Just wondering what would be the best to go for? Good to go under parents name? 21 years old, no crash history but have never had insurance previously... Drive a fairly stock r34 gtt.

Its been a while since I was last on here...not a lot has changed haha The time has come where I cannot justify (economically) running my skyline. $1000 a year in rego and a tad less in insurance (full comp) burns a hole in my pocket when realistically I do not drive it often enough to enjoy it. This is not a decision which I have taken lightly (it was my first car back in 2004) and I will in no way get back the money I have put into it (probably $20,000 over the 11 years of ownership). Anyway - I'm after some advice of what I should be asking. Garrett GT3076R 0.82 A/R Turbo 3 inch metal intake pipe to turbo Trust VSPL FMIC Blitz DSBC Dual Stage boost controller (Low boost ~15 PSI, High Boost ~19-20 PSI) Q45 AFM Bosch 550cc Injectors NisTune R32 RB20DET computer with map to suit above setup on BP98 Bosch 040 fuel pump Nismo adjustable fuel regulator 3" Turbo back exhaust (Bell mouth style dump to suit GT30 to Catalytic converter to resonator, to JUNBL rear muffler) I have a 3" "big" magna flow middle muffler that I was intending to fit which I would throw in to replace the resonator Power - makes 281 RWKW on Jaustech's dyno (can attach dyno plot)...240 of those RWKW available from about 4000RPM. Could crack the 300 RWKW with bigger injectors and a Z32AFM. I have been quoted about $600 to fix it and paint. The boot also has a small dent in it also. IIRC I was quoted about $1000 (maybe a touch more) to fit the side skirts, fix the dents and paint. Will post photos when I get a chance. MISC R32 GTR centre console tripple gauges (not connected) Alpine head unit GReddy turbo time (not connected) Viper (unknown model) immobiliser Not fitted but will throw in: Focal 6.5" front splitters (cost me $500 at the time and never fitted) Alpine 4 channel amp wiring kit to suit the above Viper immobiliser (remote start capable, few other features) There's probably a few other things I've missed out but that will do for now... Hey guys, I'm looking to buy an R33 GTS (Auto) in the future to use as a first car and reliable daily, just wondering how much one goes for around VIC. I'm not fussed on colour or K's.

With the recent price rise in GT-R's and the dwindling supply of clean vehicles, will more people be turning the to Evo for a 4WD Japanese sports car? I believe prices have gone beyond the budget of the average punter, with the BNR32 into the 30-40k range, BCNR33 25k+, and I won't even mention R34's. This is expensive for what you get in terms of performance, reliability and parts attainability. Of course you can't go past the heritage, looks and presence of a GT-R, but there are certainly better value choices. Will people in the market for a GT-R begin turning to Evo's due to their lower price and (arguably) better performance? Will there be a knock-on effect in which Evo prices begin to rise too? As someone in their 20's and saving for a house, there's no way I could justify a GT-R anymore, but an Evo seems like a reasonable compromise. Ugly though

New looking for a clean R32 GTr Hi everyone, im about to begin the hunt for a clean GTR R32 with low kms, sensible modifications ok, the prices have seemed to skyrocket of late! What should I be paying for a clean car? Carsales seems to have few quality cars available, my budget is $60k Thanks

looking to buy r32 gtr but prices are crazy now? so i am currently in the market for an r32 gtr. but the prices now days are crazy, i remember looking a few years ago and they were like 15k now simillar ones are 30k+ do you guys think the price will continue to rise?

Stole this thread idea from the Aus Z Car forums, I thought it'd be a good way to track sell prices and values for current and prospective owners of Skylines. Some house keeping; • If possible, post a few photo's/screenshots in addition to the link from the auction and post them here. This is useful because it gives everyone an indication of current values and what you get for your money if you are looking to buy or sell.This will help us all, for insurance reasons we have some proof of current values. For selling it helps us gauge our cars true worth and for curiosity sake we can compare year on year the values of our cars etc..If anyone has further suggestions to this, please feel free to share them here.
