  6. I have had the car for 10 years this year and was one of the first stageas in western Australia, 260rs were not even available at that point. I owned it for 2 weeks and put in a rb26 and manual conversion from my previous car. The rb26 ended up getting modified abit too much and got defected and I put this more streetable engine combo (with very very responsive turbo) in and have only used it on rare occasions due to having a work car and buying a house and therefore only doing 5500km in the past 3 years since the motor was built. I have all receipts for the engine build and photos etc. the engine is a built rb26/30 (5500km since build) with gt3076r turbo, autronic, brembos, bilsteins, full gtr driveline (gtr diff, axles, gearbox, etc) plus heaps and heaps of mods... full engineering permits for engine conversion, and mods. currently making around 350awhp with potential for much more! mods: rb30 rebuilt bottom end king bearings endurotec 86.5mm pistons hastings rings Proengines 4wd sump adaptor gtr 4wd sump setup rb26 head & plenum setup freshened up with new valve stem seals, redone valves, shims setup, deck etc hks drag 1.2mm metal head gasket hks drag metal intake and exhuast gaskets gt3076r turbo custom steam pipe manifold hks 50mm wastegate 3' dump pipe and exhuast with magnaflow muffler and an apexi centre muffler K&N pod filter custom alloy cooler piping and intake pipe custom metal oil and water lines jun adjustable cam gears gtr 5 speed manual box extreme single plate clutch 32 gtr diff and axles 32 gtr rear brakes 34 gtr brembo front brakes dba 5000 alloy hat front slotted rotors custom adr approved braided brake lines r33 handbrake 4.11 front and rear diff ratios autronic smc ecu eboost 2 defi 3 din gauge setup whiteline springs all round bilstein shocks all round all noluthane bushes throughout front and rear arc front swaybar whiteline rear swaybar adjustable camber bushes r33 gtr wheels and near new tyres dayz rear bumper lip nismo copy sideskirts over 20k+ in mods alone very very well build and all round modified car, faster than gtr's and can carry 5 people in comfort. 8. Hey guys, I finally decided to put up a little info on my R33. It started life as a bog standard R33 GTST series 2 when I bought the car in 2009. I put a set of Advan RS racing wheels on it almost straight away which cost me half as much as the car itself.... For my 18th birthday my parents bought me an advanced driver training course with Fifth Gear Motoring at Wakefield Park. Apparently I wasn't too bad!!! I managed a 1:19.6 on standard wheels and 10 year old Falken something 205 tires. Everything went downhill from there.... When I get home tomorrow I will update the thread with old and current photos of the car and take you through how it got there and where we are headed!!! Cheers Damian Lomax Last Minute Racing

  11. Hi Guys, I'm reluctantly putting my now discontinued fixed back Recaro TS-G ASM limited seat. The seat is absolute porn and in excellent condition. Here is a bit about the seat: http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?cPath=29_154&products_id=201 Part of the ASM LIMITED series of original ASM tailored seats. Based on the new RS-G structural sports shell from Recaro Japan. ASM Limited Recaro products are produced by Recaro Japan specifically for ASM, they are not reupholstered by ASM. The shining mesh silver cloth is adopted for this Recaro seat and greatly improves the feeling of luxury. Also features a Silver RECARO logo and Red double stitch that further improves sportiness. The seat side allows smoother accelerator, brake, and clutch action with divided leg support. Support has been improved to the shoulder with the addition by adding no slipping support. The angle of the back rest is the same as the popular Recaro SP-G. It is a very comfortable full bucket seat that firmly supports the waist surroundings. Seat comes with a genuine Recaro ASM side protector which protects the seat when getting in and out. It does have a genuine R32 GTR Rail which cost $400 however i might hold onto this. Price for seat only $1000 Located in Sydney

