For the first time I am totally stuck and starting to dislike my car - ha ha.

The issue is the power steering, On start up there is no issue, stationary and doing full turning circle in both directions there is no issue, however after driving for about 30secs p/s is gone.

I obviously checked fluid levels and there fine and no leaks. The hicas light is not coming on ever.

Coinsidence or not this issue only started to occur when I changed the cluster in the dash to a NISMO 260km for the track. I have since pulled it all out to make sure no wires were loose or unconnected but nothing to be seen.

Would love any help that would help.

same issue here since the speedo stopped working, the hicas requires a speed signal to it , if it does not have one, the steering gets stiff ..

Does that mean getting a hicas lock will fix it or is there another solution.

losing ps after 40m up the road usually means no speed signal getting to the ecu.

Did u have the speedo recalibrated, and it works fine?

speedo was crap whe I first put it in, so pulled it out and had it recalabrated.
