  1. so..... this is my first rb25det neo (RWD) engine and i will fix it in a peugeot 504 - 76 but i have some questions to the rb specialist i know there is a lot of info. on the internet for this engines but i'm totally lost and i want some one to simply answer this questions : 1- what is difference (mechanically and electrically ) between the neo and non neo engines? 2- did the neo engines came in R33 or it only came in R34 and starting from what models??? 3- how can i make sure that my engine is originally a DET engine ??? 4- what is the difference between s1 and s2 engines? 5- what is the ECU serial number which matches my Rb25 det neo (because i got the engine with a harness only )? 6- i bought an rb20 gear box with this engine because of the lake of resources (money) is this will be a problem in the future ? 7- what is the difference between an automatic and a manual transmission engine harness and how can i know which harness i have? 8- i need a full wiring diagram for this engine as the wiring is the most challenging thing for me (fixing the motor into the car is the easy part). this acutely summon my doubts for now any help from you guys will be very appreciated if any one have any info for me for fixing an rb engine into my car please let me know __________________________ proud to be a RB owner ____________________________
  2. V35 Re-shell - Few Questions! Hi guys, My 2003 V35 was involved in a rear end accident and so iv'e decided to re-shell it - throw all the running gear, suspension/brake setup into the clean, straight shell which is a 2004 shell. Questions... 1. Are there any decent 'engine removal' DIY's? 2. Thinking of swapping my black/suede interior from my old shell into the new shell which is all cream leather (don't really like it) - Which means pretty much whole inside of the car will be swapped over... Are there any full dash board removal DIY's as it seems only dash cluster removal DIY is what is coming up in Google search and not the whole front end dash panel as I am after.. 3. Just in general, swapping things from a 2003 shell to a 2004 would there be any things that won't fit or work with in the new shell/loom? Will also be swapping my dash cluster into the new shell as well Thanks in advance!
  3. Could not find any info on this so hopefully someone knows the answers? Lm-gt1 and Lm-gt2 Nismo wheels were a option for the r32 gtr. What year did the wheels come out? Colour options? What sizing was available for the r32 gtr? Thanks
  4. Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out some potential aero improvements for the 4door and keen for some input. The goal would be to have more downforce to improve high speed stability. The one time I've been at the track in the car it didn't exactly feel planted doing 199km/h up the back straight at Sandown. Would a rear undertray/diffuser help with this? There's a massive cavity under the boot area in the R34 sedan - is there anything similar to the GT-R undertray available for it? With the front of the car, this URAS bar looks very trick, however I wonder if it makes any actual difference? I'm currently running Origin rear window and boot lip spoilers but they probably don't do much. Would a bigger drag style wing help with downforce? Any other tips are welcome too!
  5. Hi all, I've been lurking for a little bit and decided to join up. Purchased a 2006 V35 about a week ago (very happy with it!) and just had a couple of questions: Where in New Zealand (North Island) can you get an english conversion? (I don't care about the navigation, but the other stuff would be nice to have in english). Where do you suggest I look to find a coupe mid pipe? (I love the sound of the engine and would like a little more purr but not "loud"). Where are the anchor points for the child seats? What is the "Cold Region Package"? How do you bring up the fuel economy stats on the screen? (I figured out the bluetooth and maintenance history stuff) Also wanted to say thanks to Chris (Mr whizz electrical guy) as so many of your posts have already been invaluable to me! Hey guys, ive been searching around for a new turbo for my rb20. doing lots of research and everything trying to find an affordable good working one. or just gonna suck it up and go with a garrett 3071 i've been trolling through ebay for the last couple of weeks. been seeing a fair few "mamba GTX3071r" turbos. Now im 100% sure they are garrett copies. but from what i've read so far (which isnt much) is that they are made by a main guy who left kinugawa and started to make these. their website "mambatek.com" doesnt work. but their shop does via their facebook. now i've seen kinugawa turbos pull some pretty decent numbers, and also cop some serious hate.
