Hey hey,

I've got an Excellent condition Apexi S-AFC 2 with the Apexi Stand up for Sale. It currently has a tune, by BoostWorx on it for a mildly modified R32 Skyline producing 205RWKW.

All the Wiring Loom and Instruction are included. Wiring loom has an aditional switch connected in so you switch between the 2 different Knock Sensors, bacically makes setting it up easier...

I've used it for around 2-3 months but I'm upgrading my engine and Computer so i no longer require.

The biggest difference i noticed by having this installed was an increase in power at LESS boost and the power hung around longer at the top end (Strengthened my power band) and Power coming on harder...

Will fit Basically any Car, currently tuned for an R32.

Located in Adelaide and would prefer to only sell locally because it's easier...

I'm chasing $350 ono due to the Excellent condition, modified loom and all instruction ect. included.

They do not sell them separately. What happened to yours? Keep in mind, the cost of a newer and large complete master like a BM57 for example is rather cheap.

RB25DET S1 block + NEO head – which oil restrictors?

Hi mate, do you know if a NEO cylinder head can be fitted to an S1 block when using NEO rods and pistons?

I’m asking because someone on Facebook told me that the NEO head won’t work on an S1 block due to the different oil feed to the VTC.

Have you come across this setup before, and do you know if there’s anything that needs to be modified in the oil feeds/restrictors?

People normally drill them out until there is very little wall thickness then hoick the rest out with a hook of some sort.
Yes, but.... it still will restrict the oil flow. You will have 2 restrictors in series. So even though the original one is bigger, it will still put up a resistance to flow, and then the added one will too. So you have to guess as to how much larger the added one needs to be to compensate for it, and that's all too hard, so, just pull it out.

One more question: do you know how to remove the factory oil restrictor from the S1 block? There doesn’t seem to be any access from the inside, only the small hole from the top.

And if it can’t be removed easily, would it be possible to drive the original restrictor deeper into the block when installing a smaller restrictor, so that the original one is no longer affecting the oil flow?
