Hi I know this issue has been discussed many times however I haven’t seen anything recently and was wondering if anyone has got OBDII or equivalent to work on their M35 Stagea (mines 2003)? Basically I am hoping to run Torque (Android App) to get engine codes, live engine information etc. Anybody? Thanks

Just read the codes and got; P0150 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor I) P0151 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor I) P0160 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 2) P0162 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 3) Is bank2 driver or passenger side? Are there really 3 sensors per bank, so 6 in total? (dafuq?) Given that they all happen to be on one side, i'm guessing its wiring.

Using aux input for obd2 diagnostic Hi guys, I have been researching on this site, and have gotten a few plans, but I'm just not sure if it will work. Will it be possible to connect an obd2 link (thinking HKS OB-LINK) with an android device, and use Torque app to display the information? Then run that through the aux input of the navigation system to come through the popup screen, as I would rather use it for diagnostics then something as basic as fuel economy. I am looking for an end result like the picture attached (from an r35) Thanks Lachlan

R34 and OBD2 Oi oi Just a quick question... and I'm really after just a straight yes or no answer on this... I'm looking at buying a gift for somebody I know who owns an R34 GTT - one of those OBD 2 Head Up Displays, much like this: https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/obdii-car-head-display/ (revs, speed, temp, alerts, etc). I know the R34s predate 2007, and therefore don't conform to the OBDII standard (even though the 'standard' is actually three different protocols). But I know the R34s have the Consult port. My question is... if I buy one of those adaptors on eBay to connect the OBD device to the Consult port, will the HUD work as intended? Peace.

Hi All, OK, its not my Skyline, but rather the daily I need help on today and am getting nowhere with the rest of the internet, so here it goes. I have a 2003 BMW 325i and cannot get my OBD2 reader to talk with the car. I previously used a Bluetooth unit with a phone app that worked in the past. Then when it stopped working I tried different apps with no luck. I then bought a hand held unit (Thzy brand, and no you probably have never heard of it) and it won’t link up either. It tries and eventually shows an error message in connecting. The unit itself works as it gets power from the car and I can check the battery voltage, but that’s it. I’ve checked every fuse for the car and all are fine. The internet also suggested I try unplugging sensors 1 by 1 and trying to connect as this somehow would show a dead sensor and it can connect therefore (don’t know why). I even took the airbox off to get better access to anything that looked like a sensor. No luck there either. Im out of ideas; why wont this thing talk! What else can I try?? Thanks.

DIY OBD Display Hi All, So, my Bora uses an OBD2 protocol that is quite rare and most commercial scanners, displays and tools don't support it. Its KW 1281 and its an Audi/VW protocol. I can get it to work with laptop software (VAGCom) but I want some small display in the car so I can monitor some things that I have fixed to confirm they are no longer a problem (mainly cooling / water temp.) I have found a few DIY arduino-based solutions which I might try. Heres one; http://dduino.blogspot.com.au/2013/04/obduino-project.html Have any of you guys made one of these? To add support for a different protocol is that likely to be a code change or hardware? Or, is anybody aware of another cut-price solution for a display like this? Thanks all.
