Hi guys, It is with great regret that I'm putting my pride and joy up for sale, the one and only Original Godzilla, the R32 GT-R. Those here in WA will have seen this car in social media being posted on Facebook by Enthusiast Groups, but most have never seen in real life due to it being kept in a warehouse for most of the time I have owned it and starting it on most weekends to keep the battery going and the oil moving. Well, now its up for sale. The paint on this car is still the factory Pearl Blue which is a special order on the V-specs (according to an independent site, only around 300 ever produced in this colour and 1 of 2 known in WA. This guy went to Fuji Speedway for the biggest GTR Meet in the world and only saw 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6bQVhE72CWQ, skip to 10:41 haha, but check out the rest of the video too lol). Lots and lots of fruit and plenty of money has been spent on it!! She has been driven less than 2000kms in the time I have owned it which is about 1.5 years. Just paid for rego for another 6 months. If you're a serious buyer, get in touch with me and I can go through the vehicle in more detail and tell you the history of the vehicle. You will not find another that is in this condition with the original paint on still. There are some touching up that may be needed on the rear bumper due to sun damage from previous owner but I didn't want to fix as I wanted to keep everything as original as possible body wise. Lots of other things are not mentioned either. NOT for the faint hearted and inexperienced drivers. Traction is lost on all 4 wheels in 2nd gear when hitting boost!! Tuned to over 600HP+ and has been driven on safe tune and low boost at 550hp. Engine is very healthy and T88 set up is still relatively new. Reason for sale: car is hardly EVER used and hardly sees sunshine or the public eye, and I'm just paying for insurance, rego and warehouse storage costs. Ask all the guys with the best GTR's in WA and they will vouch for it. Rather another fellow enthusiasts who has been waiting for a rare and clean R32 monster enjoy it. So the guys who have been waiting, here it is guys. Make me an offer before someone else takes it. She even has the original glove compartment key. R32 GT-R: WTB OEM or similar boot sound matting/insulation Hi everyone, I need to replace the OEM sound matting/insulation in the boot of my R32 V-Spec. It is having some work done in the boot and the original needs to be removed and replaced. Does anyone know where to get anything like the original textured sound matting/insulation that is bonded to the boot floor behind the spare? Please see the comedically large yellow arrow in the image below. I want to try for an exact match. The car is completely stock. Any help would be great! Cheers! Mike

Looking for mainly midnight purple, dark pearl grey, deep marine blue. something a bit more unique than your average 33 GTR. Just seeing whats available at the moment as i've looked on carsales and gumtree and nothing really catching my eye. Closer to stock the better, i'm located in WA and local would be better but ill consider over east for the right car. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!

Ceramic impeller destruction So I finally got my car back. Ceramic impeller on the back turbo went during a standard service at the shop i regularly visit. Fortunately I have a warranty on the car and the engine replacement was covered. I have attached some pictures to show what happened. The shaft on the left is what usually happens when the ceramic impeller decides to let go, but mine actually spun itself out of the shaft press fitting. The piston in the picture was #6, and it was in the best shape of the bunch #4 & #5.The piston walled were completely gouged and the valves took a beating as well. The shop was just returning from a short run around the block and on deceleration so the materials ended up in the cylinders and the impeller in my new exhaust pipe. The funny thing is I was just scheduling a return date to have the turbos built with billet internals...Well now they are. Seasoned block, re-built heads, new crank, new pistons, refurbed rods..now she is back on the road. If you are ever in the NT and you need the best Skyline / GTR mechanic within 1200km..Dion over at AutoSparky in Alice Springs is your man. I can't thank him enough for all he did. This man is truly a wizard among the GTR ranks.

Hey guys, So, I'm just a young web developer with an R33 GTR. My big boss happens to own 5/6 business in the area and one of them happens to do vinyl wrapping. She told them about my car and they offered to wrap my car for free! Why? Because I live in the whitsundays region and the most cars are 4x4's or soccer mum cars. So my car kinda sticks out, as it should I do have many questions/opinions about vinyl wrapping. What's a good design? What's a good colour scheme? What do you think goes well with what and where? (e.g 2 tone, black top, red bottom) I am aiming for somewhat minimal design. Kinda like the trueno on Initial D. black on bottom and few stripes. I'm leaning towards black as primary colour for vinyl. But open to any other outrageous suggestions as I think this will be fun Was also thinking on doing a vinyl like the BMW E3 on NFS most wanted, I think that'll be sick lol! Hey Guys, Been a member here for a year or so - when I was hunting around some information on R32's, SAU was the obvious choice to expand my knowledge. I am coming to this automotive realm from the happy, innocent and quite often sheltered life of Honda's. One of those things you don't realise how 'retarded' your car views have become until you step away. I will say however owning Honda's has made me appreciate even the slightest increase in power, and at the same time I've become fastidious with cleaning, maintaining and adoring even the most basic of cars. So to bring this thread to the present, I have decided to take a plunge out of the unknown and begin my love and adoration for GTR's, in particular the R32. I have always planned on owning one, but to be honest I thought at the age of 24, this would still be a couple years off. Thankfully, Ive returned from O/S with some experiences and cash still in the back pocket. In particular, I am looking for a very clean, mostly original, and tight R32 GTR V-Spec. Something a little special that I can hold onto and cheerish till my children can then appreciate a fine 'group a' inspired production car. Please let me know if you are aware of any vehicle that meets this very broad description, very keen to start my journey. New R33 GTR Owner Hi Guys, Just a quick intro. My name is Kevin and I took delivery of my R33 GTR V-Spec only last week. 'Been admiring Skylines for a long time and finally took the plunge'. The car is in great condition with only a few minor upgrades. Recaro Seats HKS Muffler Inlet Pods Everything else is standard. - even still has the restrictor in the boost line. My plans are to keep it standard as much as possible and try and resist the urge to modify. Will hopefully catch up with some of you guys at the next meet. Kevin McGilvray

Hey guys! Finally got my car approx 2 weeks ago and already popping with questions! Got my car back from the shop today (major service) and apparently the car is only going three quarters as fast as it should be! I tried to research the problem but have no flippin' idea what I'm looking for! Apparently when you put the foot down the turbo.. cuts in and out? like it's there, then not there, then there again. I didn't notice this until I put my foot down to understand what the mechanic was on about. He said it may be electrical(went into jargon I couldn't understand lol)? I was hoping for some input/thoughts to give the mechanic the next time I see him as they charge lots by the hour lol Only changes done (related to problem) is the boost restricter being removed. so instead of 7psi, it's 14psi. But I don't see the boost gauge use all 14 pounds. Apparently this isn't the problem, I don't know. Any ideas would be fantastic! Cheers in advance guys!

Hi Guys, I need some help with this, I'm looking to buy a GTR V-Spec and noticed that there are stress marks/ripples at both ends where the front strut is fitted (see photo). The car's got BC Racing BR Coilovers and the guys mentioned that it is set to medium for daily drive, he also claims that the car's never been tracked. Maybe someone didn't knew what they were doing when they fitted the Coilovers but again why would you go to someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Anyway any help will be appreciated to understand if this is a worry and should I be staying clear from the purchase. Note: . The stress marks are not that large but for some reason seems quite large in the pic. Thanks Just noticed that this post was submitted 4 time, not sure what happened...please ignore other same posts.
