Hello helpful people of SAU, Does anyone know the correct torque for the lug nuts on the M35? The wheels on it are aftermarket 18”, not sure if that makes any difference? Sorry for the noob question just about to set out on a long road trip in the stag and after losing a wheel on the last road trip I wanna be sure everything is perfect this time (provided no one tries to steal the wheels this time around haha). Any help/pre road trip tips would be greatly appreciated,

Gidday, I have done a 25det engine replant in my r32 and have kept my old front strut brace in place but have noticed that strut brace only just clears the engine by about .5mm! I have raise the strut brace as high as it will go, and slid the engine mounts as far down as they go and have only got .5mm of clearance between TPS and the brace. So, this leaves me worried as engines under load torque or twist the same way the crank spins, especially the rubber r32 engine mounts, so do i take the brace off and let the engine do its stuff or keep it on and when giving it heaps and let the brace flight against the twisting of the engine? If left on could this be bad for the struts and rip the brace off the threads? or would it be oky? im not sure what to think of this.

Hi all. Before anyone tells em to search, i have searched and have come up with so many different answers it's unbelievable. > RB25 head going on to RB30 block. > RB20/25 ARP 2000 head stud kit. RB25 service manual states tightening in increments, loosening off to zero, then tightening to 25-34 NM and then angle tightening 90-100 degrees. ARP kit says to install the studs hand tight into the block, put the head on and then lubricate the "stud threads, nuts and washers" with the provided assembly lubricant, then tightening the nuts in 3 equal steps to 108 NM. Now i have a few questions about the procedure. Are you supposed to put the assembly lube onto the stud thread before you put it into the block? Do the studs really just get put into the block hand tight? (Some people use the a hex key and tighten the stud before putting the nut on, which makes sense to me) I know this isn't *really* supposed to go in the forced induction section but as i am assembling the engine ATM i hope this will generate the quickest responses. Thanks all.

what hp should I expect Obviously my title is vague as hell, but it's meant as a fun guessing thread anyways. So my GTR is getting tuned. i have absolutely no idea what kw and torque I should be expecting. So here's the setup : - Shitty mushroom intakes - 3'' full exhaust. Don't know the brand. - 13PSI - HKS external BOV (he's gonna move the MAFs after the intercooler so that way the external BOV won't create issues anymore. - stock ECU, stock turbos, stock everything else - Getting rear wheel dynoed tune if that changes anything So let the guessing game begin. heres my absolutely wrong af guess 205rwkw and.... Uh... Some torque.
