Safe boost levels for -9 Equipped R34 GT-R Hey guys, I recently purchased a pair of GT2859R -9 turbos due to the stock ones having blade damage and needing a full rebuild. I was wondering since the new turbos provide more flow, what boost levels would be considered to be 'safe' on a completely stock RB26? I previously ran 1.00 bar on the stock turbos and the car seemed to run fine although I did notice the injector usage getting close and hitting 100% which makes me slightly concerned for the new turbos. Do you think the stock boost of 0.8 bar would be fine or possibly even less? Cheers, Nick.

Hi, It sounds like one of my HKS GT-SS turbos is failing ( getting the low siren noise when accelerating ). They would not have many K's on them and was considering just buying a single replacement turbo . They don't appear to make GT-SS turbos themselves anymore so I would have to get the Garrett GT2859R's. I don't really want to upgrade turbos at this stage as I'd be up for another $2500 for a tune alone. A single turbo is $1400 vs a new kit at about $2,500 for the Garrett GT2859R kit. What do you guys think? I think it would be best just to replace the single with a GT2859R. Thanks, Pen

Nismo GT Le-mans Group A turbos. RR581's Both were rebuilt less than 2000kms ago by Turbologic, one however will need a rebuild due to something getting sucked down the intake pipe and damaging the bearings and compressor wheel. The housings have no damage at all and would just need a rebuild, the other one just had a full build with new shaft, wheels, bearings and seals. These were making 558.4 hp at the treads on my current GTR with other supporting mods. I have spoken with CAMS and these can be used in events such as Targa Tasmania and are the largest turbos allowable for competitions that require "standard" turbo configurations. Looking for $600 ono for the pair throw me some offers...need them gone this week... Have a few standard R32 GTR parts for sale aswell... Hey all, I have a fair amount of R32 GTR gear in my house that I no longer need so want to try and get rid of it all. All prices are just a rough estimate and I am negotiable on all of them so make me sensible offer and I will probably say yes. I don’t mind posting the smaller stuff (at the buyers expense) but some of the bigger/heavier items I would rather have picked up. Need this stuff gone a.s.a.p. so will be very negotiable on prices. Guys and Gals, I have for sale a set of 4 TE37s in 17 x 9.5" with a +12ish offset (not 100% sure). They have been resprayed in satin black (were originally bronze as the back side of the face has not been sprayed and you can see it), and they have nismo decals instead of the Rays Engineering and TE37 ones. All four rims have light rash and a few paint chips on the spokes, as whoever had them before me obviously couldnt drive to save their life, however in saying that, they could be easily repaired. No dents or buckles, they roll true. They come free with a set of shagged Toyo R888, as i used them as my track rims. Had them on my white R32 GTR and it looked tough as. Will no longer be needing them as doing a brake upgrade and they wont fit inside the rims anymore, so they gotta go. Price $2000 or best offer. HKS 2510 Turbo's with GTX2863 compressor wheels Ok all. To be transparent, they do not suit a standard RB26 very well. Made the power of a -9, with more lag than a -5. They might be useful for someone who wants to use the cores, re-use the housings or re-work the turbine to suit the GTX wheel. They come with brand new Garrett 15 psi actuators as well. Still on the car, but will be removed at the end of the month. Considering i paid $2500 for them, all i want to do is cover the cost of me putting my GT-SS's back on. 1K, or $500 per turbo if the SR boys take an interest

Cat back stainless steel exhaust including cat to suit r32 gtr is 3.5in with no step downs. Cat is a venom metallic 100cel center muffler is a magna flow and rear muffler is a Kakimoto for that jdm look. Was not excessively noisy and had no drone on cruise. Only selling cause going bigger $600onolast up I have a set of -5s, the bearing seem fine and the wheels haven’t touched the housing but I think the seals were leaking. gtx 3582 tial stainless steel a/r 1.0 ($650 is seep on these housings) PERFECT CONDITION these were on a v8 so obviously not much boost was put through them, 18psi was high boost that was used a few times, all the rest of the time was 14psi. front housing not included as these are small housings machined to fit because we were low on space (or you could have them if you think you'll use them) 1500 ONO each 0404301881

i have for a sale a complete R34 GTR engine/motor. comes complete with all intake side, injectors, plenum, all exhaust side, turbos etc. starter motor, altinator, everything! Only reason i have taken the motor out is because i bought and built a new motor, head, modified everything, and didn't want my car off the road for months. so i done all the work to another motor then just switched them over. HISTORY: motor came out of the car with 92000kms on the clock. is factory except for HKS cam gears. has been running 15psi by previous owner and me. no service history, and i have not done the major service either, as i planned to heavily modify. ran fine in the car, pulled hard. and is unopened. Wreckers ask 7 grand for a complete r34 motor, (the rare occasion when they pop up for sale). (can confirm its a 34 motor from the engine number) so $4400 is reasonable. PRICE is negotiable, and i have other GTR parts you may want, and we can negotiate in the price.
