Spike?

k first of all im still new to this. had a look around but couldnt find general answers. my cars boost is set at 10psi by a gfb valve, ocassionally when i give it a little bit, my boost gauge will hit 11 or 12. guessing this is spiking?? what causes it? can it be fixed? and is it bad. mind you i read some post and people said they were spiking a lot higher. but just unsure of what really goes on when people refer to it.

sorry to say my friend - but gfb bleed valves are one of the worst out . they leak like all buggery. i have 1 myself.. what you are seeing is a spike .

you need to purchase yourself a turbo tech bleed valve... look on ebay - it will cost you like $30 . im after one aswell... better spool up apparently and more power . more boost !!!!
