After installing an electronic boost controller to my car, the oil pressure is very high (like 3/4 to the top on the stock R33 oil pressure gauge) when the motor is cold. If i however apply gentle throttle the oil pressure increases (almost at the top of the gauge) Gradually, the pressure drops back to normal once the engine reaches its optimum temperature.

Is this normal?

sounds fine... your engine and oil is just cold. what was it starting at cold before the EBC? perhaps it wasnt reading right

my car cold starts at 60 (which is 3/4) and is sitting at 20 (1/4) when hot idle....

btw your four door looks BUFF very nice
