  1. I have recently purchased a 1997 stagea rs four that is unregistered. I am in need of the front doors as the current ones are rusty, if anyone has any / can help me find them I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi All, Just curious, has anyone ever installed the pop up OEM sat nav screen (not so concerned with the screen just the actual pop up mechanism and screen casing) in a m35 model that does not have the sat nav as standard (the one that has the mini glovebox instead)? Considering putting the screen in but would like to have it neat and 'stock looking' If not any suggestions for nice places/methods of mounting a 7" screen? thanks guys
  3. Hi Guys, This is my first post here but have been reading for a while, so hi all . I'm currently looking at a stagea with a broken electric seat (I understand this is a pretty common issue). It's a 2002 NM35 Autech Axis with the heated leather electric seats, I just wanted to get some opinions as to common issues/fixes for this problem. All other functions appear to work except for the back and forth motion (the only one you really NEED haha, typical). Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance!
  4. So yesterday I finally put in my new head unit that I bought a few months back. The head unit itself is a Clarion CZ702A, which itself reviewed very well by MEA (http://www.mobileele...02a_cd_tuner-1/) and I used all Aerpro harnesses etc to get it installed without fuss. I also got the harness in readiness for steering wheel controls. Essentially the harness gets you from Nissan to ISO format, then you go from ISO plugs to whatever your deck is. Aerpro Harnesses used as follows: - Clarion to ISO Harness 15 Pin (APP8CLA) - Clarion to ISO format - Clarion Adaptor Cable Suits Control Harness A (APCLAA) - Clarion SWC connection - Control A For Nissan 350Z 03, Navara 06, X-Trial Sport 01 (CHNI3A) - Main harness including steering wheel control component - Nissan D/Diversity Lead (AP348A) - For Antenna connection Another reason for choosing this specific deck was because the LCD display can be completely changed in colour, unlike many that tend to keep part of the display/front in their corporate colours. There's a preset colour for orange that is close, but the User colour setting allowed for more finite control of RGB values (in 8 steps). There might be better instructions around for the removal of the centre section of the console but I used a combination of photo instructions and YouTube video used for the Infiniti G35 (so assume its all the same for M35 Stagea and V35 Skyline): - http://www.sound-rep...l-instructions/ The Clarion headunit itself came with a mounting cage, and after scratching my head a bit on how to use this, I realised I didn't need it. Instead, after unscrewing the factory H/U, I slid the Clarion in and used the same holes and screws to mount it up. I was also hesitant as to whether this unit would be able to control tunes on the new iPhone 5, so I just went down and checked with the sync cable plugged into the USB connection (that was run over into the glove box for now) and all worked as expected. Win! All in all pretty happy with it as is the wife unit. Cheers Brendan

  6. Hi Guys I've just bought a 2005 Stagea, and was wondering if any of you had come across a manual for it in english? I've got a couple of things I would like to get sorted, but can't really find too much information on it(Information that I can read anyway...) Specifically: LCD screen pops up, and goes straight back down(doesn't turn on) Power cable in the centre console, no idea what it is for In car phone system? Appears to be on the steering wheel, but nothing happens other than a "beep". Phone can't find the car either Replacing the stereo, I've seen adapters for the face plate, but can't seem to find a wiring diagram so I can keep the steering wheel controls(seen the adapters on amazon though) Dvd rom for the LCD? A way to get it all working again?(Providing the english conversion is out for the 2005 model now)(DVD has power to it, but that is all I can see/hear at the moment) Off/Snow/On button below the steering wheel, this car is only RWD, so I'm not sure what it's for?(I thought it was for the 4WD models) Other than those things, the car is great(perfect for towing the jetski) I hope I haven't broken any unwritten rules with this post, I'm not meaning to ask for you to do all the work, just to point me in the right direction Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Chris

Hi, I noticed a troubling sound on my 03 M35 (not ARX), when I am slowing down to a complete stop once and I get down to about about 20kph I get a random intermittent 'knocking' sound that sounds like its coming from the rear passenger wheel. Any thoughts? I have also noticed that occasionally the 4WD warning light (well I assume it's a warning light?) comes on which may be related. I haven't got means to read the engine codes at this stage so any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
  8. Hi All, Sorry if this has been asked a million times before but my M35 Stagea (Auto) is having stalling issues. It seems to pick it's days (ie. it won't stall for 3-4 days, then stall 5-6 times in one day, mostly worse when it's not 100% warmed up). I have replaced the fuel pump and filters, cleaned the throttle body (mostly just dirt, but did appear to have a little oil in it - please not leaky turbo :S?). I am going to attempt to clean the AFM and have a new air filter on it's way. Any other thoughts? The only other issue that I'm aware of at this stage is the 4WD light coming on from time to time (I'm fairly confident it's just low on ATESSA fluid but just haven't got around to replenishing yet), is there any chance these are related? Any help would be amazing! Thanks

