Hi everyone, The other night at just past 5am there was attempted theft of my Stagea in the south-east suburbs of Melbourne. I was fortunate enough to see them drive away in what was another Stagea. White in colour with a black & white license plate (unfortunately I couldn’t get the number). It seems these garbage humans are scouting out other Stageas to steal for whatever reason. I just wanted to put out a warning to other Stageas in the area to lock your babies up and keep them safe.

V36 Battery & Brake Warning Light ON!! Hey guys, So, I was on my way to work this morning, then slowing down, my car kind of jerked/hesitated and then battery light came on. Then drove for a few seconds then saw the Brake light come on as well. I was doing a little bit of research and it says that the alternator might be on its way. Can anyone confirm? Also they've said that it might be grounding issue. How do I check if I have a bad alternator? Battery is only about a year old. Thanks in advance guys

Hello everyone, I've recently bought a 1996 R33 from Origin Concepts in Lansvale NSW. I got the car I wanted, but also got a big hassle also. I'm posting this to warn anybody who might try and do business wit these people. I bought a 1996 R33 GTST with 85,000 km on the clock for $11,800. I paid at the upper end of market value as I figured buying from a dealership would eliminate some of the dishonesty. Boy was I wrong!! It turned out that the odometer was faulty and only clocked KMs intermittently; which means the actual KMs are more than what was indicated. I took thecae to Unique Autosports in Castle Hill (very nice people) and paid them to look the car over. They estimate that the car really has between 130k and 150k KMs by the wear and tear on the car. There's some other stuff too, but I won't bore you with it. Anyway, the dealership has refused to own up to selling a car with a faulty odometer and has been jerking me around for the past 30 days with it. I've decided to file a complaint with Fair Trading to see if the can/will help resolve the issue. We will see where that goes... Anyway, be warned and do NOT buy things from these people without having them checked out by someone else BEFORE you give them any money! In the meantime, I will be surfing this site to get ideas on things to do to the car and places to buy parts from. Thanks for reading and spread the bad news so nobody else get take advantage of!

Model: V36 2009 I had this light on since I bought the car, originally being told it was just the bonnet light... But soon realised it was more than that, but at least it should just be a reset job as the light comes on when removing the front bar even... So I went to a Nissan dealership to get it reset (as the dealership I bought it from said they didn't have the equipment) to be told that they don't have the tools to do it. I haven't thought much since, and it went through rego last year fine. But this year it is now sitting at the rego place and he won't pass it with the light on. Any suggestions? I tried the Nissan dealership again and they said they ca't do imports. I told them that I thought that if they can scan the R35 GTR's they should be able to scan this. He said no they can't. I am really stuck now as it runs out of rego tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions? I read about turning the ignition off and on in the right timing but I think that just send it to diagnostics mode yes, so will still need Nissan Consult hardware/software? I live in SW Sydney (Camden to be precise)

I've developed a bit of a problem with my R34 lately. Every know and then either as I'm driving or when I start the car up the following happens: Tachometer, speedometer and engine temperature gauge stop working Check engine light comes on TCS OFF and Slip light comes on HICAS Light comes on Central locking stop working Cigarette lighter dies Then eventually they will all start working again. Car runs fine the entire time. Any suggestions on problem/cause/solution or if anyone has experienced this before? Cheers!
