Hi all, I've got a few parts lying around that I no longer require. Located at Newmarket/Ascot Vale area. Prefer pick up at this stage but may post some items later down the track. WTB: R200 Diff backlash adjustment shims Hi all, Rebuilding my diff and need some shims to reduce the amount of backlash. Will try nissan spare parts tomorrow, but maybe someone has a collection? Shims needed are 2.60, 2.65 and 2.15, but I would be happy if you had one or all sizes. BTW> these arent the shims used to lock the diff, these are the big metal rings that go next to the diff bearings (like the pic). Pickup in VIC or will pay for express ship. thnx. Adrian.,

Just got offered R200 diff,i know that its 4.08 ratio diff,it came from S14,but seller cant tell what brand is that 2 way LSD,anybody can tell what brand it is?by Google it looks close to Nismo,but not sure,thats all the pictures i got:

350Z LSD in R34 Hey all, Fair warning, this might be an incredibly dumb question as I'm only just getting into the whole car modification scene and don't know much about how everything works, but I'm looking to get an LSD for my 25GT. Unfortunately the amount of info on this topic isn't so much scarce as just contradictory, some people say a GTT's will fit, others anything from the 33 side of things, an S15's might etc. I recently came across a 350Z LSD (I wanna say R200) and accompanying axles, my question is this: could I feasibly swap all this into my R34? I've heard the 350 has considerably stronger axles due to a ball and cage design so I guess that's a bonus, but I assume the bolt patterns on my current axles won't mate to the 350's LSD housing, hence the need to swap those out as well. Any thoughts on this'd be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys, when full locking my r32 gtr shutters like crazy as if it has a locked diff. It has fresh oil and I've also put in an additive to stop the clutches from sticking. I'm not sure if it could be because of my other problem with my awd, which I wrote up in another post >

My 34 has the shit auto optioned diff that chicken wings the minute you turn a corner, will the 33 lsd Centre go in the 34 housing, or am I stuck looking for a 34 lsd? Also, what skyline came with a torsen/helicaal Centre?

Cusco RS 1.5way centre in a r200 housing out of a r33 gtst 4.11 gears 5 bolt shafts and hubs to suit. Shafts are freshly rebuilt After $1200 for it all. Not negotiable. No swaps.

hi, recently bought a new diff centre for my skyline (s2 33 gtst) the guy said its out of a 33, it was out of a s14 i assume, the issue is that the diff i bought and have put in doesnt have the abs sensor hole so my abs light is on, i like things to be right and i dont want the light on so is it possible to swap the 2way center out of the s chassis housing, and put it into my stock housing ? the second issue is the new diff has 4;3 and clearly my stock is 4;1 so i would need to change the crown wheel gear over onto the 2way centre right ? so my theory was, un bolt the 2 way out the s14 housing, mark the 33 crown wheel gear, take the 33 centre out, swap the gear onto the 2 way and bolt it back in, will this work ? providing i get the gear exactly back in the same spot to avoid getting weird wear on the gears. btw its a nismo 2 way. any help would be much appreciated!!

Does anyone know if the above motul oil above would result in a quieter mechanical diff? Firstly, I have an OS Giken Mechanical LSD diff which had Redline LWSP in it and it was clunky as hell in cold. Fine when warmed up on track. Bought Motul Gear Comp 75W140 to replace the redline today and replaced it just then. It is slightly less clunky than the redline cold. Haven't tested in hot temps but I'm sure figure it will be sweet. Then I saw the FF-LSD Type 2 rated at 75W90 but it says the magical words: "Mechanical" and wondered if this one would be quieter in the cold and for street driving and not clunk the crap out of pedestrians. Will there be any difference? Is there less friction in the FF-LSD for a quieter drive? School me please. Funnily enough, the 75W140 is cheaper than the FF-LSD Type 2. Anyone have experience with both?

Can anyone tell me by looking at the photo what type of differential is inside this casing? I need it to be LSD and 4.111. I have been told by the seller that is from an R33. As you can see from the picture it has 5 bolt axles and 4 bolt drive shaft. Does the part number on top mean anything or is manually checking the only way to know (i have to drive 2 hours, so would prefer to know before i drive 4hrs round trip and it not be what im looking for).

Hi guys. I know this might has been asked a thousand times but I just did not find a good answer. Just forgive me and give me an answer please, thanks. So I just bought a Cusco RS LSD for my r33 gtst and am finding the proper oil for it. Iread cusco doesn't recommond full syn oil for its lsds. However penrite seems to only offer full syn lsd oils in its pro gear range. What oil should I use? Should I go penrite's normal diff oil(the green label ones) or somethings else? Better to be something I can find in Autobarn or SCA. Also, what viscosity do you suggest? The car is a basically street car. Kinglake about twice a month. Thank you all in advance.

Leaking R35 GTR Front Differential Hey guys, Ive recently purchased my first GTR, its a 2010 model and my mechanic has found a small leak from the front diff...normally this wouldn't be a huge issue but we cant for the life of us find out where its coming from. The parts diagram I have attached shows where the leak originates from, none of the areas of the diff that have any kind of gasket or seal are wet, it seems to simply start out of nowhere and then run towards the diff snout, its been cleaned a couple of times and the leak comes back. If it was a crack or a break it would have demolished the diff case by now surely? Is it possible the aluminium housing has become porous? Any ideas/thoughts/experiences are appreciated

hello! i finally got my r33 gtr, and the first thing i would like to do is a fluid change. i was doing a little research and was wondering if anyone has tried using the cusco lsd oil? the fluids meet the gl5 80-90 spec, so i am assuming it should work. i've had good experiences with cusco in the past, but wondered if anyone here had tried this specific fluid, and if so, what was the experience like? cheers!

Hey Guys, Bought my R33 a while back and its gradually developed a shudder whenever i turn a tight corner at low speed. I understand that this is LSD locking up but should it normally shudder so hard? Also the guy i brought it off said its a Nismo diff, i don't know anything else about it. I did a bit of research and found out that the oil could cause the diff to lock up hard. So i brought some 85-140 lsd diff oil but the shudder is still there. Not sure what to do next, any help highly appreciated!

Thought I would post up my thoughts from my last track day on Wednesday @ the QR sprints Previously every track day I have been to in my V35 I have always left the car in D mode with the PWR button pressed as the triptronic mode was far too laggy to be of any use I recently had the transgo shift kit installed and was interested to see what sort of a difference it would make I found that there were some pros and cons when it comes to trying to get your quickest time with the shift kit fitted compared to stock The kit was good in the fact that I could drive the car like a manual in triprtonic mode and actually benefit from some sort of engine braking + the shifts happened for the most part in triptronic mode when I wanted them to unlike how the auto box behaves when its stock I also managed to shave .16 off my best lap time however the improvement is somewhat on the small side that it could be attributed to a number of factors other than the shift kit The negative, although I considered it more fun than negative was that the harder/faster shifts turned the car into a powerslide machine if I wasn't careful or more so if I wanted it to when shifting from 2nd to 3rd. This was with 245 Toyo R888 semi slicks on the back not so good for lap times however I'm half keen to take the car to a Friday night drift session with some stocko 17's on the back given how easy it was to slide with the semi slicks on Don't forget I am running an LSD unlike 99.999% of the other auto V35s out there

Hello ladies and gents! After any advice as to what is needed to make a 32 diff fit into a 34 gtr. I have removed my stock A-LSD and driveshafts, and have purchased a 32 diff with 32/33 non vspec shafts. I did some reading and read some accounts of spacers being required, new bolts different lengths etc. anyone with first hand experience able it’s shed some light? cheers!