  11. Complete bolt on R32 GTR Brake upgrade for Series 1 WGNC34. 296x32mm rotor with calipers which I rebuilt 1500km ago with genuine Nissan seals. Held up fine at Winton and Sandown with 230kw behind them on semi-slicks. The best bang-for-buck brake upgrade you'll find. Rotors are near-new (~31.7mm) slotted RDAs and ADR-approved braided brake lines. Come with a set of Project Mu MAX900i racing pads with ~70% left. Cost $300 just for the pads. $500ono for the lot.   14. Hey guys, just thought I would introduce myself to everyone on the forums. Just bought a late 98' Stagea RS4S as my new daily and am absolutely loving it. First AWD car I have evr owned and First turbo car I have owned. My name is Michael and to be honest, in the past i never thought I would ever buy a nissan. Have been a die hard Honda fan for the last 10 years and in the last few years also found love for the E30 platform. Was driving an e30 as a daily for a couple of years and enjoying it, but needed some extra space and wanted something a bit different. Also wanted something that wasn't going to get bogged taking it down tracks to surf spots, so AWD was a must. This one popped up in QLD of all places (i am in melbourne) was at an import yard called Motorman imports, gave them a call and they seemed decent. Put the money down and had it towed down here. So far haven't had any issues but will be getting it checked out at a workshop probably next week just to make sure it is all up to scratch. Anyway here it is: Engine bay: Boost controller unit: on surf trip down to apollo bay Center console when i picked it up, had a non functional double din suzuki headunit and the climate control was mounted down where the blanking plate is sapposed to be... Re-organised center console, but now there is a gap above the coin trey section. I am unsure what is meant to go in that space, i think it is a blanking plate of some description but not sure. Will be looking for the part that go's there though. Also, the factory tripple guage unit is extremely sensitive when it comes to the connection block at the back of it, with one small touch it will either not work at all or the lights won't work, or one of the guages won't work. The contact between the connection block and circuit board are a bit dodgy... Another surprise found when taking inspecting the car after picking it up, MINES ECU: Already picked up a few mods but won't be getting too out of hand as it is meant to be a fun practical daily as well as a surf trip car on weekeds new gear knob: Cooling pro stealth front mount kit: It's a 98' RS4S, came with the SR3 drivers seat, a Blitz NUR spec exhaust and some 'A tech final speed gear-r' wheels (never heard of them...) But then when i picked the car up and sussed it out properly, I found a Blitz Electronic Boost controller as well as a 'Mines' ECU and a turbo timer Had 82000k's on the clock and seems to be running strong. So far have bought some Thule racks for surf trips as well as a cooling pro stealth front mount and nismo gear knob. Plan is to up the boost to 10psi and get it tuned and that's about it to be honest. For now anyway. The AWD turbo platform will be a learning curve for sure as I have never worked with boost befor, but looking forward to the challenge Some of you guys might know me from seeing my trackcar at winton possibly, K24 powered EM1 that I built myself (still own it but it doesn't get out much these days ) My other project I have at the moment is my E30 Touring, it is my weekend/project car This was my daily befor I bought the Stagea, when it was at its best anyway: Anyway, good to join a new forum and looking forward to coming out on some cruises etc
  15. FOR SALE 8/2002 Nissan Stagea Axis Autech Model. VIN: NM35311708 Engine: VQ25DET Color: White Trasmission: 5 speed Auto w/ tiptronic. Rego: Until April 2014 109xxx kms. Overview: Hey guys, I’ve not had this car for a year, and whilst it has been the most comfortable, and reliable car I've ever owned, my situation has changed with my fiancé purchasing a brand new car, and only now requiring one car for a daily commute. Paying 2 sets of insurance/fuel/maintenance is just not viable at this stage. I purchased this car from Ben at Northshore Prestige early this year around the 15/4/13. It had circa 104000kms when purchased, and I have put a further 4,000kms on it since owning. It is immaculate. The paint has no chips whatsoever. There is NO rust. Mechanically, it is A1. There is no creaks, rattles, sounds etc. Automatic gearbox feels strong. Being the Axis model, it also comes factory with a flared Autech styled bodykit, different grill, and from what I’ve been told, different suspension compared to non axis models. It comes with the beige leather interior (Not the crappy brown color) with heated seats, full electrics. The only issue that I have with it is that the CD Player has crapped itself. Radio/Tape player (lol)still works, and you can put CDs into the 6 stacker, but it will simply not play. Modifications: - 18" genuine Nissan ARX wheels. - EZlip front rubber lip. - 20% window tint on front 2 windows to match rear privacy glass. - 350Z Non Brembo slotted and dimpled rotors on the front. I’ve simply used it as a film car for my business, and a daily commuter to and from the Bank. It doesn't get thrashed whatsoever, and is serviced meticulously. Washed every 2 weeks, and a full detail done every 8-12 weeks. As far as I’m aware, at this stage, it is one of only 2 for sale in NSW. I have full approval papers from Department of Infrastructure and Transport, as well as Japanese Export Certificate in PDF format, provided by the dealer, if you would like to peruse it.   18. I have had the car for 10 years this year and was one of the first stageas in western Australia, 260rs were not even available at that point. I owned it for 2 weeks and put in a rb26 and manual conversion from my previous car. The rb26 ended up getting modified abit too much and got defected and I put this more streetable engine combo (with very very responsive turbo) in and have only used it on rare occasions due to having a work car and buying a house and therefore only doing 5500km in the past 3 years since the motor was built.   