  17. V35 Drag Racing Hi everyone, As we are all aware, there are plenty of videos out there of R series Skylines running the quarter mile, but not a lot about the humble V35 350 GT. For obvious reasons, they are not often considered for drag/track applications, especially against other boosted JDM imports. When the Perth Motorplex held a Nissan VS Honda theme night (not a fair match-up, I know...) in March 2017, where you could run your Honda or Nissan for $20, I thought "bugger it", and decided to give it a crack. Ill start with a bit about the car first- My Skyline is a 2003 coupe, with a 5 speed A/T gearbox. I have owned the car for 2.5 years and am the first Australian owner. It has the following mods- Tein coilovers, Godspeed front/rear sway bars, vented/slotted rotors, Injen CAI, Mace engineering 12mm plenum spacer and an Apexi 3" catback exhaust. I did a fair bit of research prior to running. According to "experts" on G35 Driver, they should be running around 14.7 dead stock. I was expecting 14.4 to 14.5 based on my mods, if these "experts" were correct. Boy was I surprised- my first run, with my brother riding shotgun and a full tank of fuel, netted a disappointing 15.050 @ 150.46kph, in full automatic mode (with power set to on). I also forgot to turn off VDC until my third run, which may have also cost a bit of time. For the next run, I booted my brother out of the car and saw an immediate improvement to 14.860 @ 152.67 kph. Still disappointing, but I knew I could definitely shave a bit of time by shifting manually as the car was shifting into 4th just before the finish line. I knew if I held it in third, I could squeeze a few extra kph out of it. I decided to let my brother have a run next as per the video below. We still lost, but we were constantly seeing improvement in each run. I believe he ran a 14.8, which was excellent considering I was in the car. He had an excellent launch too. Apologies in advance, as there is a bit of coarse language. My third run suffered from a boggy launch, and a limiter bash in second, so I only managed 14.975 @ 153.87 kph. I cant blame my brother for that one, as he wasn't in the car. My last run was the best of the night. My brother captured it on his camera, so I will link it in the comments once I have obtained it off him. My final run was 14.678 @ 156.03 kph. My car had finally achieved (and slightly bettered) what the "experts" said it should have done. I was very happy with that run, and decided to call it a night. I let my brother have another run, where he managed 14.7xx (again, I will link it in the comments once I have transferred it). By the end. I was fairly happy, especially when I learned that the two 350z's that were there only managed mid to low 15's. Is there room for improvement? For sure. Perth temps suck at that time of the year in the early evening. The temp was still in the mid to high 20's and it was humid as buggery. As many of you will agree, these conditions have a detrimental impact on performance on our cars. I also went down with a full tank of fuel- this would be the equivalent of carrying another passenger in the car. Considering I gained 2/100ths of a second by dropping a passenger, another run with low fuel and colder temps could see a considerable improvement. I may even possibly see the 14.4 or 14.5 I was chasing. When I uploaded my video to Youtube, I came across a few G35 and 350z quarter mile runs, and they were all running in the 15's. It just goes to show that you cannot always believe what you read on the internet, and that a "textbook" run is something that trained drivers achieve under ideal circumstances. I hope this info helps, as there was not a lot out there about what these cars can do.
  18. Fastest Pumpgas Street Skylines I'm running 93 octane USA fuel which I think is equivalent to RON98 and am curious what some of the fastest full-body, full interior, full accessory (PS, AC etc) skylines are running. I'm trying to get a benchmark for my setup. I'm currently on 20 psi boost and think that it will tip 130 mph soon and be in the high 10's on 255 hankook RS3 tires now that my boost control issue seems sorted. Curious what target numbers are out there. If you have some pumpgas (non-E85, non-racegas, non-WMI) time and mph runs please post them here. Thank You, Patrick Here's my last time at the track with bad boost control (spike, pull timing and boost, then slowly recover). 60' = 1.772 330 = 4.837 1/8 mile = 7.363 @ 99.14 1/4 mile = 11.288 @ 126.26

