Howdy folks I've managed to get hold of a Nismo G-Max twin plate clutch, pull type to suit 34 GTT Upon general inspection it looks very good, however I thought I'd run it by everyone hoping for some confirmation Measurements are as follows - Outer friction plate - 2.92mm, Inner friction plate 2.8mm. Spacer plate 12.74mm. The clutch disc itself if 1.62mm thick, so there is a decent amount of visible meat left on the plates Looking at specs new, they are 3.5mm new, out of spec at 2.5mm for the friction plates. My gut feel is that it's fine to use as is, but I'm having trouble finding any specs about the thickness of the spacer plate that sits between the plates So, 2 questions - am I right in thinking that its within spec and OK to use And 2, is there any way of double checking once it's all done up to make sure it's got enough clamp pressure. I kind of expected the bolts to squash everything onto the pressure plate a lot more than it seems to when I assemble it I'm pretty easy on clutches, the single plate 5 puck NPC i've got at the moment has lasted over 110,000kms of day to day driving Cheers, Chris
