  3. Hi team, I have been following threads on this site for years and referring back to it whenever I'm in need of GTR advice. The R33 GTR has forever been my dream car and i recently purchased my very own around months ago at 24 years old. I inspected multiple R33's before finding my ideal one. Here is a basic description and some photos of my ride: 1995 Skyline R33 GTR V Spec in QM1 HKS GT2530 Twin Turbo Kit Complete HKS Exhaust with custom modification to Y pipe (straight through stainless steel from cat to rear muffler) Blitz FMIC Link G2 Ecu (yes i know it is old) BC Gold Coilovers Nismo Air Filter Oil Catch Can with Braided Lines These photos are prior to me purchasing my new wheels Cheers!!!

R33 GTR Vspec -MNP targa car My targa spec R33 GTR is up for sale. very regretful but don't have the time to do the build I want to do. as mentioned this a targa Tasmania spec car and was very competitive. Main build was done back in 2007 after import and only saw targa events from then onwards. Few mods - DMS Motorsport coilovers. All arms adjustable, Hardrace mainly. Brembos need a paint job but still work a treat, running forza FR6 pads (literally brand new) Could do with new rotors, ATTKD 2 piece from Just jap are my go too. Enkei RPF1 18x9.5 - 265 RS3 all round Rotor something 18x9.5 spare set yokohama s drive's - these were a wet or street set 6 point weld in CAMS certified cage with harness bar, will come with CAMS log book. Side intrusion is very easy to get into and out of even for me who is 6'7, interior trim still in but cut to fit cage. Will come with simple bucket seats as I only just purchased the Sparco and it is very bloody hard to get seats that fit my fat ass so not keen to part with it. 5 point harness' Aftermarket helical cut gearset (not 100% sure what, told ppg) opc clutch. Held a 6-700 hp motor before this motor. Running Haltech plat pro, Haltech wideband & gauge, Can HUB, 3 bar map sensor, Haltech boost solenoid (18psi) terra trip rally computer and terra trip intercom system, tuned on E85 @ godzilla motorsport (made 300kw) motor has n1 turbos custom stainless intake piping with pods, 1250cc bosch inj, aeroflow fpr, dual feed rail with stainless braided fuel lines from back to front, AI sp1200 surge tank and holley dominator external pump + walbro 460 lift pump, oil cooler with T'd in Braided line to boot for Moroso Accusump, Split fire coil packs, have a spare set as well. Baffled catch can with breather. My aim was to put everything in needed to support a big power motor and aside from an extended sump it is pretty much there. Most the hard work is done. was waiting on extended sump to plumb the catch can drain back to sump. I literally copied this whole setup from another track 33 gtr that ran consistently for 4 years and only met its death due to engine bay fire caused by fuel line split. It is the best setup you can do to save an RB before going to dry sump (arguable statement) Aircon still in great working order, perfect for sitting in pit lane waiting to go on a bloody hot QLD day. This car had a monster motor which made up to 700hp but motor spun a bearing so a reconditioned one went in and is about 18,xxx old, Nismo 320km cluster reads 92xxx Car was registered in Tasmania and has a mod plate for seats. Was about to sort out the mod plate for cage and a few other things but dont have the time to do what I want to do anymore. Would look at swaps for other cars of interest, street cars, 4x4, Track only cars etc. I am not going to pretend this a concourse condition car it certainly has marks and scratches in places and the sills are not in perfect condition. This was and is a track based car, what I can say is it has been very well looked after over the years in terms of maintenance. Consistent oil, oil filter, fuel filter changes and spark plugs just changed. Always used Penrite 10 tenths 15w 50/60. Have just picked up the new Nulon racing oils 10w-50 and was keen to see how it performs @ $110 for 5L it aint cheap and would stack up over a race season so I am hoping it is an epic new oil. Price is $36k Also have a semi enclosed trailer for an extra $5k Plenty more pics and info just PM if interested.

For Sale: 1999 Nissan Skyline R34 GTR Vspec Location: Central Coast, NSW Price: $110,000 The car has roughly 94,000kms on chassis and roughly 30,000km on the engine (was replaced by previous owner before I purchased car) I have auction records and de registration papers from Japan, it was auction grade 4.5 with 52,000km on the nismo odometer. I've owned the car for 10 years and only had to service and replace turbo's and the radiator, everything else was done by previous owner aside from wheels and bonnet which I changed. The car runs 330kw's at the wheels on 21 psi and 300kw's at the wheels on 18psi - running on just premium 98 octane fuel Recently has had paint correction and detail performed by Leading Edge Detailing in Silverwater and shows how good of condition the paint work is still in and the car in general. The car has rego till September this year and also is engineered.   6. Hi All, I’ve done a search and couldn’t find anything on this specific topic. On startup I have this weird buzzing sound from the rear of the car which goes away in about 10 seconds. It’s definitely not the fuel pump. Sounds like something 4WD or HICAS related pressurising? It can be heard intermittently for about 2 seconds every 30 seconds or so after the first “prime”. Is it a normal V-Spec thing, or am I losing pressure somewhere? Hope someone can shine some light on this. Thanks!