  20. See if this can stir the pot. BNR32 GTR 1990 (PAINTED WHITE, no idea when). 17psi (Garret 2860-5’s) Full engine rebuild at EAS Performance KM’s: 125,000 km’s on body, < 25,000km’s on Engine. Price: $45,000 Registered with RWC. Firm. Location: Victoria. PM me if you’re genuine and financial. No test drives, until I have cash in pocket. I can drive you though! This R32 GTR was purchased from JSA Imports in Melbourne/Preston over 10 years ago. I was the first to register this car in Australia when it had 87,000 kms on dash. There was slight amount of rust occurring within the inner drivers side rear guard when I went to purchase this car. Which I had them cut out rust and fixed professionally before purchasing it. I can see a slight amount of bubbling in paint from more rust in the same lower part of the guard 10 years later. Since owning this car there has been a lot of money spent on it. There has been no cheap parts put into this car. As I have purchased all the top of the range parts when rebuilding this motor. The motor was rebuilt by EAS Performance in Melbourne/Airport West, the engine machining and blue printing was down at Williamstown Engine Rebuilds. I have added three new electric 'Mirror Drift' gauges to the original cluster on the interior console, the original 'air vents' have fallen apart. I will arrange for the three new OEM vents to be replaced before purchase. Apart from that the interior is pretty good (2x small holes in drivers seat plus some passenger seat stains). Plus one small dint in bonnet. Engine - full rebuild by EAS Performance Arias Piston Stock Rebuilt Head Oil galleries filed down or bolts for better oil flow in bottom end also. 22. PLEASE REQUEST MORE PICS IF GENUINELY INTERESTED I HAVE OVER 120 PICS OF THE BUILD + FINISHED PRODUCT I WILL ALSO ANSWER ANY QUESTION ASAP, WILL BE CHECKING EMAIL CONSTANTLY SO DONT HESITATE THIS CAR IS ALSO LISTED ON ALL COMMON CARSALE WEBSITES WITH MUCH MORE PICS... Carsales listing has about 65 pics Up for sale is my Pride and joy, an E85 Fueled 1996 M-Spec S2 R33 GTS-T with 145,000kms I have owned her for 4 years and have spent the last 12-18 months transforming the already 596hp beast into my ultimate reliable, easy to drive R33 ASKING $31999 ONO VIN: 6U9000ECR33113727 I Purchased her with 596hp on E85 and absolutely meticulously cared for... a solid build but it needed a few things. Faulting it were the typical hard to drive brass button clutch, grinding 5th gear, sticky throttle body, a few small tune faults and some minor cosmetic details. ( old steering wheel, no floor mats etc.) I wanted it perfect so I decided to strip it down and change a few things to my liking and as you will see below.. i got a bit carried away with my “quick” teardown and rebuild. Reason for regretful sale is I’m wanting to buy a house.. so its time for my labour of love to be passed on. The car has never been smoked in, it has never been parked outside.. Literally not been parked in the sun more than a hour since I’ve owned it. Never parked in shopping center car parks, never parked in the city, never driven to work etc. has been 100% a weekend car and has been only parked in my dry and safe garage hence the great condition paint, headlight lenses, interior and lack of even a tiny speck of rust or corrosion. The car has been cleaned and washed almost every time its driven (once or twice per fortnight). Has always been maintained with high quality products like Mothers and Meguiar’s The car has just been tuned at PIT’s by Matty Spry 30/5/2018, regarded as one of the best in the industry to work on a skyline. It made a reliable 599.99HP at the wheels @25PSI It would be fair to assume that every fast car has been built to be driven hard.. but not only has this car had very little Kms since rebuild but it has been very well cared for, I understand the stress that every part in the car Is put under at high boost and have always driven accordingly... it has never been skidded, thrashed or even redlined... the highest RPM the car will ever see under my ownership is by my tuner in a controlled environment, with that in mind Rev limiter is set to 7350 for safety but can obviously be raised if you choose My attitude with this car has always been “Do it right- Do it once” hence the 40k+ of parts used to get up to my standards (on a car that already had a lot spent on it by previous owner – (Probably in the order of 30-40k incl car) Everything I have touched is either already perfect or has been replaced with brand new parts. No stone left unturned, no corners cut. I have used nothing but the best parts and have spent hundreds of hours researching the best part or best method for the job, only Genuine Nissan or top brand Aftermarket parts have been used – eg. Can get an oil cooler for $100 but I got a $650 Japanese top quality unit, which has fluid pass