Hey guys & girls, as most of you know now my escapades for 400kw have been haulted for a more responsive 300-330rwkw using some HKS GT-SS's.

I'll be getting some dump pipes from Tomei but id like screamer pipes. As these turbos are internally wastegated, i'll need a divider plate in the dump pipes, so im assuming that of the shelf dumps are outta the question, im gonna need to get some made up ay?

What do you think? It'll be connected to a 3.5" exhaust down to the cat, then use the 4" HKS system i have on it now.

I'm thinkin about hollowing out the cat, to get some mad flames happening, lol. :P

So whats the question, screamer pipes and hollowed out cats are illegal for many good reasons, and completely unnecessary for the power you are chasing.

i understand what your getting at here dude, i said "id like" screamer pipes and that i might hollow out the cat - i think the one on the car already is hollowed out, im not sure. Damn straight they are illegal for good reasons but this isn't my daily, if it was, this sort of stuff is outta the question! I dont think im draggin down the GTR's image at all - thats the last thing i want to do!

    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
    • I did end up getting it sorted, as GTSBoy said, there was a corroded connection and wire that needed to be replaced. I ended up taking out the light assembly, giving everything a good clean and re-soldered the old joints, and it came out good.
    • Wow, thanks for your help guys 🙏. I really appreciate it. Thanks @Rezz, if i fail finding any new or used, full or partial set of original Stage carpets i will come back to you for sure 😉 Explenation is right there, i just missed it 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for pointing out. @soviet_merlin in the meantime, I received a reply from nengun, and i quote: "Thanks for your message and interest in Nengun. KG4900 is for the full set of floor mats, while KG4911 is only the Driver's Floor Mat. FR, RH means Front Right Hand Side. All the Full Set options are now discontinued. However, the Driver's Floor Mat options are still available according to the latest information available to us. We do not know what the differences would be, but if you only want the one mat, we can certainly see what we can find out for you". Interesting. It seems they still have some "new old stock" that Duncan mentioned 🤔. I wonder if they can provide any photos......And i also just realized that amayama have G4900 sets. I'm tempted too.
