group buy cancelled due to lack of interest and very high freight costs.

I have been warned by someone that they are in fact not fully sealed.

I am looking for a battery though. can you pop up that cover on the top of the battery and see if there are caps underneath?

the cover does not pop up, these batteries are fully sealed and can be mounted anywhere in your car, not just in the engine bay, they will not leak and they have no caps.

Initially was after a Gel Cell battery.. but this ain't bad @ 550cca.

this is a CALCIUM sealed battery, it has NO caps.

this battery is not a no name battery, it comes from a tried and tested company and are the type of batteries that would be supplied to you through any good Auto Electrician. it is very high quality and will serve you well.

i tried contacting a courier company for prices however interstate postage will bring the price above retail, so the group buy will be for pick up only from Penrith (SYDNEY).

although it doesnt look like i'll be able to get that many numbers for pick up, so it doesnt look like this group buy is going ahead.

calcium batteries dont release badass gasses like lead acid ones anyway