through twice for extra cooling. Many many things on the car where I have spent MUCH more than necessary just for the peace of mind knowing it is built as strong, as reliable, as functional and as fast as it can be. You can rest assured that you are buying a car that isn’t just built to go fast.. its built to do it comfortably for a long time to come, without issue. You can also rest assured knowing that the person who built this car is a perfectionist who spent a lot of time and thought getting everything right, I don’t just bolt things on I look at every aspect of this particular job and how it interacts with every other part of the car to ensure the whole product at the end. I was once told there is 3 things of importance to car owners and you can only have 2… - Cheap, Fast and Reliable – and I have certainly opted for the latter 2 Engine has always been serviced every 2000Kms MAX, oil and filter - gearbox and diff were done every 5000kms (like everything else way over done for peace of mind), has just had brand new clutch, brake, diff, engine, gearbox and power steer fluids 30/5/18 Where items are marked NEW they have been a part of the recent rebuild and are all BRAND NEW parts – this process was completed on 4/6/2018 so all these parts have JUST been installed will have very minimal use and KM’s – all other parts were installed previously by either myself or previous owner, (the car has done about 7,000kms total since the previous owner built motor prior to me buying it… including the KMs I have done) so even parts that aren’t brand new have low Kms on them Due to the extent of modifications.. this car cannot be sold with a RWC, it will be de-registered on the day of sale, if purchaser is on gold coast or south brisbane im willing to deliver the car to you and remove plates once in your garage, I can provide details of the RWC certifier that I have always used for this car for an easy re-register $42540 in Receipts + $18000 I paid for the car Well over $42,000 in receipts (a 2” thick folder full of receipts will be supplied with the car aswell as over 125 pics of progress of the build and finished product - BYO USB), and as anybody who has ever built a car like this would know big ticket receipts are only a fraction of the money that’s been spent on her – also keep in mind I am quoting the prices I paid which is generally way below normal retail price Engine: Rebuild done by Troy at Arundel cylinder heads NEW $9000 Rebuild on a motor that already had $10k+ in it Block Decked Plateau Hone and bored Full Engine Balance and Blueprint NEW CP Forged Pistons 86.5mm 9.0:1 $1000 Kelford cams Balanced and plugged crank Nitto oil pump Forged Rods HKS cam gears NEW ACL Race Bearings $240 NEW All seals rubbers gaskets etc. NEW Japanese water pump $90 NEW Gates timing kit $250 NEW Tomei cam cap studs $325 ARP Studs NEW ATI Superdamper harmonic balancer $720 Genuine Greddy Intake Manifold $1000+ 1000cc ID injectors Splitfire coil packs Vipec ECU – $1800 - Just tuned at 599.99HP by Matty Spry at PITS gold coast - tune alone cost $2650… the two runs on the dyno sheet are at wastegate spring pressure @ 10PSI and 2nd is with elec boost control @ 25PSI NEW Raceworks 4 Bar Map sensor $180 NEW Clear Timing Cover $90 Custom Stainless catch can and power steer bottle Stainless vented coil pack cover K&N pod air filter Head: Port and polish on inlet and outlet bowl areas $560 Full head service incl adjust valve spring tensions/throat after putting in larger valves $720 NEW Oversized Stainless exhaust valves $280 NEW Oversized Stainless intake valves $306 NEW Seals $130 NEW MLSR 1.3mm head gasket $30 Large oil drain fitting with 5/8” oil/E85 resistant High temp hose to sump Turbo + Exhaust: NEW Garrett GTX3582 Vband Turbo With ATP Twin Scroll T4 1.06 AR Housing $3000 NEW Custom Twin Scroll T4 CRG Turbo manifold (chose this because of the amazingly unrestrictive merge collector welding) $1300 NEW Custom 3.5" Stainless Dump + Mid Pipe $1777 NEW Basalt Volcano Wrap on dump pipe – this is the best heat wrap around (75% overlap not minimum 25%) $80 NEW Kakimoto Racing Hyper Full Mega N1 3.5" Full Stainless Cat back Exhaust $1500 Twin Tial 40mm Wastegates Tial Blow Off Valve NEW Pro flow stainless braided turbo fittings and hoses $500 NEW High quality stainless T-bar Clamps used throughout boost/intercooler piping $300 NEW all silicone hoses used for boost, BOV, wastegates, boost controller etc, all with stainless worm drive clamps not cable ties NEW Innovate