hey guys, I just got new springs and lowered my car front and rears by 2`, Do i need a new wheel alignment? or its fine?

dunno much bout lots but i gather from reading up on here that it gives you lotsa neg camber. you need a camber kit to fix it. my advice...wait for people who know their shit to post b4 following my advice

lol I don't know my shit either but you are right. lowering the car changes the geometry and you should do a wheel alignment

You will need a wheel alignment. You will also need a rear camber kit to try and get rid of some of the excess negative camber you will have gained on the rear.

also toe will be a major problem as well as camber, toe is one of the biggest tyre wearers, as the tyre is not rolling forward it is scrubbing sideways...

any change to geometry requires a WA.

for an example of this, when you do get your WA get the wheel aligner to pull up and down on the sway bar to show you the changes..

i could blabber on about this for ages as i work as suspension mechanic, hope this helps.

I was saying he needs to get a camber kit as there is not enough adjustment to bring it back to normal numbers. There is plenty of toe adjustment front and rear (if it's a HICAS model)

i understand that and so do you, but the point is, he needs a wheel alignment, enough said..

Definately need a WA, and its gonna be tricky to keep your tyres wearin smooth as others have said even with the WA
