Looks like Ive been driving round in an un registered car and I can't prove that I have paid for my six months rego even though Ive got the sticker on my car which expires (Sept 2006) It is possible that 12 months ago I was given a 12month rego sticker and only paid for 6 as I don't have any receipts and Ive followed up all other possible avenues to prove I paid but can't find anything .So it looks like Im going to have to put it over the pits here in WA to get it re-registered.Does anyone know what I can expect? Ive got an R33 GTS-T with the following mods

:FMIC intercooler from just jap with the reasonable tank and shit piping (looks a bit rough and hole in car body were piping goes through)

-Pod filter (loose, not in bracket)

-Custom built exhuast (turbo back)

-Lowered but not rediculous

-mags, stagered size and tyres (235's+265's)

Am I looking at big $$?

Just put a bracket on the pod filter , put standard wheels on as they pick tyres which have big differnce in width and make sure exhaust has a cat and put a silencer in it. other than that you should be ok

Call the licensing centre they should have a record of what you paid for same with bank statements and the like. I probably sound like a mum but i keep all receipts for atleast 12 months for this reason; Human error.

From what i see with your mods. Just keep it tidy, put on stock rims, make sure the exhaust has a cat and is under 98dB and you will be fine.

As tofu said, check your with your bank / CC company and see how much you paid, very quickly work out if it was 6 or 12 months...

Well I went through this morning and the old bloke who checked my car was pretty alright!He even said that it was a nice little car (phew...)

All I got to do is put the factory springs and wheels back(luckly I kept these things) on and secure the pod filter and she is done. As soon as I get the all clear I'll be chucking my Lovells and ROH's straight back on.

Atleast I've got piece of mind now that my car isn't too illegal lol.

Lesson learnt; keep on top of your paper work!!!
