Hi everyone, really hoping someone can help me with an issue ive been having! Ive been battling this for a while not with my 2001 300GT (VQ300DD). I have a constant current draw on my battery which drains it if I leave the terminals connected for a more than a few days, battery seems fine if I just unplug it whenever im not using it I disconnected negative terminal and measured current draw across the battery with everything off and it is ~400mA. I understand this should be closer to ~50mA. I trawled the internet for wiring diagrams and the only one I could find was a Russian version, ive attached a screenshot below and labelled what I think are relevant sections. I pulled fuses and discovered the issue with the 15A fuse that controls quite a few components.. From the fuse I went to the relay labelled 1 located in the IPDM cluster and put a jumper across coil terminals first and then relay terms. I discovered that the fault was on the relay circuit and not the coil circuit, this lead me to believe that the issue could lie with the components labelled as group 3 below. Im realising now that group 2 is off this circuit as well which I haven't checked.. Group 3 consists of MAF sensor, camshaft position sensors and crank shaft sensor. I pulled all the wire harnesses on these but did not see any change in current draw so concluded these to not be the issue. I then unplugged the ECCS labelled 4 and the current dropped to ~130mA From here Im not too sure how to proceed, does this mean my ECU is bad or could it be any other device connected to the ECU?? Im reluctant to buy a replacement ECU before being certain I know where the fault lies.. Im also curious as the current draw is still slightly higher than expected.. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Up for sale is a Series 3, 2006 CPV35 front bumper (also called the Sports bumper in the U.S). Whilst the top half is the same as the earlier Gens, the bottom half was redesigned by Nissan. I've put a comparison picture of this (miscellaneous Google images). As you can see, there are some scuffs and bumps and a split on one side. I believe the previous owner had put front parking sensors so there are cut-outs for that along with the rego plate holder. Can be filled/patched and painted. It's missing the tow hook cover as well. Please note, earlier gen aftermarket lips do not fit this (unless you mod/trim but would better either to find a S3 specific variant or go custom). Looking for $400 ONO Pick up Eight Mile Plains 🙂

Hi guys, The time has come to sell my V35. I'm willing to swap for a Mitsubishi Evolution 7, 8, or 9 or Subaru 06+ WRX STI plus cash adjustment your way if required. Must be registered and all import compliances etc in order. Going rate seems to be 14-17k, so something around here is good. I just purchased an '03 Skyline 350GT coupe and since studying VicRoads documentation, I've become nervous about the RWC check given that workshops are under tighter restrictions. The seller was a mechanic and assured me that all modifications took place in Japan, prior to the car being imported. It is currently registered, however I need to supply VicRoads with a RWC in order to transfer the car into my name. Hi guys I got a complete car, runs and everything but cannot be complied. So here is the story it was imported obviously to be complied and registered but it had a front repair and thanks to that the compliance workshop refused to comply it as they reckon according to the law they cant comply it and it has to be disposed off. Car starts and runs fine. here are the details 2003 Pearl White Skyline 350GT premium 52,700 kms with original de-reg paper interior grade was B, so its very clean Half leather seats in very good condition All airbags intact All electrics working like bose stereo, power windows, power locks, just to name a few Its also got Tein Comfort sport fully adjustable suspension, just did a quick google search, these cost around $2000 brand new in japan Also has rear factory side pods 350z wheels Again this is only usefull for race or parts purpose. Im not thinking to part so selling whole car as is. I personally imported this vehicle from Japan in June 2008 and have enjoyed its company ever since. I am selling only due to an offer on a Phantom Black Audi RS5 which I couldn't refuse. Sad to see my V35 Skyline sedan go. Find it on ebay (item no. 121424665163) I imported back in 2007. This was a genuine Auction grade 4.5 car with papers to prove it. Only one owner in Japan and had only verified 32100kms when we purchased it. It has been kept and maintained as it should and service receipts are provided with the car. im looking for a new stereo head unit to put in my v35 and i just keep getting confused by all the options. all i want is something that is compatiable with my sony xperia z1 android phone so i can play spotify through it and that will fit in nicely in the interior looks. probably a 2 din too. does anyone have any suggestions on a good head unit or any that i should stay as far away from as possible. cheers tom

After owning this car for about 14 months its time for me to sell. I moved to an apartment with no car park and as a result the car has sat in my parents garage for about 6 months and I have driven it 3 times during that period. I took it to get a pink slip (because i forget that rego wasn't due til September) and my mechanic told me i had done 2 or 3000 kms since my last pink slip. Its a total waste sitting there. I bought it off a forum member mid last year because it was the best looked after example I saw plus it came with some goodies. I have copy pasted a chunk of his for sale post because really little has changed. This should cost about $300 bucks or so to fix and I have factored it into the price. Rego is due in September Price wise I'm after about 14k considering that there isn't much rego left.
