  1. Hi just looking for some advice, I wanted to replace the clilpack wiring loom in my 93 GTST , but have found rather than having the standard 7 pin plug, ive found it has a 6 pin, the only replacement I can find is one that suits the 33 GTR, but mine has an earth wire and the GTR does not, but also keeping in mind this car is in a mess and the ignition control module is not even fixed to the car, ( got it this way and plan to sort it all out ) Any advice would be helpful, I'm not sure what to do TIA

  4. hi all i have a r33 series 1.5 (which comes stock with series 2 engine/driveline, series 2 body seires 1 interior) as i believe for an eoi. I have taken care of my girl except for when some F#$K wit keyed the r/h/f fender and just behind drivers door a little. ive seen fenders go for about $100 and the scratch behind the drivers door could be buffed and polished by a pro maybe. mods include: Pod Filter with cold air box surround 12 psi wastegate actator turbo-back exhaust indluding split dump, 3 inch front, high flow cat and 3 inch straight through to a 4inch tip. atomik high energy coils advanti 17 inch rims black and silver dish sony double din head unit full sound system inc sub and amp tinted windows whole car(except front windscreen for rwc reasons) new tyres on front, 70% tread left on rear, boost gauge fitted(no holes drilled just tucked in beside my head unit) extreme heavy duty clutch fitted 1 month ago new gearbox/diff/engine oils front and rear brakes roughly 75% odomoter says 124500 but was changed over from one that had 147ks on it not sure if it was an original. comes with brand new boost tee with connectors, turbo timer (not installed due to lazyness) car drives like a dream should be around the 190-200 kw at rear wheels. not sure if i missed anything or not. test drives welcome but money /bank statement must be shown before test driving to show you can afford it, to stop test pilots coming through. car can come with roadworthy at asking price, or sort your own if we negotiate. i am open to offers. car is located in brisbane northside QLD. asking price is 11000 with rwc and rego till feb i think will double check later. or swaps for something message me with any offers contact phone is 04 10 228 157 just shoot a txt i work full time and probably wont answer. wont let me upload pics just send me a txt or msg and send me ur email adress and will send pics

  11. Hi everyone, been searching forums & Google for a while now struggling to find detailed info on my question... I have an r33 gtst (engine out currently) hks 3037s top mount & many other mods including a genuine greddy plenum. My question is how do I go about gaining the midrange loss back from the plenum? A few posts in various forums said a spacer between the plenum & the head. So this leads me to my questions below 1. How thick should the spacer be? 2. Did it cause any fittment issues? 3. Can you use the same bolts to fit the plenum back on or longer ones to suit? 4. to people who have done this was it really noticeable dyno/road feel? I'm not here to get plenum choice advice or what somoneones opinion on my setup is or why plazmaman this & greddy that...... just trying to find info on the greddy spacer idea & if it works well.... To anyone who has done this please shed some light on this topic, tell us what car/engine u have & how thick the spacer is + what were your gains.... New Turbo installation queries i have an r33 gtst currently unning sstock boost on a hdi electronic boost controller. i am looking at installing a new turbo but continuing to run the stock boost will i need to get the car tuned considering there will be no boost changes and out of curiosity what can the stock ecu manage as far as upping the boost is concerned before the car will start to run lean. thanks in advance
  14. help Hi,I know nothing about turbo cars so any help would be amazing I recently purchased a 1995 R33 skyline,3 days after buying it i was cruising down the road,stopped at the lights when a evo pulled up next to me,I didnt take of that hard,and the car lost all power and stalled .I pushed it around the corner and let it sit for 5mins,i then started it up and it was fine,but as i was just starting to get to 1500rpm the car instantly started to rev to 6000rpm.so i got it home on a truck but when i start it now it automatically revs at 6000rpm.it has a haltec platinum pro ecu and a high flow turbo.can any one help?

