Hi guys, I thought I'd post this up as an EOI, I'm not after a fast sale, more the right buyer for the car. The GTR in question is a 1997 Series 2 BCNR33 GTR V-Spec. Rarely driven, this GTR was taken out on average once per month. This GTR took me several months to find, and has been the object of obsessive attention to detail. Underbody, chassis rails are all clean, original stickers still visible. I do NOT race, or track this car. For me, this has been a clean BCNR33GTR that I chose to preserve rather than thrash. I have one of those (so called) rare Nismo LCD screen dashes. I'm not really fond of it to be honest, as ive never had the screen working (dont have the required setup). Basically, it came with my car when i bought it from the dealership, and it wasnt working. I noticed the screen behind the plastic casing had a bit of dust on it, so i decided to take it apart and wipe the screen. BIG mistake. ..The screen smudged at the bottom where i wiped, and left a mark which has never gone away. To be honest im not that fussed with all the "fancyness" of the dash, as id rather get a better look at what speed im doing then be looking at a blank screen at the moment. So i was wondering... 1. Is it worth keeping? Can the screen be fixed? And if so what computer/device do i need to run something on the screen? who can install it? or 2. Should i sell it/ swap it (and keep it in storage) with a regular stock R33 Gtst dash? Im not really fussed by the fact the screens got a scratch to it, as right now im leaning towards finding a stock dash with regular kms and swapping it over, still keeping the nismo one. If its worth getting fixed and it can be easily, ill consider looking down that path thanks for any opinions

Hi all, Up for sale is my 1978 datsun C210 skyline sedan. Bought the car with plans to restore it but became to hard as the car is at my dads property and I lost my license so didn't have a way to get there to finish it and it has sat there since. Car had a fair bit of rust but got rid of most of it apart from the passenger rear door (which I have a rust free new old stock door ready to go on which cost me 600 delivered and is included in the sale) and the rear left quarter panel behind the wheel arch. The rest was removed by myself but some has started to return after sitting for a while. Mechanically car is great and runs well and hasn't been thrashed as I bought it off an elderly couple and have only driven it a few times since. Interior is great apart from the dash cover which has started to peel back from the sun but to the best of my knowledge the dash underneath is good. Has vinyl roof which has started to dry out and crack from the sun. Also have some C210 fender mirrors which will be included in the sale. Doesn't blow smoke and doesn't leak oil. 96,638km on the clock. Selling to buy 80 series landcruiser or n/a r34 sedan so open to swaps. Located Gold Coast, Qld $3500 ono... In the golden age of now, it is more than obvious that the BCNR33 is the ultimate race-bred chassis out of the lineage. Whilst the BNR34 commands a higher price, the reality is upon its debut in Super Taikyu racing it quickly fell behind and was then replaced by the faster older BCNR33 chassis'. The design & wheelbase of the BCNR33 relates to it's superlative & brutal performance. This reality meant Nissan focused on 'improving control at the limit' for the BNR34, to help the everyday driver which essentially made it a slower car and why a new Nurburgring lap time was never set. Not only did the BCNR33 make history at the Nurburgring, it terrorised Le Mans knocking coming in 5th in Class & 10th overall. We all know how restricted the R33 was in both of these events, so the fact it left 911's, NSX's, F40's and Mclaren F1's behind is simply amazing. As we all know, by now most BCNR33's have fell victim to accident damage &/or structural rust particularly in Japan & the UK. Just about every example I looked at in Japan in Grade 4 condition had structural rust through seams and on the underbody. For a long time they were swept under the rug and unappreciated, so this is no suprise. Thus it's important that for those of us with an immaculate example - to come here to the thread, drink a coffee, post pictures & discuss just how great the BCNR33 really is. If we ever decide to sell (which is highly unlikely due to our sentimental attachment to a 'rare breed') anyone from overseas looking will be able to find us.
