G,day all Big thanks to everyone for your help and info on how to measure clutch bearing carrier. My next question with all the measurements done i am unsure what size would best suit what i need. With the carrier fork pushed back against the gearbox and the clutch attached with the bearing held in place on the fingers and the 2mm for sandwich plate i have come up with the figure of 29mm between the fork and the bearing. With this measurement what would be a recommended size bearing carrier? Should there be a few mm of play or a lot of play between the bearing and fingers? I guess my concern is if it is too close it will always be touching the fingers and it will push the fingers too far when engaging the clutch pedal or too far away and the clutch wont disengage. any help is greatly appreciated and if anyone has any suitable carriers for sale let me know.
