  1. WTB: Innovate LC1 or LC2 Controller, SYD Current one shat itself so after a replacement. Cheers!
  2. I have R33 S2 GTST with Vipec ECU which i believe is the same as a Link G4. I have a Innovate LC2 wideband with gauge and need to know where the Brown wire goes. - i read it goes to AN Volt input (any free ones) but which one ??? There is ECU Expansion 2 - 5V "An Volt 2" but you need the XS Vipec Loom , is there any other wire that can be used? I also have a MAC/Vipec 3 port Boost solenoid that has 2 wires (one for 12V switched) and one for DPO / PWM Output... Where is to be wired to ? http://www.vi-pec.com/techdata/diagrams/boost-control-solenoid-diagrams Says take the wire to Aux X - where is the AUS X? which spare wire can be used as "X"... Thanks everyone...
  3. hey ho thinking of changing my innvoate wideband over to something else... getting some weird readings from it and they appear to be fairly hit and miss units at the best of time anyway (lots of calibration required) interested in who's running what.... zeitronix, aem have some decent rep from my google trawling (but mostly U.S. forums) - aem getting a lot of love. don't need guages etc... just the sensor to provide a reading to the ECU, that's it. thoughts, keen i am chinny
  4. I'd like to have a go at getting O2 closed loop feedback working with datalogit so I can get some stable fuel ratios off boost. I don't have a fuel temperature sensor so on long journeys, it seems like I am getting some small fluctuations when temperatures change. That, I think, is the only explanation I have for my fuelling going slightly lean (0.5 AFR), on a long journey (150+ miles). I've checked air temperature, voltages, fuel pressure and all the corrections available to me to no avail. I've also raised before that I get a lean condition when turning air conditioning on which is annoying again; grounding all seems fine and voltage corrections seem fine. I've been investigating and found that from most tuners, you'll get these problems if you're running everything in open loop because there's just so many things that need correcting, i.e. a small rise in fuel temp changes the amount delivered. I've got a regularly calibrated MTX-L wideband that I use for tuning which is plumbed into AN1-AN2 on datalogit. I've got O2 feedback turned off because I don't have any narrowband sensors on my car but I was thinking that I would be able to turn the MTX-L to provide output in lambda instead of AFR. If I do this, where do I sort the wiring? is it basically wiring the wideband into the loom that goes into PowerFC? Datalogit just shows 0.005 for O2-1 and O2-2 constantly. I would assume that once PFC sees the wideband putting out the voltages it expects for the O2 sensors, it shouldn't care whether it's a wideband or a narrowband and my AFR problems will go away. I can have the MTX-L display gadget just understand the voltages I tell it and to display the AFR accordingly so I shouldn't notice any visual changes.
  5. Just wondering here guys...what problems would a rich rb25det face.....lost of power etc?im not sure...thanks in advance
  6. Hey guys im installing a wideband gauge and Im confused, if i pull out the original sensor how will the car be able to check the afr? Or do i have to make a new hole just for the new sensor?
  7. R33 CEL - Unknown code Hi All, I recently installed a Haltech Wideband Controller in my R33 GTST - Upon connection to the ECU with my laptop I noticed an additional CEL that wasn't there before "U1133" - Normally the Haltech gives you a description but this had no description. I cleared the codes and took it for a drive and it hasn't come up since - Should I be worried about this and does anyone know what code U1133 is for? Thanks in advance!
  8. High Accuracy Alternatives to Haltech Sensors Hi guys, Currently researching to get some sensors to hook up to my PS2000 (aka Box Simulator 2016). I'm wanting to get both oil/fuel pressure sensors for logging and engine protection hence the need to be reliable. I've managed to track down these Honeywell sensors and I think they will be suitable/accurate and have the calibration curves readily available. Can anyone think of a better alternative? Don't mind spending extra for better quality sensor. Part No - MLH100PGB06A I'd also like a wideband and I've been told that the Haltech Wideband using CAN is more reliable/helpful than your typical 0-5v output. But I'm confused as to why Haltech insist on including the Bosch 4.2 sensor when it's obsolete due to a major design flaw. Does anyone know any alternative CAN widebands? I'm not too familiar with the operating principles of CAN and would love some suggestions. Hope this helps other people save some money on sensors.
  9. R33 Haltech Wideband Install Hi All, I'm looking at getting a Haltech wideband sensor, controller and gauge for my R33 GTST so I can keep an eye on my car closer. In particular, this kit from Golbeys https://www.golebysparts.com.au/parts/view/2994/386/can-expansion-products/can-wideband-controllers/ht-059960-wbc1-single-channel-can-wideband-gauge-kit because it is a CAN product and can tie in with my existing Haltech Platinum Pro ECU (i.e. not just a gauge) Would I need to do anything out of the norm to set it up? I've read about adding it to the ECU in ECU manager but will that cause any issues with the existing tune? I would like to have the gauge and the ability to log without affecting anything already configured. In addition to the above has anyone used this on here before and have they had any issues? Cheers!
  10. Tech edge install Anyone have any experience installing a 2c0b Wideband with LX1 Display and I cannot get it to communicate with my laptop. I am using a digitus usb serial convertor (works fine with my datalogit) and have checked drivers and comm port and is showing up as comm4. I keep getting timeout errors and a PIM error on the device itself. LX1 Display is showing nD I think regardless of with position is selected (0,1,2,3). I have the lsu 4.9 sensor and the correct htx file saved to the desktop if I need it. But I cannot seem to get any of it to work. My computer knowledge is limited hence why I purchased a complete unit. Any help is appreciated. I spent hours last night trying to work it out. I tried re-flashing the unit and is came up complete without any retries, but I'm still not having any luck.
  11. Hi all. I have bought a wideband. Bosch 0 258 007 200. Its a 5 wire wideband, does anyone know how to wire it into a haltech pro plug in? Thought it would just be a signal, power and ground?? Any help would be great
