im running an oil cooled turbo..

and the oil drain line is 19mm and at a particular point it kinks slightly, nothing major..

will this matter?

just to add the standard drain is about 100mm

the one im using is about 300mm

so voloume is also much more

It will probably be ok but not that wise to have kinks in the oil drain hose.

The turbo bearings whip the oil in to a froth, this is why there is such a large drain hose.

if it's 3/4 inch (19mm or so) a slight kink won't matter. 3/4 inch is pretty big

Yer mines kinked slightly.. I've been meaning to fix it.. since umm the motor went in. lol

never heard of a oil cooled turbo, do you mean water cooled or are you talking about the oil feed or return line as they are not there for cooling, more lubrication. either way, should be no restriction in flow.

prob just means theres no water cooling, my old turbo was oil only no water

My 2c...i use a braided lien with silicon sheathing...as 3rd tiem round i was tired of the hose havign temp problems because of the high mount manifold. Baically the braided hose does not really bend that well, so the whole length og hose is a long constant radius.
