Internal Gate To External Converting?

if a turbos internal gate. can the flap just be welded up or something to go on a external gate setup? or will it affect the turbo?

End of the day, its gotta be a decent job or your going to suffer.

Begs the question why do you want external anyhow? Most int gates are designed for the turbo... except the each GT3X which some people have RB25/VG30 housings machined to suit and they didnt work so well.
