Hi I have just put some series 2 taillights onto my stagea and noticed that there was some wire which had connected up both rear lights, Now Before I connected the wire up I found that with the car in reverse the left one lite up and with the drivers lights on the right one lite up. Is that hows its supposed to be???? I ended up connecting it up as it was which means both lights now come on regardless. I also scored some wire cutters which someone left in there. Score.

There are 2 types of S2 rear lights,

normal: 2 reverse lights

cold area: left reverse and right safety red light (which only comes on from fog light switch on light stalk).

So Im guessing you bought cold area lights but dont have the cold area wiring.

some stageas have only one reverse light and one fog light( 1 white 1 red) same as some r34's as well as some euro cars, my left one is my reverse light.

Ahh I see cheers for that, think I will just let them both light up in reverse and fog light for when I turn on the drivers lights (which is never) ha
