well if it was in SA then it would had been better but i have sent you the PM secretgarage.....also i have been recommended by a few people to go to BTR can they also do things like relocate my power steering cooler as atm i have done a dodgy home job and just pushed it back but it needs to be properly relocated and also a few other things...can BTR do that as well? and also does anyone recommend that i get the pipings that are in the engine bay for intercooler and pod to be wrapped in some sort of heat sheild or not even bother with that...

thanks for that information guys....i did some research and have found out that D&T and AAA exhausts do this type of work as well and so far D&T has given me a quote which is about 20% cheaper then BTR and i have heard of good things about BTR, AAA and D&T so i guess now it comes down to seeing what place can do a good job for a reasonable price.....

Thanks guys

Krish

AAA bent up my stainless intercooler piping if you want some pictures of their work let me know and i'll post some up. Also for 2 inch piping supplied and bent it cost me $140. I made up a template out of polly pipe and took it down to them and they made it up (they need 200mm between bends) i went home and cut the excess off got two tigs welds done and they then ring rolled it for me (the bead in the end of the pipes).

EDIT!! At the bottom of this thread are some pictures of my piping then right at the bottom is a picture of the intake pipe i had them bend up as well, the cooler is off the car at the moment so let me know if you want more pic's and i'll post them up.

    • haha don't worry I'm sue you've got more fun ahead buying a 30 year old turbo car....but at least you are in the right place to ask
    • some days eh? The keyless entry and interior light on/off with the key will be controlled by the Body Control Module, but I'm not certain where that is or what it looks like (you might get lucky with a search to get a part#, which could be printed on it). I'd start at the A pillar/ Under dash/kick panel on the driver's side
    • It might be hit and miss, but Nissan Genuine Parts and Pitworks are not the same thing, although both are available from Nissan Dealers with Nissan Part Numbers. Nissan Genuine Parts are the OEM stuff, Pitworks are their attempt to get people back from generic parts makers
    • I did end up getting it sorted, as GTSBoy said, there was a corroded connection and wire that needed to be replaced. I ended up taking out the light assembly, giving everything a good clean and re-soldered the old joints, and it came out good.
    • Wow, thanks for your help guys 🙏. I really appreciate it. Thanks @Rezz, if i fail finding any new or used, full or partial set of original Stage carpets i will come back to you for sure 😉 Explenation is right there, i just missed it 🤦‍♂️. Thanks for pointing out. @soviet_merlin in the meantime, I received a reply from nengun, and i quote: "Thanks for your message and interest in Nengun. KG4900 is for the full set of floor mats, while KG4911 is only the Driver's Floor Mat. FR, RH means Front Right Hand Side. All the Full Set options are now discontinued. However, the Driver's Floor Mat options are still available according to the latest information available to us. We do not know what the differences would be, but if you only want the one mat, we can certainly see what we can find out for you". Interesting. It seems they still have some "new old stock" that Duncan mentioned 🤔. I wonder if they can provide any photos......And i also just realized that amayama have G4900 sets. I'm tempted too.
