Well my build has begun...GTR life Bought a brand new coolant bottle, bonnet cowl and rubber, new clips for the front grill. Also got a new GTR badge for the boot, original GTR key and a nice little Nismo key ring Will start fitting things this weekend, also going to wire in my sub and amp and tune the stereo. I've also changed the steering wheel to my mono 'race' wheel. When I got time I'll post my list of things I have decided to do. Love this car, love driving it, love playing with it,

hi guys, im new to the forum so this would be my first post. I am currently 17 and not too far off of getting my p's, I have a general love for my skylines especially the r34 4 door gtr. I have been set on an r32 gts-t 4 door for a while now seeing as the laws have changed to nearlly the same as queensland's here in victoria. The Vicroads website states that: "If your probationary licence was issued on or after 1 July 2007, you can drive some lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicles. The definition of a lower performance turbocharged or supercharged vehicle is a vehicle with six cylinders or less that is: turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio of less than 100kW per tonne turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio between 100kW and 125kW per tonne and that is considered to be a family type vehicle (four seats or more) rather than a sports type vehicle. A family type vehicle is a sedan, station wagon or hatch normally used to carry families/passengers with four or more seats and is equipped with child restraint anchorages. A family type vehicle does not include a sports car (two door coupe)." Now... i got a phone call this morning from a lady from vicroads exemptions. She basically assumed i was some dick head p plater who just wants a fully sick turbo. She was rude and was set on telling me no i could not drive a 4 door r32 gts-t. I am confused because the r32 gts-t weighs 1,300kgs and makes 158rwk. 158/1300 = 121kw/tonne which falls bellow what vicroads states is required to drive a 4 door turbo charged vehicle. She said i can apply for an exemption aslong as i have some sort of "un-due hardship" that requires me to drive this vehicle. I wanted the gts-t so that i didnt have to sell it as soon as i was off my p's, Not to mention the n/a models cost more. I am tempted to send another letter and hopefully get someone a little more polite and not as ignorent to call me back. Ive heard of people applying for exemptions for the gts-t without undue hardship and just stateing that it falls below what the vicroads website states. Have any of you guys done this? im just looking for some solid info because as much as i love the gts-t im not going to risk my license to drive it. thanks guys.

Hey guys, Well the old girl has given up compression on no.6. 1989 model. Imported/complied in 1999. Gunmetal grey. 90,000km on the motor. '94 model engine so has long drive crank. Timing belt/tensioners/water pump (n1) and oil pump (n1) done as well HKS oil cooler kit with filter relocation Tomei sump baffle Profec B spec 2 electronic boost controller Nismo cluster (so can't be 100% on kms however in very good condition) Nismo rear subframe (stiffer bushes) Nismo billet flywheel and button clutch (balanced) Plenty of life left - only done 5000kms Nismo shocks and springs (firm without being teeth chattering) Newish genuine radiator R33 GTR brembos all round with plenty of pad Wedsport 17" lightweight wheels. (unsure of exact model but can chase up) -so light you can juggle them Bee R front pipe Full exhaust Sounds the goods (less so now that she's low on comp) Sure i've forgotten lots but it'll come to me. Body quite good. Has had a respray since coming to Aus. Few scratches and what not but she's 24 years old! Interior good. 1 tiny mark on dash (not a bubble) Nismo gear knob Momo wheel GPS based alarm with satellite tracking Sony head unit Has had oil/filter/coolant/fuel filter etc in last 200kms. Heaps of hoses replaced under the inlet manifold and also replaced water fittings and other little bits and pieces. No leaks. Has rego till November 2013. Its a great car that just needs the motor freshening up and will be a joy for a new owner. If the price is right i can include a a forged bottom end that is ready to be put together and lots of spares. Hi all, Regrettably I have to sell my car due to moving overseas (to NZ). I have owned this car for a little over 1 year now and since then have hardly had the opportunity to drive it. It was off the road for most of the time while I replaced the engine and added a few extra bits. Sadly now it must go to a new home. The paint/body work could use some t.l.c but could be a lot worse. I would love to restore it to it’s former glory but sadly can’t. The car was imported from Japan in 2005. I am the 3rd owner since it arrived. The 1st 2 were brothers. Bought the car with 107,000 km’s on the clock and I've put a total of 3,500km. So barely been used in the last 12 months. I am looking for any interest in buying the car as is. Complete bolt on R32 GTR Brake upgrade for Series 1 WGNC34. 296x32mm rotor with calipers which I rebuilt 1500km ago with genuine Nissan seals. Held up fine at Winton and Sandown with 230kw behind them on semi-slicks. The best bang-for-buck brake upgrade you'll find. Rotors are near-new (~31.7mm) slotted RDAs and ADR-approved braided brake lines. Come with a set of Project Mu MAX900i racing pads with ~70% left. Cost $300 just for the pads. $500ono for the lot. Okay so it has 145km on the clock, 2002 model, wrx clubspec evo 5, not on revs, no finance owing, rego till feb 2014, Factory sunroof 3rd owner, i bought it from a 45 yr old truck driver in kellyville i misplaced the logbooks when moving house, but still have some receipts and the original manual, spare key, and documentations. hey guys, long story short, bought this car for the motor. pulled the motor out, and some guy left me a deposit on the rolling shell. but 5 weeks later hes no where to be found. parents cracking shits wanting this out of the garage as its been sitting there for 2 months now. car is missing the complete interior. (all plugs etc are there, all parts would be plug and play) no motor. and the front end is missing because it was in an accident. Hey Guys, I have been thinking of selling my GTR for a while now. I work away in the middle of nowhere for 3 weeks at a time and get very little time to drive this car and have almost no need for it. Thought maybe someone on here would have better use for it. Anyway; 1989 R32 GTR in Gunmetal Grey. Just had the engine rebuilt by Marcus at Team K Kustoms in Sydney less than 2000km's ago. Fully forged internals etc etc... list of items can be seen on the build thread. selling my 1992 r32 skyline, need the cash to travel and moving to a island when i get back so no real point keeping it, although it will be missed. its had a bit of work done to it nothing internal all bolt ons but still goes alright with a super clean look to it. Just finished putting in a imported engine, still rb20 but only done 110,000 on the engine itself the car has (will put up tomorrow) but haven't had anything major happen to it other than the alternator which is now a rb25. bit of damage on drivers door from a hit and run was so devastated when i found what had happened. i'll cut it sort to what mods it has and cons. rego: KKR 430 turbo turbosmart eboost2 blitz ecu chip simens injectors billet twin feed fuel rail saed fuel reg.
