Hello, i have HKS hyper D coil overs, front left one has a bad knock in it when going over sharp bumps. need to get a suspension place who knows what they are doing to take it apart and see whats wrong with it? any suggestions in western suburbs or the city? anyone ever gone to pedders with another brand shock? thanks. Guys and Girls, As topic states, I am chasing a set of used coilovers for my R32 GTR. Either Ohlins Flag-R, or NISMO R-tune, nothing else. Would prefer used, purely because of cost, but they would have to be in good condition. ie. no leaks. But if you have a new set, it cant hurt to offer. Hi guys, just a quick few questions and I'm hoping I can get some clarification. After a bit of searching I haven't been able to figure out the answers to my questions only a bit of flaky info here and there. Basically, my ultimate plan is to swap an RB26 into a 25GT coupe. Given that the 25GT's are a lot cheaper than GTT's at auction and I can get a much cleaner car for less money. Now, what I wanted to know is from my understanding the transmission is weaker in the non turbo's than the turbo coupes. Also I believe the diff is different, smaller brakes and no traction control? Now the big question is I read somewhere that the suspension geometry is different as well. Is this true? And I'm also fine with a weaker transmission and diff since those are both going to be replaced anyways. But... if the suspension geometry is different from the GTT and GTR then that's something I want to look into a bit more and understand how different it actually is. Can someone tell me without a doubt what the exact differences are between the GT and GTT. Cheers, Aaron (from Canada)

While my s1 was sitting for a month or two waiting for me to finish the water pump and cambelt replacement, it turns out the rear shocks leaked out and are now good for nothing. Earthquake ruined roads here are partially to blame. I've seen some advice on here about replacement shocks, mostly upgrading or lowering, neither of which I'm interested in. I just want to replace the standard shocks, unless it's no more expensive to upgrade. I've sourced a local supplier $153+GST each - Anyone in Chch/NZ know of a better price than that? (bear in mind 4WD) Is there anything particularly tricky to this replacement? Do I need special tools? If there is no guide on SAU (I couldn't find one) I'll see about documenting my steps. I'd appreciate any advice/tips on this job... Cheers

M35 rear shock top hat/mount Apologies if this has been covered before but does anyone know where I can buy new top hat/mounts for the rear shocks on an M35. Went to install my Nismo S-tune kit today and found the gaskets on the rear mounts had failed allowing a load of water to collect. The top nut is rusted to buggery and I can't remove the top hat/mount thing to put onto my new shocks. Any ideas anyone?

WTB: Nismo S tune suspension M35/PM35 [NSW] Hi guys, I'm looking to firm up the ride of my 350rx a little bit and give it a slightly better stance, but not looking to go super crazy with stiff coilovers. Nismo S tune shocks and springs seem to be my best bet, also because every other option I can find involves coil-over-shock in the rear of the car, which doesn't seem good for the car. Is there any second hand sets floating around Sydney?

Hey guys. So I've owned my stagea for a few months now. 1999 Rsfour and loving it. Unfortunately for me it is warrant of fitness time :c Stagea failed on sway bar links, front caster rod bushes and a few other simpler things. Now I'm finding it hard to locate replacement sway bar links and caster rod bushes. for the caster rod bushes, what is the benefit of an aftermarket one > http://justjap.com/zss-front-tension-castor-rod-set-nissan-skyline-gtr-r32-r33-r34.html < would this be a direct replacement ? confused as to why it says tension rod ... And anyone have any experience with whiteline adjustable sway bar links ? I assume i would need to buy the whole sway bar set up to use their adjustable links.

Is PM35 suspension same as M35? I've got a 2005 350RX and whilst it never handled like a go-kart, over the past year it's turned into a jelly boat - more body roll than the Michelin man and I'm getting wear on both shoulders of the rear tyres. Was under it the other day to change belts and brake rotors and it looks like the chassis end bush on the ??compression rod?? is torn on both sides, and the sway bar mount bushes are a bit knackered. I'm thinking it's time to swap the old rubber bushes out for urethane ones, but a bit lost trying to find part numbers. Does anyone know if the suspension is the same as the RWD 2.5L's? Are there aftermarket sway bars that would fit? I'm not really keen to lower since I regularly need the ground clearance getting in and out of a couple of driveways, but something needs to be done to reduce the body roll. BTW, I'm in NZ, but assuming that even if stuff isn't available locally, I should be able to get most stuff shipped across the ditch if necessary - just gotta figure out what to get!

The AWD M35 front suspension looks identical to the G35X (AWD V35 Skyline) suspension. Is anyone able to confirm that parts (struts/springs) are interchangeable? I know the RWD stuff is all mix'n'match. From the outside I can't see any differences. Perhaps someone might know where to look up the part numbers, I haven't had much success doing so. I ask as i'm looking for an airbag suspension kit for my NM35 Stag - there's a lot of well priced coilover/bag options for the G35X in the US. Not much that I can find is M35 specific, but Nissan being like Lego I am assuming they're the same. Attached is the front strut setup of a G35X - Let me know if you can spot any discernible differences. Thanks in advance!

Set of Keioffice coilivers to suit an RS4s (Fork end on the rear shocks). Suit rebuild as one has a bent shaft. I was going to rebuild them with BC shocks, but never got that far (Pretty sure the thread is the same) $200 ono, located in Carina, Brisbane. Can ship but would be pretty expensive.

Nissan stagea c34 1997/2 Auto AWD So, i have found some Lowering spring kits on RHDjapan and wondering if anyone have tried them out and have pic?? I woud like somthing that lowers -40/-40 just for it to be equal (dont want coilovers because of some laws with TUV) have alsow spoken with TEIN about custom lowering springs and got back that they coud make one of thise SKN78-G1B00 RATE: 2.5/3.1kgf RIDE HEIGHT: –40/-20mm SKN78-S1B00 RATE: 3.1/3.8kgf RIDE HEIGHT: –51/-25mm I woud like to lower the car "straigth" and not so it looks like it have a nose dive, but im not sure if you need to lower it more in front then the back because of weigth? Any imput woud be awsome! Since I have got one of each left, I'm selling a full set of these ready to go to stiffen up the big wagon. They are primed ready for whatever colour you choose to paint them. 1x 20MM front bar. Hi All, Been a while since I posted, so I thought I'd give you an update on the Wags. Rego was coming up fast and I couldn't figure out what the big knock in the suspension was so I ended up ordering a set of BC BR's because it seems like the easiest option. Between ordering and them arriving I slipped a couple discs in my back and had to get a mechanic to do the install. After telling him a few times I really didn't want it any lower He set the rear about an inch off full height of the coilovers and levelled the front to match. This is at least an inch lower than it was. I was already scrapping the rear bar getting in my driveway, so I wasn't looking forward getting in the yard, but damn, she looked pretty good. After beating the exhaust and the rear bar a few times I thought putting a sleeper along the driveway might help and for a couple days it did. Until I went on a bit too much of an angle and kicked the sleeper up. So um. If anyone has a rear bar going cheap... Otherwise I'm going to have to learn how to fibreglass in a hurry.
