Engine Shut Off

Featured Replies

Hello people

I have a few dramas with my nissan Skyline 1993 R33 GTSt. Only mods it has are hi flo turbo, intercooler, exhaust, boost gauge, sgl stage boost controller, spit-fire coils and turbo timer.

All was going well except for a hesitation problem at about 2-3 revs. Not under much load but was very consistant, then when i pull up the car would idle like a dog and nearly cut out. I thought it was the spitfire coils and was going to get it checked out tomorrow. But first i thought i would wash the engine bay. I did and drove off without any other problems other than the initial hesitation one. About 10km of driving the car just cut out and would not start again. It turns over but doesnt start. I thought i got water in the plugs so i took it apart and dried out the plugs and coil stems. Put it all back together and still the car wont start.

I apologise for the long post but thought all info would be good.

Thanks for the help and advise and will let you know when it gets going again.

Cheers

Wes

had a similar problem cept my car kept running turned out to be the ignitor pack shit itself (this was caused by the standard coilpacks shittin themselves). Maybe try another ignitor if ya can borrow one or something.