  7. The time has come for me to sell my 1994 R32 GTR V-SPEC. Year: 1994 Make: Nissan Model: Skyline R32 GTR V-SPEC Colour: KL0 Spark Silver Metallic Odometer: 55xxx kms Price: 50,000 AUD Location: Perth, WA This is a February 1994 V-SPEC, the last of the V-SPEC 1s before the V-SPEC 2 was introduced in March 1994 (V-SPEC 1 #1352 of 1396). Reason for sale – I bought this car 7 years ago, before marriage and children. Unfortunately, as much as I’d love to keep it as a future collectable, it just doesn’t work as a second family car. In my time of ownership I think I would have done less than 6,000kms. Recent service – by August 2018 the car had sat for 18 months while I built a new house. I took it to Galvsport here in Perth for a full service. In addition to the usual engine oil / gearbox oil / sparkplugs, I had the injectors cleaned, a bunch of fuel hose / wastegate hose / steering hose replaced and dump pipe re-wrapped. The entire rear subframe was also removed so that all subframe bushes could be replaced along with gearbox crossmember bushes, wheel alignment done, etc. New Optima D34 dry cell battery was put in the car last month.   10. Gday all, a big hello from VIC! This is not the typical intro where I already have a skyline. I'm starting to dream about getting a GTR. It's always been the car of choice in older Gran Turismo games (Calsonic livery) and was mesmorised when it totally killed the touring car competition in the early 90s. Not in the market (or budget) to get a R34 Nur so not top end. But I'm thinking about getting something like a R32 Vspec II. A R34 Vspec would be nice but that probably would be another $30K? I know that prices have increased heaps especially if I'm looking for one that is under 80,000kms. And need to be on the lookout for dodgy odometer readings and rust. I love working on cars and looking after them but have to admit also slightly intimidated adding a fourth car to a NSX, turbo forester and golf R32 (I know, imagine having two R32s...haha). Not in a rush and may not even happen...but thought I'd share this dream...
  11. Hi Been reading these boards for a while. Wanted a GTR since I played Gran tourismo 20+ years ago. I have 3 cars now with the most recent purchase being a Black GTR R33 VSPEC. My mrs doesnt know I bought it because I picked it up after I dropped her to the airport hahaha. She will have a nice suprise when she gets back. I already have a E46 M3 track car and a Evo x road car. The GTR has a sheet load of mods. FMIC, 4" Exhaust, R34 N1 BB turbos, cams....all the normal fruit. After making my own presentation, it's time to make it with my (wonderful) Skyline I buy her in the first week of november 2015, after 8 month of search. I dreaming of that car 17 yrs, and i don't want to see it turning in nightmare, that's why i have making a loooong search when i finally found her in a pro shop in UK. She's have 58 000km, Vspec, White and have a lot of nismo options !     Looking for mainly midnight purple, dark pearl grey, deep marine blue. something a bit more unique than your average 33 GTR. Just seeing whats available at the moment as i've looked on carsales and gumtree and nothing really catching my eye. Closer to stock the better, i'm located in WA and local would be better but ill consider over east for the right car. SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT!

I am solid at this amount. do not bother low balling me Bad points small crease on left rear quarter and the bonnet pins on the paint work air con idle hasn't been set up correctly in the power fc, stalls after a minute on idle drivers mirror doesn't fold in with switch wheels need to be re balanced. Slight vibration in steering at 100km. Only started when i put these wheels I will consider swapping for a s15 with a proper cash adjustment. Needs to be adm, factory blue, sunroof, cloth seats and factory turbo/manual. dont bother trying to swap me a piece of shit.

Removing an rb25de/det + gearbox Before I get any heroes, leave your negativity with your huge ego ay what do i need? - a simple but detailed explanation of how to remove an rb25de/det + gearbox. but anyway, hopefully this is an easy one for yous I searched, read, and googled a lot. But, I haven't the right forums or a detailed enough explanation to run with. So, what im asking is if there is anyone on here that believes that they 'know' the best/right way of removing an rb25de/det engine + gearbox. This will a first time experiencing removing an engine plus box so the more detailed and well explained tutorial the smoother this process will go. I have watched a lot of videos, which has covered a lot of steps to remove an engine. Though It seems almost no one does it the same way, some people remove a lot of components where some only remove 'the basics'. Watching lots of different videos and reading stacks of information is pretty overwhelming. If someone could post a thread, find a thread, link me a thread/ video/ anything that you think would help it would be appreciated. what do i need? - a simple but detailed explanation of how to remove an rb25de/det + gearbox.
