  1. hey guys just looking for some ideas here. started my car the other morning. and had no oil pressure so shut it off straight away. tried turning car over with no fuel or cas. and nothing so replaced pump with a rb25 pump new also added a shim to the pump like i did with the 30 pump. and started car and had 100psi on cold start. once car was at temp it was 25 30 psi. but strange on light load 3000rpm oil pressure jumps to 100 psi. engine is a rb26/30 running hpr15 oil . did try thinner grade and same issue. using electric autometer oil pressure gauge does this sound like a dodgy relief vavle spring
  2. hey guys does anyone know wether i can put some uprated gears in a rb30e oil pump. as i dont want to run a n1 oil pump and pull the crank out and get a collar put on. ive measured the rb30e outter gear and its touch under 81mm and 11mm thick. rang ring for a new rb30 pump and there $1500 any help would be great
  3. I'm after help please, I need a head gasket to suit rb26 / rb30. I'd prefer genuine Nissan but can't get any from Nissan parts. The only options are mls gaskets or durapro. NOT using an mls gasket. Are the durapro any good or does anyone have a Nissan one for sale? The block is a low km rb30 and the head is from r34 GT-R rb26. How do I tell how much has been machined from the face? Are there marks on the head to use as a reference. I know it's been surfaced previously. Also the more compression I can get the better. There is a .8 mm durapro gasket available . Does that sound correct?
