Exhaust Ground Clearance

Hey guys, has anyone else's exhaust hang down pretty low?

My cars still the stock height, and after i fitted the exhaust, it is officially the lowest part of the car. the centre muffler is the lowest part and it sits roughly 100mm off the ground.

I've managed to scrape it a couple of times already in the past few weeks.

I swear i saw a thread on this ages ago but i can't find it again.

lowerst part of the car has to be at least 100mm off the ground. Mine hangs in a wierd way as it was designed for a r33, but ive modded it to fit the r32.

Mine is basically a twin system cat back which comes back and almost touches the diff where it goes under the subframe.

never had a trouble, but if i see those uber large speed humps, or spoon drains i always go sideways through em no probs.

Hey mate I have a 3 inch turboback exhaust on my car and TEIN coilovers so its very low, at the lowest point my exhaust is about 60mm from the ground so its a bastard on most speed humps just need to take them very slow and for the larger ones have to take them on a angle.

Yeah I think angles are the go. There's quite a few high gutters and driveways that a commonly come across, so I'll just have to be careful I guess.
