I have used Morpowa many times and was happy with their work.

Many people on here recommend Boostworks as they are competativly priced, but I have heard whispers that their PFC tuning isnt so crash hot (not that its bad either).

The other workshop I would recommend is Willall Racing (Sp?) as Martin Donnahn is supposedly the best in SA with the PFC.

Ive known Simon since we were kids - I distinctly remember us getting into trouble with the cops for bombing up a fence when we were teens. My old man and the family have been friends with the Podlewski's since i was a little tacker. Mark used to race a Torry tin top yonks ago.

Ive known them to do some great work but my brothers silvia motor had to be rebuilt by them a second time... nuf said.

i used morpowa to install and tune my power fc... while a little pricy, the best care is taken in your vehicle, and if theres something your not happy with, simon is just a phone call away.

so yeah, i reccommend.

You'll only hear good things about them ... because we're banned from saying anything negative :teehee:

If you can tune one ECU well you should be able to tune any, they are pretty much the same. Just something like Autronic with Autotune is going to be damn right alot quicker to get going then a cell by cell map of a power fc. I have tuned (with help) the Autronic, power fc, and nistune, they only bits that are harder to figure out is each own little tricks and tables for things like cold start etc.

In regard to fuel and ignition maps tuning them all is the same, but the difference between the different ones will be how well they control the motor. (which all listed above do very well)

I have never personally had a car tuned at morpowa, but I have asked simon some questions about tuning a power fc and I have never had someone tell me so much info and give so much help when I wasnt spending money with him. To me this is the best long term buisness plan for him as I would definatly go there to try them.

i had mine done at Tilbrook auto and dyno by Martin Donnon, made 284rwkw on 0.9 bar boost from a standard RB26 with exhaust and filters, which is pretty impressive, so i would take it there.

I always take my cars to Boostworx and have always been happy with the results. In saying that I have had my car tuned a couple times by Simon/Morpowa a few years ago and had no problems at all. 1500km? where abouts are you located?

Ryan

If i remember correctly then i think he is up at alice springs

    • The struggle is real with lower ratios, has cost me a fortune making my 3.5 work. Pull it apart, stuck one stub axle in a vice spline facing up, then stick the centre on. Insert the other stub axle then apply torque wrench. Report back. I suspect it's borked. The good news is they're pretty simple inside, bad news is parts for the Nismo stuff are hard to come by.

    • Hey legends, first time ever installing a steering wheel LOL and I’m a little confused…. And the discussions I’ve found don’t really answer my question. im finally trying to install this nismo steering wheel that came with my car. removed OE steering wheel off my car no issues, first issue I ran into though is the Saas boss kit I got was non hi as so first Whomp whomp…. Was there any recommendations for a good boss kit? second issue I ran into was the nismo horn only has one connection on the back? this confuses me as I would think there should be two? one for positive one for earth?   Any would  be much appreciated 🙏🏽🙏🏽
    • CSV? Come on lad, I'm all about PowerBI these days. I would consider working as a PowerBI or ZOHO DataPrep consultant, but nah, I've had enough of IT. Two decades of being in somewhat in an industry I kind of just chose because I had zero guidance when I was younger.