  20. Ceramic impeller destruction So I finally got my car back. Ceramic impeller on the back turbo went during a standard service at the shop i regularly visit. Fortunately I have a warranty on the car and the engine replacement was covered. I have attached some pictures to show what happened. The shaft on the left is what usually happens when the ceramic impeller decides to let go, but mine actually spun itself out of the shaft press fitting. The piston in the picture was #6, and it was in the best shape of the bunch #4 & #5.The piston walled were completely gouged and the valves took a beating as well. The shop was just returning from a short run around the block and on deceleration so the materials ended up in the cylinders and the impeller in my new exhaust pipe. The funny thing is I was just scheduling a return date to have the turbos built with billet internals...Well now they are. Seasoned block, re-built heads, new crank, new pistons, refurbed rods..now she is back on the road. If you are ever in the NT and you need the best Skyline / GTR mechanic within 1200km..Dion over at AutoSparky in Alice Springs is your man. I can't thank him enough for all he did. This man is truly a wizard among the GTR ranks.
  21. Looking for an unmodified or Nismo parts only (exhaust, air intake excepted) GTR VSPEC 2.R34 in Bayside Blue. Money/budget is no problem for the right car If anyone knows any dealer/site in Japan (aside from auctions - I am checking these) I am happy to go down that route as well. Any suggestions welcome. WANT TO BUY R33 GTR Currently seeking a late model R33 GTR strongly prefer stock 1997 or 1998 series 2 or 3 in midnight purple but will definitely look at every model, color and mods, but must be clean.   23. Location: Perth, W.A. Price: $125,000. Genuine BNR34 GTR V-Spec N1 for sale. Current mileage shows approx. 17700km. The chassis numbers were run through Nissan confirming genuine N1. The N1 block is stamped 24U, It has a larger factory oil cooler, no air-conditioning, black side mirrors, no stereo and no rear wiper arm. The standard size wheels with the car were BBS RG-R in Diamond Black, which from what we can tell may have been an alternative factory option, considering also that BBS made the standard BNR34 GTR wheels. Log books are present and maintained, and current registration is until September 15. The car has the following modifications: -Nismo 320km.h dash, -Nismo expanded MFD, -Nismo Weldina Exhaust - cat. back, -Nismo G-Attack R-Tune coilovers, -Nismo Circuit Links and Stabilizer kits, and -Nismo Nismo R-Tune Brake Pads. -Nismo full intake piping kit, -Nismo Intake Plennum, -Nismo Fuel Pump, -Nismo Fuel Regulator, -Nismo Oil/Air separator, -Nismo Super Coppermix twin plate clutch, -Nismo Smoke Indicators (still have std.), -Nismo duracon gear shift knob (also, still have std.), and -Nismo floor mats. Non-factory fitment: -Falken ZE912 @85-90%, -Cusco adjustable rear uppers (to fix camber after reducing ride height with coilovers), -Cartracks Alarm/vehicle tracking system, -Window tint, legal, and -Odyssey PC680 AGM Battery. For me, the car has been a weekender and as a result I have been able to take every opportunity to avoid driving in the rain, however, it was of course driven as such a couple of times. Servicing was predominantly undertaken by Fabcar in Perth, and by myself. Lubricants sourced from Japan and stuck with Nismo Competition Oil by Motul and i've stuck exclusively with BP 98 octane fuel. There is absolutely no evidence I have found of any accident damage, and she has certainly been safe in my hands. Only a couple of imperfections on her. There's a couple of tiny scratches. One on the rear near the boot key, one on the rocker cover and some scratches on the plastic rear diffuser vanes. Pedals, gear shift boot and seats are all in perfect condition. She also has one of the N1 stickers on the back that Terry had manufactured. Any further questions, please ask. Photos below. More photos available on request. Serious enquiries only please guys.   24. Hey guys. Just picked up this GTR diff I was told was a Vspec also. Opened it up to weld and is much different to what I'm used to. Some say clutch pack and pull apart to weld but some say it's an aftermarket centre. 1.5 or 2 way. Can anyone confirm? Thanks.
  25. Taking too long to stop your doped out R chassis so you can holla at some hot ass girls on the street? Then look no further. These came off my GTR and have only traveled 45,000kms (verified with Japanese department of transport) What you get: 2x Front Brembo Calipers and High quality racing pads 2x Front 330mm Factory Rotors 2x New Non ADR approved brake lines 2 x Factory Brake lines I will supply the rotors machined ready to go. Perfect big brake upgrade for your S or R chassis. If you want to stop like a mofo, this will do it. Happy to post at buyers expense. I *May* be able to organise cheap postage to Brisbane if you can pick it up from a Depot. $1150, plus whatever postage comes to. Thanks.
