Hey all,

got the bushes for my car today, they are the proper ones for my car, but one of the bolts does not fit...

should i try get a refund? (one is a bit damaged and used) or my other idea was to get the exact drill bit of the bolt and just drill the centre out .5mm or watever it is..

Cannot put a smaller bolt as the mounting points are bigger size.

for those that care

i bought a 12.3mm drill bit and wound it in with my hands, bolt goes in fine now

you probably should've tried using a heat gun or something.

to make a bolt hole in metal bigger?

id prob melt the bushes before i made the hole bigger

it might've expanded the metal a bit more.

you could've weakened the metal by drilling it out.

it was by the most miniscule amount... .5 or a mm... basically just cleaning up the inside.... not even worth mentioning if u saw the slithers that came off

Ahh these things happen. It's like that alot with cars with fiddly bits I've found, even though it's the exact part your car needs it doesn't always fit back properly as it should. Usually takes a bit of improvisation to get things perfect

SECUR1TY how do you find the ride on your car? looks like you got some farken low suspension and big rims..... im just trying to come to terms with how rough it is

ive sold the rims, ive got stockies on now.

but the ride is still shit. ive got blown shocks and they keep bottoming out.

exactly as I say. car stuff is never plug and play. it's never bolt on.

All these fully sik hectic car modder keyboard warriors always say this is a straight bolt in etc. let me tell ya, almost everything i've installed in the car required slight improvisation.