Wideband O2 sensor in dump pipe NEW MAC 4 port Electronic boost control $100 Spare exhaust bung located at top of dump pipe, to enable much better tuning Foil backed fiberglas heat wrapping on Turbo water feed as runs close to exhaust Oil drain from head and turbo run in specialty 250c oil/e85 resistant smooth bore hose to sump, then sleeved with 500c fiberglass and silicone coated sleeve for superb protection from exhaust Cooling: NEW HPC Ceramic coating on turbo manifold $935 NEW HPC Ceramic coating on turbo exhaust housing $282 M-Spec aftermarket alloy radiator NEW Mushimoto Dual Pass 25 row oil cooler and genuine braided lines + sandwich plate $650 (LIFETIME WARRANTY) ARE Large Front mount intercooler NEW All Radiator\Heater hoses replaced with silicone $100 Clutch: NEW 1000HP NPC 225mm Twin Carbonic Sprung center 5 puck Full Billet clutch $2700 - drives almost like a stock clutch, absolutely miles ahead of the brass button that was on the car when I bought it. Tinting on rear windows isn’t perfect if I was to keep the car the next unnecessary things I would be looking at doing are: spend a few hundred on a really nice gear shift knob and replace suspension arms with upgraded tubular style ones new diff, although Nissan LSD’s are great already but as I said its not needed its just all that’s left unreplaced on the car IT IS ALMOST A BRAND NEW 2018 R33 NISSAN SKYLINE but better than Nissan ever built, it certainly drives like a brand new car with all drivetrain except diff brand spanking new All inspections by either yourself or your mechanic are welcome, please don’t hesitate to ask any questions I will answer them all as best I can – Or don’t hesitate to ask for more pics if interested, i have about 125 pics of car finished, as it was built, And motor internals, head etc as the motor was put together and much more
  23. Not my first time posting the results of my fun times down the strip, and certainly not going to be my last. Please see my video below documenting my adventures. After setting a PB of 14.2 @ 159kph back in October 2017, I decided to take my 2003 V35 back to the Perth Motorplex back in may before they closed up for the winter. The car should have been in great form- freshly serviced, a set of splitfire coilpacks (installed after the car threw a code) and some stainless steel test pipes (shedding 16kg of weight alone). I was gunning for a 14 flat, maybe even a high 13, but alas it was not meant to be. Despite a higher top speed (160+), I lost 2/100ths of a second and kept running 14.4's all night. It appears the car has picked up in the top end, but the 60ft times suffered. Where I was redlining 3rd previously, I still had an extra 500rpm up my sleeve. The only things to do now would be a tune, and maybe a 3:65 manual diff, so with bonus time coming up at work, that's what I'm planning for. But at least I know there is room for improvement! Mods as current: Apexi single 3" exhaust Stainless straight pipes Plenum spacer Injen short ram intake Grounding wire kit Splitfire coilpacks Tein coilovers Godspeed front/rear swaybars Factory Rays 19x8/19x8.5 forged rims with Achilles ATR Sport 2 tyres Please have a watch of the video and feel free to leave your thoughts below.
  24. Hi guys and gals, I'm selling my project 33 4 door as I don't have time or space anymore. would be perfectly suited to either a drift or track car, good points: has a professionally built 6 point welded in roll cage, brand new Tein adjustable coil overs all round, good project car. 2 of the main expensive bits are done (roll cage and suspension) already stripped out ready to race good wheels and tyres allot of the hard work is done spare set of Bilstien suspension in the boot CHEAP! lol Bad points: has been sitting around for about 2 years in the weather, needs either new engine or rebuilding the one that's in it. It had a blown head gasket, got pulled apart and then sat around paint is faded and already has a couple of battle scars located near Maryborough (250k's north of Brisbane). Price, honestly not sure what its worth but I'd like to get around $2500, which was the cost of the cage alone, (I'm open to realistic offers) essentially get the car, coil overs, wheels, tyres for free. added bonus **** I can help with transport etc. if required. I have a car trailer and work 7 on 7 off, so if needed I could transport it in one of my weeks off. pictures tell 1000 words so there isn't much else to say Removeable side intrusion bars All TIG welded