19. Hi all Well I have been posting lots of questions and progress of my new Stagea. I plan to do a bit of work to her as I cannot help myself even with dailies so I thought I should make my own little build thread to keep my own little record, ask my stupid questions and share my new baby, so here goes. She is a Pearl white Series2 WGN34 manual 4WD RS4-S So how I came to own her, I have been slowly progressing through the skyline range as daily drivers, the first R chassis I loved was my R31 TI which served me well, purchased of an old guy and lightly modded to my liking. Sold this for my modified 32 gtst which I bought as I sold her, fully engineered at 220rwkw. Great to drive. Sold her for my 34gtt. Purchased of a mate stock and again lightly modded. The only issue with my 34 was the fact that it was silver and auto, neither of which I preferred. Playing around with the idea of doing another manual conversion and fixing bits of the body work up, I started on the lookout for a nice white manual 34 to sell into. While I was on my search the opportunity came about to get my hands on a factory manual RS4-S white C34 so I dipped my toes into the wagon world. A car I have always admired as I have always had a want for something a little different, something not every person can name off the top of their head …yes yes, nice Volvo mate. Mmmm Manual Random as f**k sticker which was since removed. No idea what it means. Bye bye 34 I was happy to get into a manual and happy with the car overall, she drove very well, servicing was good and up to date. It belonged to one of my mechanics mates, not a huge car person but enough to look after it and spend money where it was needed. Needed one hell of a tidy up though. The stag had a full turbo back exhaust, aftermarket wheels and the rest was stock so this is how she stayed for a while and took over my gruelling 700km per week daily duties. The clean-up began as this was in much need. The interior was filthy, these picks don’t even show how grimy it was. Seats were horrible, carpet needed cleaning, a few broken bits here and there which im working my way through but it did come with a simple boost guage, auto closing rear door, cargo blind and all electrics working a treat. Got stuck into it by hand with surprisingly good results. Which got a surprising amount out You can see the difference Just in the colour of the seats, again this pic doesn’t do it justice. The interior has been steam cleaned since but needs to be removed and done properly to make me a bit happier. I will be getting this professionally done soon. I have a work contact who spend 2 days removing the whole interior basically and going over every nook and cranny, something im still looking forward to. First real change was a simple swap over of wheels, the aftermarket wheels were not my taste and also I had just fitted brand new Potenza RE050 rubber on my 34 which were great and not something I wanted to loose, also a big fan of black wheels so on they went Got stuck into the paint and luckily it’s all in relatively good condition, a simple polish didn’t bring up too many hidden issues. Again it will get a full professional details soon enough. It unfortunately does have the usual stag rust spots, these are yet to be addressed Under mirror Rear wheel arch I Tinted the front windows Decided to stay legal meaning they don’t match the privacy glass in darkness but it dint worry me too much, looked better than the dicky front windows standing out and summer approaching Luckily through a local wrecker I picked up a pearl white dayz front bar, few chips and dents but not bad, gives it that more aggressive look for sure. The original front bar was a bit simple looking. Next on the list were the headlights, The driver’s side usual yellow fog cleaned up easily enough with a headlight restoration product and a good sealant. However they passenger side was losing its seal and condensation had gotten the better of the inside lens. This was as good as it was going to get without opening it up. So I bought a replacement from Fatz which cleaned up a treat. From . . . To Muuuuch better! Also picked up some eyelids, yet to fit

Do series 2 stagea come stock with Keyless entry? im not so sure as my car was imported and wasnt sure if the previous owner had them installed or thats how the car was made , also is their any other way to get a spare remote for these type of keyless entry cars as i want to get a spare since i only have one remote and key

  23. Hi Guys, A few questions here regarding the headlights on the M35. 1. For a while now I've had problems with the headlights cutting out (many times every time I drive it). It used to be only the passenger side lamp and figured I could swap the ballasts over to see if that's the problem however now it's both so I guess that isn't an option any more. I am assuming it's the ballast anyway but any thoughts as to how I would tell given that both cut out (at separate intervals - not at the same time). 2. Any one know what ballasts we can use? Preferably cheap ones? Or official model numbers? 3. I personal find the lamps pretty dull (doesn't help that you can't adjust them any higher than about 2ft in front of the car), any suggestions for a brighter bulb? 4. My passenger side parker lamp is also out, does anyone know the model number or aftermarket options? Sorry about all the questions but any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks all,
