted in a very blown up auto and me stuck in 3rd gear limping home, by this stage you can imagine my frustration with this car. But, this broken gearbox became the catalyst that would eventually result in "The Abomination" (as dubbed by SAU Qld) being built. Within weeks I had decided I was through breaking Nissan products and thought I'd start trying to break a few bits of GM gear instead. So it was off to eBay where I sourced a vz ls1 (which proved more costly then first imagined) and a 4l60e auto gearbox to be transplanted into my unsuspecting r33: *part two coming soon
