Hey all , I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction in finding the correct aftermarket steering wheel hub for my car. I have a 93 (so late model) R32 GTST coupe with Hicas. I’ve already tried 2 different HKB hubs which were ON-110 and ON-115 and both are 1 notch off from top dead center so they keep throwing my Hicas light. Does anybody know which HKB hub is the right one for my specific car? Also fine with a different brand hub if anybody knows what will work, just want my wheel to be straight and my light to stay off lol

Aftermarket Steering Wheel Hey guys, I own a R34 Skyline. And i wanted one of those drifting steering wheel with coloured boss kits, However i wanted to confirm a few things. Q1: Is it worth purchasing expensive JDM steering wheels from japan (going to japan soon for a holiday trip so why not)? or is ebay 50 dollar steering wheel replicas good enough? Q2: my car is built in 1998 and has srs airbags, does this mean by law i am not allowed to remove the stock wheel and replace it with a non airbag drift wheel? (ADR69 law) Q3: How much will the defect notice fine cost me? is it serious? will the cops catch me? Q4: Is there such thing as a ADR aproved "Steering Wheel" becides being under 300mm - 330mm in diameter? *Note i am soon to be Ps and i dont want the cops running up my ass all the time. thanks. -Ryan

I'm a vegan (I.E I don't use any animal products for anything), Due to this I want to avoid buying a Leather steering wheel for my car. I'm looking for a deep dish wheel, and something vegan friendly. An Idea I have had for a long while now is to have one custom made and upholstered in Alcantara. Hi all, I'm new here. Prior posts have been very helpful on other topics, but I can't find much about this. I bought a 1991 (series 2) R32 GT-R with a factory steering wheel with airbag. I have some concerns since the airbag is 27 years old, and because it's ugly. Fist of all, does anyone know about the quality / safety of these airbags? Do these early airbags have a lifespan? Do you think it's safer to keep it active or unplug it? Also, does anyone know if the R32 had an airbag indicator or warning light? All newer cars with airbags do, but I can't seem to find one on the R32. What I'd really like to do is swap the R32 steering wheel for a newer one with an airbag. Does anyone know if the R34 factory steering wheel would fit? I would need it to work with HICAS, the horn, and the airbag. I would love to put a R34 GT-R or GTT wheel (see below) on if everything would fit and work properly. Thanks!

difference betweern r32 gtr steering wheels i have heard that there are 2 different r32 gtr steering wheel one from 1989- 1992 and one for 1993 - 1994, how can you tell the difference and are they interchangeable?

Series 2 R34 steering wheel. Hi all, Recently picked up a black series 2 R34, and it came with a steering wheel which didn't have the two tone trim (see image). The other thing I noticed it doesn't have, is any stitching along the inside of the wheel. Is it possible the two tone trim has just been removed or has this wheel come from elsewhere (and the series 2 airbag module has been kept)? The gaps between the airbag module are uneven, so my assumption was it had been swapped, but interested to see what others think.

Automatic vs Manual Steering wheel hey, i own a R34 skyline and it seemed to be swapped to manual (i bought it like this). I dont like how the steering wheel looks, the tiptronic buttons are just ugly in my opinion and i would like to swap them out for a manual one. I wanted to buy an aftermarket steering wheel, however, because my car was built in 1998, i need a ADR69 aproved steering wheel which is extremely hard to find and cannnot use cool drift steering wheels (live in the QLD and will get a defect notice) My question is. Can i do this without the check airbags light going off? what parts will i need to swap out? will the ECU accept it? i bought a manual nismo cluster which DID NOT work with my car, maybe because my ECU is still automatic. i dont know. so i was wondering how much and what parts will i have to buy to swap the steering will to a clean manual wheel and no silver tiptronic buttons on each side. thanks in advance !

Original GT-R 444cc Injectors with Resistor and plugs. Upgraded to 1000cc's so not needed. Worked perfect. $350. K&N M''s Intake Piping. Probably need new filters. Comes with Jecs air flow sensors and plugs. $200. Original GT-R Steering Wheel. Exceleent condition for age, tiny bit of roughening on top. $200. Original GT-R Fuel Pump. Worked perfectly. $75. Orignal GT-R Cam Gears. No signs of wear. $25. GReddy Boost Guage. Pretty good condition. Illuminates green. $50. HKS EVC Boost Controller. Worked fine. Bit tacky looking on top from being taped to dash. $100. Z32 Air Flow Sensor Plug. New plug, original wiring. $15. Ski chains for 14-18"" Wheels. See picture for exact sizes they fit. Why hire?? $75.