  17. Hi All Just brought a 1995 R33 GTST coupe. Stock motor, manual boost controller, greedy catch can, blow off valve, 3inch exhaust, just the basics... imported in 04, no idea of logs etc...1st time buyer,been 16 years since I petrol turbo car, been over in WA driving diesel 4x4's.. See how she goes..., weapons of cars the GT-R's and GTS-T etc, reminds of the gold ole' days driving bridge/monster port rotaries... Certainly a learning curve and very much appreciate forums such as these, thanks for having me

  19. Hey everyone ive had a look through all the post and i cant seem to find anything that helps my problem out. Ive got a R33 GTST was a rolling shell and i had a spare rb25de motor laying around so i chucked em together and since the skyline is a series 2 body and the motor WAS a series 1 i had untold problems trying to get it to start. So next move was to convert the motor to series2, NEW: Throttlebody with s2 TPS, S2 coilpacks and loom, S2 Ecu and S2 engine loom. Since doing that ive got the motor turning over, fuel injectoring, pulse signals and power signals everywhere they should be, so should run right? Well not yet, ive got power and signals to all 6 coilpack plugs but no spark brand new plugs and still nothing. For some reason power wont go through the coilpacks? Anyone know a trick to these?
  20. Howdy I bought my first skyline about 2 months ago. And haven't really been able to enjoy it yet. Basically heres what it came with Ive been wanting to purchase a skyline for years but kinda feel like i bit off way more then i can chew with this backyard modified skyline. I have no previous mechanical knowledge but was hoping to pick up a new hobby with this. Since purchasing, i had a nightmare trying to get it roadied and transfered from NSW to VIC. 2.8k later, exhaust is plugged up so its quiet (pretty restricted) wastegate plumbed back into exhaust. And its completly thrown out the tune. Its currently in RnR , cant boost as a result. Runs crazy rich, absolutely stinks etc. Its a stock ECU that does have a G1 link chip and a tuning plug. But it doesnt have the hand controller that also has a serial port on it. Basically my next step is to get a new ECU ( or a cheaper alternative such as a pfc or nistune) in an attempt to keep costs down but i feel like I wont be able to do that with the gear its running. I am in country vic and (warrnambool area) and was hoping to get away with not having to work out who/how i can get a trailer to melb. From what i know its been mafless tuned due to having no AFM. Im wondering what my best options would be, if there are any tuning /JDM specialised workshops that are near ballarat or geelong (south west vic) without going all the way to melbourne that i could take my car to for a new ecu, tune, and a good service. It is driveable but barely, its pretty unreliable, its been surging, spluttering etc so i didn't want to drive it too far (100-150kms). Sorry for the poor grammar i smashed this out. ill edit and fix things as i go on.   23. I have a 1996 r33 Gtst with about 180,000ks, stock turbo running 10 psi, plazmaman Front mount intercooler, new splitfires and new plugs, stock ecu. Recently i have been getting quite alot of white smoke on a cold start which increases when revved. It all goes away when car had warmed up. I did have some problems with a pcv vlave and also installed a catch can which i have taken off for the moment and installed all new hoses and i have replaced the pcv valve and grommet. I have done a chemical radiator test which came up neg everytime and there is no oil water mix. I did a compression test which was my first time ever and forgot to open the throttle! so dont know how accurate it is but results were: 1. 125 2. 125 3. 120 4. 120 5. 130 6. 130 i took the intake pipes off the turbo and there was a bit of shaft play in and out, a little bit more play than there was up and down. The intake pipes were pretty clean and no real signs of oil. Does this sound like turbo seal failure or leaking valve stem seals? Any help would be much appreciated
  24. Dipped my whip again Hey guys Decided to dip my car again. Last time I put black dip and a 3k topcoat on it, to sand and polish it later. Ive tried once and started with the roof. After 2 hours I felt fed up with that shit and was calculating how much stuff I got left over from all the dipcrap I did already, so I threw some kind of red copper whatever thing on ^^ Lemme know what you are thinking
  25. Hi guys, just bought this amazing car after selling my s15. Its a sedan skyline with full full nismo bodykit and performance parts. Hks 28/35 turbo Hks ecu pro version 2.1 Hks fmic Nismo injectors Apexi electronic boost controller Nismo 5 speed gearbox Nismo Heavy duty clutch Nismo 300km speedo Greddy inlet manifold Oil catch can and cooler Nismo rims Bigger fuel pump 250kw at the wheel with 1bar. The problem is that the car was tuned by the previous owner on 2 bars. When I bought the car. The car was set and runing at .75 bar and was running was rich, black smoke. The car got no afm as well and the owner is not sure what the previous tuner has done. May runing on map sensors. I then increase the boost to 1.10 bar, the car run a bit better than before but still run a rich. (By increasing the boost, doesnt blow that much black smoke) I found some petrol leak beside the injectors as well. Not sure about that. Need to get a good tuner who work on hks ecu and someone to fix that injectors leak which I think its the orings. If anyone know a good tuning place please let me know.
